Great Reliable Service

I've been a customer for 3 years at two different locations (Hamburg and Schelswig-Holstein).

I previously used the internet for browsing/streaming and working from home 2 days a week with their Komplett easy ADSL2+ service.

For the past year, I've been working 100% at home, with Zoom/Jitsi (Between 4 and 6 hours a day).
Although I did not feel the need to, I've upgraded to their Komplett easy Annex J service (at 27 euros a month) for peace of mind.

I'm extremely satisfied with their pricing and the quality of the network.
As part of my work, I have to transfer or stream large amounts of data and I have consistent quality: I never noticed issues nor did any of my colleague ever report trouble with me.

I've only had to interact with customer service twice (once when the rented router was acting up due to overheating in summer), and to arrange my move.

Both times I've had quite nice conversations, both with their employees and with regards to my needs.
I'm very pleased with their transparency and no nonsense attitude.

Communication is easy by phone calls, as well as by email.

Easybell is one of the rare services that I've had the pleasure to forget about in my day-to-day life, because every just works, always.

Retro DSL

At 35 euros per month, with a 200 euro offiziell-unterstützt router, you get:

1) Jitsi / Zoom / video-calls where your family looks like abstract MPEG-compression Picasso paintings, and everyone squints at you and tells you you’re breaking up and then you just have to make a phone call instead

2) 6 hours to upload a 100mb video before a work deadline but then you miss the deadline so all your hard work from the week prior was entirely futile and pointless

3) 2 weeks (ongoing) to synchronise your dropbox work files so you have to sort of toggle on and off the synchronisation app while you make a fraught choice between which files you must critically download from the web interface over the next hour

4) the accumulated weird sensation of having time-travelled back in time to using DSL on your family computer and instinctively trying to type Doom.exe into the command prompt

With suspiciously consistent averages of:

100kbps maximum upload speed
1.5mbps maximum download speed

And customer support amounting to:

1) Turn it off and on again
2) Check for WIFI interference (ie. invisible iron girders positioned in the 3 metre’s space between you and the router)
3) Gently stroking your hair as you sob uncontrollably, and whispering into your ear: “pay us more money and we will fix it”

We are sorry for your bad experience with us so far. Please contact our support for a solution. If you have got the combination of high traffic and low bandwidth it would be a good solution to change your connection type to a faster technology. ADSL could be insufficient for some more demanding services.
I'm quite sure, we will have a good offer for you.

Good connection, friendly customer service

The contract was done very fast and straightforward and the customer service is always friendly. If your German is not that good and you want English support, Easybell is a great choice. They might be a bit pricey but I prefer it, rather than being locked in cheaper contracts with minimum periods of 2 years and bad customer service. Recommended.

Best customer experience I ever had

Let me begin by saying that I absolutely cannot comprehend the negative reviews describing this company as thieves, liars or scammers.

I've had a perfect experience with them.
My requirements were pretty unusual and there was no way to accomplish it out of the box, however, after explaining what I wanted to do, they did their best to make that happen — with great success.
Communicating with them was a pleasure, via email as well as on the phone. They were always nice and motivated to carry out my requirements to the best of their abilities.

In the end, everything worked flawlessly. I have nothing negative to report at all. They didn't even charge extra for the number of custom requirements they had to meet during that procedure.

So, to sum this review up: I highly recommend easybell, without exceptions and am looking forward to migrating way more lines to them.

They are liars and thieves

They are liars, just as the other customers wrote. My service also stops working at night time, and is so slow, my computer times out. A customer service agent agreed that I could make €50 payment towards a back bill, but didn't notate the system. No the supervisor calls me a liar, even though I'm making payments, and threatens a Mahnung. That's okay, switching to a contract provider. Please don't waste your money or time with liars and thieves. Go to 1 & 1, or even Vodafone, at least they're honest. Good luck Everyone searching for another internet service!

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. After weeks waiting for easybell customer service to resolve a new customer registration issue to no avail I was given conflicting explanations and excuses as to why the issue was not addressed. Ultimately it was made very clear to me that easybell did not want my custom. Honestly this level of "customer service" is unacceptable!

Terrible experience

I had a terrible experience with Easybell.
Whenever Deutsche Telekom electrician would come to set up connection - he'd say it's all connected and the problem is in my flat. And whenever I'd call an electrician to fix things in my flat - he'd tell me it's all good and it's not connected by Deutsche Telekom. Easybell were not able to provide any support here. In the end, I gave up and bought LTE internet and canceled the contract.
But Easybell decided it will be fair to charge me 86 euros for their services.

Hello Mr. Zhuk, unfortunately we can't do anything because the internal cabling between house distributor (APL) and telephone socket (TAE)is defective. It is your responsibility to make sure that this is working. If a technician of Deutsche Telekom told you that everything is fine but it's not, he meant everything in Telekom's area of responsibility is fine. It's a very bad situation for all of us and not the way we used to work.

Absolutely horrible experience!!!

Absolutely horrible experience, do not sign up to Easybell, they will rip you off!!! Their technician came to the wrong address after we explicitly communicated the correct address to Easybell’s Customer Support. Easybell are now charging us the costs of the Technician and delivery of the router. We’ve spent weeks trying to sort this with their customer support who have been no help at all and with every message we receive a new agent who communicates different excuses. I strongly advise you all to use another provider!

We've been looking at your case. The order was placed with the wrong house number. Three days before the technician appointment the delivery address of the router was changed. However, we do not see that the general address was changed at this telephone call. At this point it would have been too late to cancel the technician appointment and the costs would have been incurred anyway. We have now priorized the case at our support and asked them to answer your open questions.

Super reliable, transparent ISP. Probably the best for all your ADSL needs

Fantastic provider. Very good and quick service. Set up our connection within and a half weeks, where the usual lead time to get a Telekom Technician is 3 weeks. Very transparent process, billing.. The only drawback, through no fault of their own, is the fact that here in bloody Berin we are limited to 16 Mbit on DSL. Other providers that do provide cable-like speed (PYUR), are so unreliable that it's best not to opt for them.

An internet connection that often doesn't work

Unfortunately our experiences with easybell are poor. The internet often doesn't work, the customer service is slow. Not really what you want from a provider. In addition, whenever there is a problem, you have to wait for a technician - who can only provide a time range of 5 hours - and the technician often doesn't come.

Waited at home 3 days for a technician to fix a problem, who didnt show up. No internet for a month

Our internet broke a friday, and they told us a technician would arrive monday. we waited 3 hours for him, no one showed up. They booked a a new appointment wednesday, no one showed up, they booked a new appointment friday and yes you guessed it, no one showed up. As their technicians are through Telekom, they tell you that they can't do anything, but you can not call telekom because you are not a customer there.
This is the most kafkaesque bureaucratic bs I have ever experienced. Still have no internet.

Great customer service

Reasonably priced and customer service was very good. When I called them I usually got ahold of someone in under 10 minutes. I unfortunately had to move but I was able to take care of my Kündigung very easily by e-mail. Thanks a lot!
