We built a garden room in the summer of 2025, and we chose this company based on our friends’ recommendation — they had a garden room built in Greystones in 2023 and gave an excellent review.

From the very first visit, Igor was amazing and took care of the project from start to finish. We had no issues whatsoever, and the whole process was smooth and professional.

The entire team — from ground workers to plumbers and the electrician — were very reliable, always arrived on time, and there was no messing around.

We would highly recommend this company.

EcoBuild delivered an outstanding garden room project for us this summer. They came highly recommended by our neighbour, and they exceeded expectations. From start to finish, the experience was smooth and stress-free. The team was highly communicative, kept us updated at every stage, and worked with impressive tidiness and respect for our home. MM Ecobuild presents excellent but expensive quotes.Nils from MM Ecobuild is nice as long there is no problem. 3 months post build I had continuous issues with leaks which resulted in 75% of the roof rotted away due to insufficient seal. After the company tried to fix it with silicone I have had new roof installed at half a cost of what MM Ecobuild charged. Be vary when using for construction.

Eco Build did the hardcore and electrics for a cabin we bought from a different company. Extremely efficient, in and out on both tasks, and they arranged things directly with the cabin company so we didn't need to organize anything. They're not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Would definitely recommend them.

Be wary around warranty. They seem to struggle with room work. Post build I had continuous issues with leaks from a sky light. I think I had someone out every 6 months for 2-3 years. Then only recently I noticed a section of the roof is rotting away due to insufficient seal in the membrane on the roof. Having had other roofers out they say it was likely leaking for a while to have so much of the wood rotting away. When I contested eco build they said roofing was not covered under the 10 year structural guarantee. Every roofer I have had out said it is unusual to not have a minimum of 10 year warranty on any roofing work. This is my extension on their site. Make sure get clarity on warranty before proceeding on any work. I also never received my certificate of compliance after asking for it.

[Response updated 01 May 2025]: the cause was in adequate sealing between joining of the membrane. The membrane was also laid in such a way that the water has to flow over the seal, like tiles in reverse.

Nils and team fitted out the cabin we had been supplied with and built from another provider.
They were responsive, helpful and good communicators throughout, always listening to what we were asking for and providing solutions to these asks.
The team were very good, delivered a fantastic final product to us and we are delighted that we decided to go with MM Ecobuild in the end.
Would highly recommend to anyone.

Our experience with Eco Build was that this is an extraordinarily efficient company right across the construction platform. Great project management resulted in the various skilled teams arriving to the job in planned sequence, working really hard and so skillfully and intelligently. This great attitude resulted in effective and timely completion of the job. We were amazed by the workers , so pleasant and so dedicated to each trade. It was the highest standard of seamless delivery, implementation and completion of construction and really could be the template for construction efficiency in this country. Not sure if the fact that it was like the Tower of Babel here as Russian speakers from several Eastern European countries managed to communicate with each other and with us, had something to do with the success of their work??. Out of all the teams there was not one Irish person. We surely need those and more immigrants like them in Ireland .!!

From start to finish the whole process was smooth and stress free, when investing in a big project like a garden room we were very nervous as have heard many horror stories, but from our first meeting we were immediately put at ease on how professional these guys are.

When work commenced the guys were so efficient, clean and very hard working, no question was to big or small, there knowledge of the trade is 2nd to none!

They turned our Garden room around in an amazing 5/6 weeks and it is just beautiful, the finish outstanding. The team were always on the other end of the phone when we had any queries which put us at so much ease.

Eco Build were fast, efficient and reliable, took about 3 to 4 months from quote to turn key finish. With about 2 months of building work.

They worked with me to design the garden room to my needs, by filling almost every inch of the space available in at the end of my garden. What was unused space is now a Garden Office/Guest Room.

The team were very accommodating to my slight changes, such as flooring and running Ethernet cabling and helped with both.

A perfect experience from the moment the moment the consultant came to do a site evaluation to the last details of the build. I was very reluctant to do this project as it is near impossible to get a good reliable builder at the moment. I need not have worried. Within 3 days I had the plans sent to me and within another few weeks the building began as promised. The work ethic of this company is unbelievable. Every step of the way the build was done to the highest standard and the guys on the team were polite and I could see they took great pride in their work. I am so glad I did this job. It has made our family life so much more enjoyable. Every step of the build was perfect. The job was done well within the time promised. Not once was there a delay. I 100 percent can recommend this company for a job well done. I still can't believe how quickly it all happened. This company should be incredibly proud of its staff,of its of work and its communication with the client.

From day one my experience with MM Eco Construction Ltd was perfect. The work men were on time every morning and brilliant could not fault any of them very polite. If I had a problem or issue with the build Nils and guntar were at the other end of the phone and were extremely helpful. I am so happy with my new build ☺️ thank you so much for all your help
