The company is a joke! Got a parking ticket, they said I can contest it to the "proper authority" because Easypark just represents them. Of course, you call the park, and they say, "All parking... See more

Fraudulent
Taking money from my account a month after I used them. Claim they have no bank details saved and I don’t have an account! Customer service is useless and couldn’t refund me. Having to go through my bank and claim as fraud. AVOID
Opposite to easy parking.
Unfortunately we have to put up with this stupid setup in the city of Melbourne claiming to make parking easy. The only thing easy is for this company to make money off everyone. You have no choice but to download their app, create an account, supplying your details etc. I’m over unnecessary apps, accounts and supplying details especially to park a car. Obviously just interested in 100% profit with no other alternative other than downloading their app. Believe it or not some people still don’t have a mobile and some older people wouldn’t know how to set all this up as soon as you park.
Not happy.
Paid a Ticket I Was Never Properly Notified Of
Paid a Ticket I Was Never Properly Notified Of - Denied Due Process
I’m sharing my experience in hopes it helps others avoid the same situation.
I recently received a collections notice for an EasyPark parking ticket I was never made aware of. The alleged violation occurred in March 2025, but I only received notice in July - via a third-party collections agency (Canadian Credit Corporation). No ticket was left on my windshield, handed to me, or mailed. I spoke with the parking officer at the time, who confirmed the meter was broken and no ticket had been issued, and told me I was fine to leave.
EasyPark later admitted in writing that there was no communication between March and July, yet they refused to cancel the ticket. They offered to reduce the fine to $69 but only gave me two days to pay, threatening further escalation. Under pressure, I paid the amount under protest - and I’m still pursuing resolution through formal channels.
Their handling of the situation was rigid, dismissive, and deeply flawed. This is not how a professional parking service should operate. Consumers deserve transparency, fairness, and basic due process — EasyPark provided none of that.
I strongly caution others using EasyPark facilities: if you encounter an issue, document everything and do not expect a fair or transparent resolution.
Terrible, awful, why?
If I was able to write a Google review, I so will! RMIT University Bundoora parking has been outsource to Easy Park. I never liked this, but, hey whatever, until my experience today with a parking officer. I do a full year salary sacrifice, so technically paid for the full year. This morning, I took a different car into work because my usual car needs servicing. As usual, parking was chockers. Where I park, I had to wait for cars to pass before I can cross. I planned on switching over my licence number as soon as I get into the office because I don't want a fine (I have done this many times with no issues). Anyway, when I managed to get across, I turned around to see the parking inspector. Again, I waited until cars passed before I could cross back, but he was coming closer to my car and I just dangerously cut through while cars were still pouring down. Basically, I explained to him that I'm staff and I paid have already paid for parking and I plan to switch the number over. So, because I have not yet switch the licence number, he can't see me on his system and because I'm not on the system he has to give me a fine. And I'm like, "I'm staff, I paid for a full year, I just need to switch over my licence number" and he was like, "have you done it?" and I said "I am going into my office to do it." Then he goes, I saw you walking away from you car, and I was like, "yeah, I have to go into the office to switch it over, I'm staff". Then he goes, how am i suppose to know you're a staff member and I was like that's what I'm telling you. He goes, "I don't know that, I can't take your word for it."
After such annoyance exchange, I felt like I had no choice but to do it on my phone. He said he'll give me 10 minutes to do it and if it's not switched over by then, he'll give me a fine. Got out my phone, took me so long to do it on my phone too! Not Easy (probably took me more than 10 mins!).
In all honesty, I was so angry I muttered something under my breath and he heard it, he stormed back and goes, "I'm going to give you a fine now" while I was trying to switch my licence. Arghhhh!! I said, you'll come back in 10 minutes. He goes, "I was being nice to you by giving 10 minutes", and I said, "I know niceness, and you weren't being nice." Because if he was nice to begin with, he would've straight up said, happy to give you 10 min and will come back and check from the beginning. If he was being nice, he wouldn't think I was lying about being a staff member. Basically, I was already guilty and have to prove myself. How is that him being nice. If he treated me like a liar, I'm not sure how much respect I'm suppose to give him?
Terrible company, awful service! Why choose EasyPark?!
