Ordered a teapot and a mug in February. Months later after many calls and emails that went nowhere, I have received nothing. This company is either a scam or VERY poorly run. Would not recommend at all.
These are not "artisan made". They are made in China. Save your money for an authentic mug from a better company. And don't get me started on the unbelievably long shipping times. Three weeks minimum. I still done have mine even though I ordered it on December 1st, it's now the 21st.
This company markets their products as artisan made. I became suspicious when the item shipped and no tracking number or shipping service was provided. Once the package was received, I noticed that the "From" person and address is "Joe Doe". Their shipping information was very vague, but it was identifiable that it had arrived via san francisco port of entry, meaning it came from overseas. I peeled off the outer label to see the label underneath. This label features a country code for China... the fact is that these are not artisan made, they are mass manufactured in China and imported. You are being sold an expensive lie. I reached out to customer service and they claimed they escalated the issue despite providing zero answers to my questions asking where the item was or where its point of origin was. I never heard back.
Bought 3 mugs from this company. The metal handle of one of them broke in two after brief use. Asked for a replacement and told they do not offer refunds. If you check their policy they cleverly do not mention faulty merchandise, and deduct shipping from other refunds. Avoid them. There are lots of pretty mugs out there without having to deal with this corporate cynicism.
I have only left a one star railing as there is no option to leave ZERO stars. I bought a mug from these people, with great excitement when it arrived I duly opened the package and made a coffee in it; The second I picked it up the handle snapped off, after try customer support many many times they have neither replaced the mug nor offered a refund, when I eventually got a reply to one of my umpteen emails Rob could only apologise for me still being on their mailing list, no apology not offer of a refund on their truly terrible product. I can only say please avoid these guys and shop elsewhere it will save you a three week wait for a mug of such poor quality it breaks the first time you go to use it
