Good plans look thorough and easy to follow. Not sure about why the plans call for pressure treated lumber for framing I don’t think that is necessary except were the areas that could draw moisture. O... See more
Ridiculous that 72 page document is emailed. We expected a hard copy. . . .will NEVER order from you again and make sure no one we know even thinks about ordering from you! Thanks for nothing!

Design is very good, just missing a few details.
The design itself is very good, but there are parts missing from the "shopping list". Like 5-inch screws. Not mentioned until you actually need them! Also doesn't call out that you need to use pressure-treated wood, which isn't necessarily intuitive for newbies to building things for outdoor use. And the design doesn't describe how or when to install the chicken wire or hardware cloth inside, or trenched underneath the foundation. Important things that really should be included. The design is very very good, and sturdy, but needs some extra attention to be sure you're actually going to have everything you need, and complete all the steps as needed.

Was able to adapt these plans easily to our needs (we were not doing the expensive roof part) and me as a newbie was able to follow plans and make it happen.
Very pleased!
I had ordered a blueprint for a really cool coop from them and was very pleased with it. However, after budgeting the material list I found that in no way I could afford it. I had asked for a refund and they did!
I'm very impressed and pleased with this company based on my experience with them. Enough to write a review!
Great detailed directions
Great detailed directions, clear diagrams, really appreciated the materials list being separate.
Be prepared to work
The plans are clear and concise. The only complaint I would have is it is more of an intermediate build in my opinion. don’t expect to be able to put this together if you have no previous knowledge of construction. I changed several things around to save money and make it more unique

I'm giving a 4 because I love the plans and that it is for a predator proof coop but the cost for supplies is over 7000 y'all could have ball parked the cost of each coop plans so we know what we are in for just saying would have been nice

Steve was great and a huge help
Steve was great and a huge help. He kept in contact and was diligent in making sure I was taken care of. Can't wait to build the coop after the snow melts!

Purchased plans from them using Apple Pay and got charged twice to my account. Blueprints are extremely hard to read and the materials list is not at all comprehensive.

My chickens are gonna live the best live ever thanks to Steve McKey and all the other people that helped make the plans. Also, I live in Spain and these were the best plans I could find.

Very good and detailed building plans
Very good and detailed building plans. The materials for my coop were well organized, and the team was helpful and responsive.
This is a great company
This is a great company, so far. I got double-billed for the plans, but I think that was a banking issue, and not from Easy Coops. I contacted them and received a very fast response. They issued a refund for the double-billed plans. ( I haven't gotten it yet, but it's Monday morning, and I bought the plans on Sunday.)
The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 stars is that, apparently, EasyCoups is located - or, at least, billed from, Vilnius, Lithuania. I have no problem with that, but it requires an additional $3 charge for international funds transfer. I do not have a problem paying for that either, but I believe it should have been noted on the order form.
It looks comprehensive but…
It looks comprehensive but the plan I paid for includes abnormal materials. For example, a treated 3x3? Dimensional lumber comes is 3/4”, 1-1/2” and 3-1/2”. Where am I going to find 2-1/2” lumber? If I rip a 2x4 I’ll have 1-1/2”x2-1/2”. If I rip a 4x4 I’ll have a 2-1/2”x3-1/2” unless I rip again! Sheesh! Why can’t we just be working with typical wood sizes?

Bad specs on blue print.
It's obvious your engineers know their way around a Cad but know nothing about carpentry. The premium blue print I bought for the 4' x 6' chicken coop specified using 3"x3" posts for the major structural design of the coop. Unfortunately they aren't available at any lumber store I'm aware of. I did also write your support email and haven't heard back from them
**UPDATE**
I did get a response back to the email I sent to their support email. They did give me a refund on the purchase of their Premium Blue Print and said they would get back to me with a revised blueprin, which they also did in a couple of days. Unfortunately the first thing I noticed was they had changed the posts dimensions from 3×3 pressure treated to 2x3 pressure treated lumber. Again, I'm not sure where you can get that spec of lumber. I have moved on to using common lumber and their basic design but can't use their specs now.
