Shoes gave horrible knee pain
Shoes gave horrible knee pain. Another example of European low-quality business and rip off products. In America, places like Nordstrom etc will allow you to return products and receive a full refund whether worn, you have the receipt, etc. They care about customer satisfaction. I told the sales people I was disabled and needed assistance for horrible back and knee injury. I wore these shoes twice and whilst very comfortable, very bad for the knees and now I wasted £80 and can't get a refund. You need to wear shoes before you know whether or not they will hurt you.
Very ridiculous and I have so much money to spend on some good quality shoes which will help me walk truly.
Excellent service and easy to order and…
Excellent service and easy to order and return. However,
ECCO STREET TRAY W came up a whole size larger than a 40 so had to return. Also, the leather at the front, although soft, felt very thin and I could feel my toenails through them which means after a bit of wear, I know they will end up splitting there. The bottoms of the shoes also looked like they’d been walked in a bit as they were dirty.
Shame as I was looking for a pair similar to Birkenstocks without the moulded footbed as I wear orthotics.
Leather split and appalling experience
Both pairs of Ecco golf shoes have an issue with the leather splitting where it attaches to the sole on the side of the shoe. Both were far from cheap. I rang customer service and they couldn’t have been less interested and only wanted to send me back to the retailers. Considering these are a premium product I would hope for much better. Appalling service and won”t ever purchase from them again.
Ecco known problems with shoes
So, Ecco have had a huge ongoing problem with soles and heels disintegrating as you walk. Im one of those, literally disintegrated at sons graduation, hobbling most of day. Sent complaint and they faffed about for days multiple photos,at least a dozen which proved their shoes defective and then lo and behold the usual "sorry but you havent got receipt so up yours!" So do not buy.
Don't buy online!
Don't buy online!! I assumed there would be a straightforward returns label etc but there is no returns label and no pre paid lable, I have no idea where to return these shoes. The phone numbers are useless.
Lesson learnt! Avoid ECCO!
Wish I had read Trustpilot before ordering! No shoes received and 3 weeks now since ordering. I have contacted customer services 3 times by phone and twice by email and they have made no effort to resolve this. Refuse to allow me to speak to a supervisor, tell me they will send a form to complete to confirm they haven’t arrived when courier company state they have not delivered?
Ecco retain my payment meanwhile!!
Never again Ecco!!
Soles Disintegrate!!!!!!
My husband wore his Ecco shoes to a funeral a week ago Wednesday. While he was sitting in church, he noticed big chunks of rubber were coming off his shoes. He said he was afraid he would be barefoot by the time he got to the truck. He’s worn these shoes 4-5 times at the most and the tops look brand new.
We contacted Ecco and they said they wouldn’t cover them if they were outside the 1 year warranty but they paid to have them returned for inspection. We just got them back from Ecco with the ridiculous excuse why they won’t cover the defect - excessive wear, stepped in chemicals, extreme heat, etc. They know they have a problem because online their president said sole issues would be covered indefinitely and there are lots of complaints and pictures to see. But they changed the policy as of 1-1-24 and only cover the one year. Convenient, huh?
I can’t believe they sent them back to us to put in the trash. And to put the reason for the failure on us! Needless to say, we won’t buy any more Ecco shoes. That was a waste of almost $200.
Shabby customer service
Shabby customer service
D minus Better Business Bureau rating.
Ecco flooded the market for years with shoes whose soles disintegrated. They know it and have now decided to refuse to fix or replace those shoes.
Steer clear.
ECCO soft 7M shoes…glad I didn't get hard
I bought a pair of ECCO soft 7M shoes in the sale. BIG mistake. They are not soft. The first time I walked in them they raised a blister on my left heel. I contacted customer services who suggested wearing thinner socks or buying an ECCO insert. I was wearing thin socks. I bought a 2mm insert from my podiatrist, and now the other heel is rubbing.
There is no padding at the back of the shoe. It is not fit for purpose and the product name is totally misleading
Returns is a tortuous process
Returns is a tortuous process. The shoes have to be returned to Poland and then it takes ages for the return to be processed. Then returns are only processed once a day every Tuesday. I returned shoes in early January 2024 and it is now approaching the middle of February and still no refund. Has put me right off from ordering from Ecco in the future
Ecco Snow Boots soles Disintegrate
I bought 2 pair of snow boots from Ecco. The soles became spongy, so much so that you can poke a hole though them with your finger and they broke apart into little bitty pieces. Ecco said this was called Hydrolysis. It's due to moisture retention breaking down the rubber. Who on earth would design snow boots that can't handle moisture? They were expensive shoes and I just wasted my money. They very politely told me to 'go pound sand' when I asked customer support.
