mis selling items saying ther're weatherproof when they're not
i bought a varstrom 500c ebike display off this company and in the advertisement it specifically as you would think being, 1.electrical bike part you'd think it would be waterproof being electronic and a part open to the elements and, 2.is a vital part of an ebike as the bike simply won't without it.
Anyway a few months ago i was caught in the rain,just a shower so as i got home i dried my my bike off and a couple of hours later went to go back out on it only to find when i turned it on the screen went white then just cut out. so like the engineer i am i researched this part as going straight to the reviews of the manufacturer only to find that stupidly this display isnt waterproof its only splashproof which i find absolutely ridiculous and downright stupid. firstly why make a vital part of an ebike that isnt waterproof, i know its not directly ebikesolutions fault but it is when they advertise it as waterproof! THIS IS MISSELLING and blatently lying in their advertisement. i only had it for a couple of months and i did complain about it to ebikesolutions but never heard back from them and im down £57 and having to spend another £75 original bafang part which i was trying to avoid, i only bought it because the advert said that the display was waterproof, all i say is avoid this company as they dont tell the truth in their adverts be warned public im not the only one thats been mis sold things from this firm and you'll be lucky to get an answer or refund off them if you complain