This Company seems to be a scam - wish I could give it a negative rating!
This Company seems to be a scam! Wish I could give it a negative rating!
I paid by credit card for a full 3 hours for parking in Fort Langley. I tried to obtain a receipt but that didn't seem possible on this meter. I came back before my 3 hours had expired to find a parking ticket issued saying I had not paid payment. This was approx. 1 hour after I'd paid (I still had over 1.5 hours before expiry!). I have sent an appeal with an attached PDF of the credit card payment (needlessly complicated). It's now 9 days past and I've still not had any confirmation that they issued the ticket in error and the ticket is rescinded.
So frustrating and a needless waste of my time. I will report this to Better Business Bureau. This company is the worst!
Rip off Subscription Charges
If you use this app beware of hidden monthly fees that you unknowingly sign up for as soon as you use it. I used the app a couple of times whilst I had a hire car for 3 days in Norway. As well as the mark up they take on parking fees at the time you park, I found subscription fees coming through my banh account over a month later. Total rip off.
Despicable - Easy Park
This company creates a very negative impression of Vancouver in the way you ambush unsuspecting visitors with tickets. They monopolize parking spaces in public parks, claiming them as public property, placing signage in remote areas of the parking lot that are very difficult to see and then ticketing unsuspecting visitors who are used to public parks providing free public parking. Our first day in Vancouver and we get hit with one of your tickets - we had even driven around the parking lot and saw no signage requiring payment - it was only after we received the ticket and looked even harder did we find one sign post, in the far corner of the lot, referencing payment. The company is despicable - fleecing unsuspecting visitors. I will ensure my colleagues, extensive travel associates and social media outlets are made familiar with your practices and this cities compliance.
This company issues tickets unfairly…
This company issues tickets unfairly and when you appeal they are not reasonable at all.
Their meters are routinely not working and they say this is not their fault. But they are really good a giving out tickets in no time at all once you parked but there was no easy way to pay.
Got Ticketed Without Parking in a Paid Spot!
EasyPark is hands down one of the most frustrating, shady companies I’ve ever had to deal with. Imagine getting a parking ticket in a spot with ZERO signs, no meters, no warning! nothing. Not even on the PayByPhone map. And yet somehow, they magically expect you to just know the entire Stanley Park is paid parking. Like… sorry, am I supposed to be psychic now?
Their appeal process? Completely useless. Rejected my dispute with a copy-paste response talking about signs at “entrances” like that’s even remotely helpful when you're parked 100 meters away from anything resembling a notice. I sent them photos from both ends of my car showing no signs, and even a pic of the nearest lot for proof. Still nothing.
It’s pure money-grabbing garbage. They’re banking on tourists and new residents not knowing the area. It’s not enforcement! it’s entrapment. EasyPark is the worst kind of company: unhelpful, unapologetic, and totally disconnected from fairness.
They don't manage parking! They manage daylight robbery.
Nothing about EasyPark is easy.
Nothing about EasyPark is easy.
I made an honest mistake and explained the situation respectfully, but their response was very cold and threatening. Instead of offering any resolution, they told me to “pay it or face further penalties” — including threats to send it to collections. I ended up paying $102 for a minor oversight. No effort to reduce the fee or show basic customer service. Just a system designed to grab money, not support customers. Avoid EasyPark if you can — there are better, more human alternatives.
Easypark is just a buy lots to scam…
Easypark is just rent parking lots to scam people only..in final words
It is a shame you can't give minus 10…
It is a shame you can't give minus 10 negative stars. The app is absolute garbage. Any council using this app should be fired immediately. Do yourself a favour. If you see the sign for easy park, be assured it will be anything but easy. Park as far away as possible and enjoy a pleasant stroll to where you need to be.
Easy park? Lol
If you can park using any other method free or pay with chickens it easier than setting up this app. Both times the customer service had no clue wanted to reset an account that Dosnt exist useless. It’s a shame councils have gone in this direction
Make sure you keep your parking receipt!
I recently had an infuriating experience with Easypark that I feel compelled to share. Despite following all the necessary procedures and paying for my parking spot in advance at Lot 66, 1426 Arbutus St, near Kitsilano Beach, I was issued a violation ticket without any justification. This experience highlights not only the company's incompetence but also their sheer disregard for customer satisfaction.