Poor quality
Started wearing a brand new pair of Ecco Soft 2 Velcro shoes which had been in my wardrobe for several years. After 2 days' wear indoors I noticed that the soles had cracked right across and then a big lump of sole came away from the side of the shoe. Have sent photos to Ecco, but they keep coming back to me asking for more and more photos! If they are trying to give me the brush off it is not going to work. I shall just keep on emailing them until I get satisfaction.

wont be ordering again as they use the useless Evri to deliver
Order lost and no update
The soles on my Turn boots…
The soles on my Turn boots disintegrated after 2 years. I was expecting a bit more from a reputable company..I guess I was wrong 🤮
Returns a nightmare and no contact email for company
This company seems to be located in Poland and seems oblivious to UK retail law.
I ordered some shoes and tried to cancel the order when I realised it would take longer than expected. The parcel arrived today but the return instructions provide only a "drop off" point which is based in Birmingham. I am based in Derbyshire. There is no order form to complete for returns.
I discussed this with my lovely Evri delivery man and he suggested I arrange a pick up and return from EVRI. I have done this but have no idea if I will get or when a full refund. There is no information provided.
These shoes are not cheap but I will not be buying any again either online or in person. Not a customer friendly company.
I will never buy a pair of Ecco shoes…
I will never buy a pair of Ecco shoes again. The heels that show no sign of wear have disinegrated whislt I was walking up the steps to the car park at Guilford Hospital. When I got home I noticed that the soles have also spilt. The shoes have only been worn for best a few times.
From reading in various posts on the internet this is not uncommon and is a flawed manufacturing process. SHOCKING !
WOULD GIVE NIL STARS BUT UNABLE TO DO SO AND STILL LEAVE A REVIEW.
Developed a leak
During a walk a short time ago, I noticed that one of my feet was getting wet. A closer inspection revealed that the stitching on the shoe had started to come apart and a small hole had developed at what I can only assume is a weak point in the manufacturing process.
I bought the shoes from a very small shoe shop in Stamford which we visited one hot sunny day in late 2021. The shop is some 35 miles and about an hours drive away from where we live ie. a bit too far for us to go to try seek a resolution - nor did I have a copy of my original receipt so I thought I'd drop a note to ECCO customer care and attached a series of photographs explaining the problem.
I pointed out to them that this was the fourth pair of ECCO shoes I'd purchased in the hope that they'd recognise me as a genuine customer and loyal fan of their products.
No such luck! The reply from Maria Campbell at ECCO customer care on 14 November simply said "Unfortunately we cannot start a claim process without proof of purchase."
Given I'd already indicated that I didn't have proof of purchase, I was rather hoping for a more conciliatory and understanding reply.
To be honest, their response and attitude has left me with a bit of a sour taste and made me realise that neither their product or customer service, is as great as they make out.
I've since noticed on another pair that I own that extra stitching has been added around where the leak originated on this pair - so they must be aware that there was a problem.
Very disappointed given the cost of the shoes when new.
From a very good brand of shoes to...
From a brand of shoes that I have happily bought (over 20 pairs over 20 years!), they are slowly turning into a source of bad products. 3 pairs of sports shoes for walking in nature let water through the sole. It is not, therefore, a problem in the seams or something similar - simply, the sole absorbs water and moistens the inside of the shoe.
Do not order online from ecco shoes
Do not order online from ecco shoes website, it's pure garbage. I would rate it under 0 if i could. No customer service, no way to get some customer support and know if or when my shoes will be delivered, EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING
Great shoes, rubbish customer service.
Bought 2 pairs, 1 for a Xmas present. Evri lost the parcel and wrote to confirm that.
Forwarded the email to ECCO, who sent me a " declaration" form. I sent it back BUT they want a handwritten signature acknowledging I am liable for prosecution if lying.
Outrageous! Evri lost it, confirmed they lost it, refund the money.
