Scam Alert

It's a scam. Kind of ashamed I fell for it but its whatever, good thing I was able to chargeback half the payment. "Steve" who's real name is probably not "Steve" offers you a big discount so that you can buy the script (a non-working one). And then of course, there's bugs in the script and you contact support and the "Steve" will tell you he's not a tech support and will relay you to another person. And then "Steve" contacts you later only to ask you for payment for fixing the bugs in the scripts when it should be working already. SCAM SCAM SCAM (Oh and also once you're on his email list, there's no way to unsubscribe because he doesn't offer a unsubscribe link, which is illegal)

Always Ready to Offer Solutions

I purchased Shopsy, a clone of the ecommerce site Esty from Ecommercemix. Unlike a plenty of other web development companies I contacted, the
representative at Ecommercemix was very clear about their product and was patient enough to clarify my doubts disregard to any number they were. I finalized my requirement and placed my order with Ecommercemix. Though the initial price at which the company sold the script was less, I had to pay
more for the customizations that I required. The site was delivered to me a little ahead of schedule and was every penny worth spent. The site had all the specifications I had asked for and Ecommerce’s team was at my call for all sorts of help in setting up the site in my server. Even with the site online I had the necessary help from Ecommercemix’s team for almost a month. I have subscribed to Ecommercemix’s monthly subscription and they are always ready to offer solutions to my site related issues. I am glad I chose Ecommercemix for my business and will definitely get back to them for upgrades on my product.

Poor Service

Unfortunately TRUSTPILOT does not allow me to clearly tell you how poor this company is and the service it provides.

What this company does is offer you a 50% discount on a bad script (be it etsy, fancy or another clone) that needs customisation to work. Doing it yourself is impossible as the code is bad. You have no choice but to use them and their team to do the modifications. Once you do and hand over the cash, they take weeks to do the work, but never complete it. They will then suggest that you do more work to tailor it further – time passes by and you still have nothing to show. The apps don’t work, the service is bad despite the pretty web marketing.

Unfortunately I got caught out but didn’t lose much thankfully!

If you do not heed this warning, then it is your loss. MY SIMPLE ADVICE – STAY AWAY

Not as expected

The main issue always is the same. Determining beforehand whether a product is a finalized quality product or something that only looks like it because you have too few information before the purchase.
The Shopsy script (Etsy clone) is unfortunately the latter. After buying this clone script it rapidly shows all shortcomings and remaining issues that are not handled correctly. It's not decently multilingual, it's not scalable, the deliverable is filled with polluted data, no versioning, no documentation, no roadmap, et cetera...
For non-developers it is pretty much impossible to deliver a working marketplace with this script. You cannot even configure key aspects.
Highly unprofessional deliverable and no support afterwards. Contacted the team (it says lifetime support...) and didn't get any replies whatsoever... Very poor experience for this kind of money.

[external reference] - My strictly advice before buying clone scripts

After getting in love with a particular clone script the next difficult thing is where to buy it and purchasing a clone script has never been easier. I have experienced a several nightmares after buying some clone scripts which were completely out dated. There were many instances where i ended up without a single piece of code after making the pay out. Almost i have dropped the idea of buying clone scripts, but the endless desire of setting up an ecommerce store had given me sleepless nights. Finally i approached [external reference] more cautiously . Though they had some good feedback i couldnt trust them so easily. During my first project with them i had eaten their heads with my long list of doubts and they have patiently listened and answered my every single query. This had given me enough confidence to work with them. Since then i had bought five clone scripts from the ecommerce mix. All i want to say is for who wanna start their own online venture try to go ahead with ecommercemix or similar to them who have earned the Reliability Tag. I can assure a high ROI with Ecommercemix as i am generating enough revenue by the ecommerce Website and i wish you guys too can. I dont want any of you to get cheated like me by trying various garbage scripts, it is really better to purchase clone scripts from the companies that offer reliability and 100% trustworthiness. Getting an end to end support from the vendors makes the buyers breathe easier thats what The real beauty of Ecommercemix is they offer a win win situation.