Upon receiving the violation notice, I immediately double-checked my payment confirmation on Google Wallet App, and verified that I had paid for the correct time slot and location. There was no error on my part—the fault lies solely with Easypark. When I reached out to their customer service via their online portal and uploaded a screenshot from my phone, detailing the time of my payment at the parking lot, I was met with what seemed to be an automated response, stating that since they had been unable to find record of my payment, they would continue to pursue payment for said violation, and that the issue would be referred to a collection agency if payment was not received in 90 days. The only time I managed to speak to a representative, their solution was to redirect me to the online appeals process that felt designed to deter customers from pursuing justice.
Fortunately, I did eventually receive an email from them confirming that they had eventually been able to confirm proof of my payment, and would not be pursuing payment of said violation charges.
This level of negligence is unacceptable. Customers should not have to waste hours proving their innocence for a mistake they did not make. Issuing baseless violation tickets and then making it difficult for customers to contest them is both exploitative and unethical.
I strongly urge anyone considering parking with Easypark to think twice. If their system is this flawed and their customer service this dismissive, it’s only a matter of time before more people face the same unjust treatment.
I will not be using their services again, and I hope others are cautious enough to avoid similar frustration. Easypark needs to seriously reconsider their policies and show genuine accountability if they want to retain any semblance of trust from their customers.
Beware of Easypark
Beware of Easypark! I parked my car in a lot and the machine would only give me overnight. there was no option for an hourly rate. After trying to bring up an hourly rate, I gave up and surrendered $36.00 for a two-hour gig. I expected that Easypark would refund the money. But no! They had set the rate for all night because there was a game not too far. The lot was virtually empty. I had no offer of compensation despite giving all my details. Shame on you, Easypark! This is a rich company that steals from it's patrons.
Used the Zipby app to pay for parking…
Used the Zipby app to pay for parking at the Vancouver Public Library in Downtown Vancouver, but ended up with a $79 fine.
These people suck
These people suck, payed to park in the lot, lines were barely visible, parked, got a ticket stating that I didn’t park in the designated lines, what a bunch of clowns. Fine was $150, screw these people, what a shame that they were allowed to purchase this property to screw people on. Rant over.
Very disappointed with EasyPark
Very disappointed with EasyPark. I paid for parking through the ZipBy app, but a technical error prevented my extension payment from going through. Despite providing proof of payment and reaching out to both ZipBy and EasyPark, they refused to cancel the violation. Their lack of accountability and customer support is unacceptable.
If I could give them -5 stars
If I could give them -5 stars, that's what they would get from me. Very sneaky, very disappointed about their services and unprofessional employees.
Last Wednesday, April 3rd I just parked my car on this lot around 2pm, and I wanted to go to pay for parking , but in meantime I received a phone call and I stayed in my car 2 minutes to finish the conversation. In all these 2 minutes a patrol employee appeared at my car window with the fine ticket. I was shocked because I didn't even turn off my car engine and she already gave me a ticket. I got out of the car immediately and asked her why she gave me a ticket because I just wanted to go and pay for my parking. She said "sorry, I didn't see you in the car and now I can't cancel the ticket, but you can make a complaint online and EasyPark will cancel the ticket".
After that, she showed me on my phone how to go to their website and submit the complaint. Also, this lady asked me to step aside in front of my car so she could take a pictures of my car. My mistake was that I had to take pictures and video to prove that I was there, but I was so stressed an frustrated about what happened.
Starting from last Wednesday, it's already been 5 days that I have email conversation back and forth with EasyPark, and they continue not to accept the truth, telling me that I'm not in the picture submitted by their employee. How can I be in the pictures when their employee told me to step aside? and they are telling me that I have to pay 77$ for the ticket, now I don't know if I don't have to pay even 150$ because if it is noy paid in 32 days, the value increases.
Verry sneaky people, deceitful behavior and unprofessional business.
Scum of the earth outfit
Scum of the earth outfit. I can't believe that the City of Vancouver owns this company. They should be embarrassed and fired.
They do fine on parking. But their customer service is pathetic and punitive.
