Do not use this company

This company is registered with companies house as Easier Composites Ltd.
On 22 December 2022 we contracted with this company to remove a crumbling wall and replace with a composite fence including a gate, we also got them to quote for a new resin bound drive and path down the side of the house including new manhole covers and steps into 2 doors. All 3 items seperately priced.
Payment was due in 4 equal payments of £5260, payable as deposit, day 1 of work, mid contract and completion.
Work started on 17 April 2023, day 1 payment paid, on 27th April they said they were half way through the contract so the mid contract payment was paid.
Since that day they have failed attend and complete the work. I have phoned but never got an answer, emailed and sent a recorded delivery letter. I have recieved one repsonse that was in early June when they responed and we agreed they would recommence work on 26 June. Late on the 23rd June I received an email saying that they would not be able to attend on 26th as other jobs were overrunning. Since then they have failed to respond to emails or phone calls.
I received the unopened recorded delivery letter back marked no longer at this address in mid July but Companies House still shows their address as the one I sent the recorded delivery letter to.
Their contract states that they are not in breech of contract until 12 months have passed. I will be taking legal action if the work has not been completed by 22 December 2023.

Edit - We are now taking legal action to try to recover all money that has been claimed by the company for work that was never carried out.

Stay well clear of this Company

In March, 2022, we paid a deposit of £2403 for a resin driveway. Although the Contract stated that the work would be completed within 12 months, we were promised a date in early June. This was put back to late June, then late July and finally to "towards the end of summer". We have emailed several times, have had the phone put down on us, and have sent a registered letter to them but the last we heard from them was 27th July, 2022.
The 12 months has now passed so they are now in breach of Contract. We are, therefore, having to take legal action to recover our money.

Resin driveway, path, and composite decking.

Work done was resin driveway and path, and composite decking at rear of property. We had a few design issues with decking, but overall we were happy. The company laid the resin on our driveway on a hot day, with not enough people working, which meant the resin dried quickly leaving two noticeable, large bumps. To also speed our job up, we paid for the resin ourselves, as the company were not able to purchase themselves. The company did not tell us this had happened, and left for the day. We stated our disappointment and unhappiness with the drive, to which they offered to ‘fix’ the raised bumps, and admitted it was completely their fault. We agreed, but the fix left the drive with two distinguishable darker coloured rectangles. We then asked for the whole drive to be done again. The company agreed to re-do the resin, if we purchased the resin again, with their compensation amount taken into account. The resin was done again correctly, but has put us in financial difficulty.

Awful company after waiting over 9…

Awful company after waiting over 9 months for a resin patio to be laid ,this company are still not in a position to lay our resin! They have been untruthful with their excuses We are now left with an extra cost of finding another company to lay it. They was never good with time keeping etc when they started the job.We are at a loss because all we owe is the price of the actual resin we have actually paid them for their labour cost ! I would not recommend this company whatsoever ! Also they did not break down or itemise the bill ! Our mistake but perspective buyers please beware do not get caught out as sadly we did .
