It is a shame a customer trying to contact the insurance company to general quieres for 5 days and have no answers and no help. This is the worst experience with customer service ever!

Shockingly poor!!

After changing my car details with this company (I was already insured with thwm), they froze my policy because i did not return old policy certificate. I explained that this had never been printed off and when i went onto their system there were no old policies for me to see!
I have since emailed AND posted back a 'lost certificate letter' (even though it was never lost!!!) they contacted me again to say this has not been received!! What is going on in this office!!
I have tried ringing them so many times that i have literally lost count!! I will NEVER do business with this company again. They are terrible!!!

Almost Impossible to Contact

Updated a policy and tried to contact them over 3 or 4 days. Sent 2 emails and made numerous phone-calls but couldn't get through - sent round in circles. Never got speaking to a real person, kept advising me to go online as it would be quicker, but their agents weren't online. Worst customer service ever. I think there's only one person working in this company, part-time! Eventually I rang one of their brokers and got a nice girl who said she would contact them and get them to contact me. I told her to tell them if they didn't contact me by the end of the day, I'd be leaving them. I got an email within an hour. Unlikely to renew with them.

Useless service!!!

Have spent all day trying to renew policy over phone as had no computer access. With two young kids running round not easy!! Girl on other side phone although polite enough seemed like hadn't clue, first system wouldn't load so rang me back, left me on hold for over ten mins with no warning so I thought had been cut off & eventually hung up!! Rings me back again go through whole thing only to b told their system down. I still was polite until final call hours later when I had everything bar sort code to be told they can't enter what they have even though this is who I've been insured with for years!!!!! At this point I felt like loosing it, more or less saiid forget it will post back or renew online!! Every time you need to ring them there always is DRAMA and that's when you eventually get through which is another nightmare!!! Only for can't be bothered now today to ring for quotes I would not be renewing policy!!! Finally got lend IPad & renewed in less than 5mins!!! Why all the hassle & they charge you extra 10pound for doing it over phone- Joke!!! One very irrate customer!!!

Hell no they aren't easy

I agree with the previous reviewer. Asking for bills etc. I have no bills as I live with my parents. No leeway when no claims bonus was late coming from my previous insurer and totally unable to contact them to explain this. I have never been treated like this by an insurance company. I wouldn't trust them again

Awful company require personal information not required for insurance and you have very little/ no verbal correspondence.

You have no personal contact with the company and when you try to contact them you are on hold the whole time and they hang up. No verbal correspondence, and they ask for information not needed to insure with the majority of car insurance companies. This has been the longest drawn out process I've ever had to deal with and customers should not have to deal with this type of process that a company called "easy insure" should have. They are not easy and in fact the worst I've ever dealt with.

One star is generous !

Stay away from this company. They give no time at all for no claim bonuses to be forwarded. They also required a copy of my registration document and because it never go to them on time they cancelled. They are impossible to fax and be prepared to hold on for 40 minutes at a time if you need to Call. Do NOT use this company.

AWFUL

I would give them zero stars if I could. Avoid this company at all costs. They literally gave us a couple of days to provide paperwork of proof of licence. As my licence is being renewed, it is with the DVLNI so therefore couldn't provide proof. Received a cancellation notice so phoned the company (waited for half hour twice- got cut off twice- phoned back and cost a fortune on this 0844 number) The guy told us they would give us an extra 21 days for proof of paperwork. That was ok. They then send an email saying policy is cancelled. Phone the company and again cut off twice. AWFUL company- absolutely disgusted with service. You are mad to go with these people!!!

Maybe cheapest, far from best.

Regret taking out my car insurance policy with easyinsure.co.uk as this company is the worst I have ever dealt with. Supposed to send me documents and username / password by email when I took out policy, never arrived, only got cover note when I requested one now any changes I have to make by phone rather than online (about two days to answer an email). Over a month after taking out policy they send me a letter telling me they are going to cancel policy as I hadn't sent them proof of NCB, something they had never contacted me about previously and all previous insurers use the details provided to contact previous insurer to confirm. I had already sent them renewal "statement of fact" that details NCB but that wasn't enough. Have now sent a letter and an email requesting that I forward documents they need, but have not told me WHAT they want sent to them. Will not be renewing with this company even if they are 50% cheaper than anyone else.

hard to beat prices

been using easyinsure for a few years now and must admit their prices and cover are hard to beat,the only thing thats lets them down is when you need to contact them with a query you may have which requires you to phone an 0800 number which although is not one of those pound a minute lines its still quite expensive.if it wasnt for the expensive phone line i would give them 5 stars.

Still awaiting some sort of contact

Easyinsure constantly send me text messages however when I try to call them back they never answer the phone!! Here's hoping I don't have an accident until I change companies when my premium is up as I don't hold out much hope for a speedy resolution!!

Great service for a great price

I could not recommend Easy insure more, both for price and value for money. I have used them for about 5 years now, and they have been my cheapest quote every year offering the best service. Not only that, I had my first accident this year that I needed to use my insurance company, and I could not have faulted them. They had a courtesy car delivered direct to me 70 miles from home within about 2 hours and could not have been more helpful when recouping the money to replace my written off car.

Best Price For A Full Service

I've had cheaper covers and I really did get what I paid for. In the long term, they ended up costing me more! With Easyinsure, I get the full cover, there are no issues when I have questions or need alterations and their renewal quotes are still better than all others out there. Highly recommend.

they are 'easy' to deal with

I've been with easyinsure for 3 years. Their quotes are always competitive and include cover for driving in the ROI which is important for me (and other companies charge extra for this).Their internet based renewal process is quick and easy. When I have had occassion to speak to them they have always been courteous and helpful. Fortunately, so far, I have not had to make a claim with them so I cannot advise on that front - but if experience to date is anything to go by there shouldn't be a problem on that front either.

Fantastic value all around, but little teething for extras.

I had been with Easyinsure for 4 years and never had to negotiate with them for a renewal. They are absolutely brilliant and realistic in renewal quotes and the my insurance includes Breakdown Cover, Legal Protection, Courtesy Car, which are normally optional extras on other insurances. The customer support team is fantastic, whenever I had a query, they are so quick to come back and respond. The chat option is so handy.

The few gripes I have are the 0844 numbers for calling customer services and the time I need to get a courtesy car from my dealer when car is serviced or repaired. The price to change the insurance to that car for a day or two seems to be very dear and unrealistic. I would have given 5 stars, if they got a landline or 0300 number for customer services and a reasonable price for the takes of courtesy car.
