Avoid EconomyBookings and Rental24H at…

Avoid EconomyBookings and Rental24H at all costs. This is a total scam. I pre-paid for my entire rental online, including "Full Protection Insurance." However, when I reached the counter, the agent claimed my payment was just a "coupon" and forced me to pay an additional $550.
They refused to honor the insurance I already paid for and threatened to leave me without a car unless I bought their expensive in-house coverage. Their ads are completely misleading. They lure you with low prices and then rob you at the desk. Do not believe their "Full Coverage" promises. Save your money and your sanity—book directly with a standard, reputable car rental company. Even dropping multiple email won't help

Avoid at all cost

I strongly advise to avoid using Economybookings.com (BookingGroup.com) at all cost. Before Easter, we rented a car in Cappadocia and paid for CDW insurance. I received an email confirmation saying ‘’ thank you for purchasing our Full Coverage’’. However, upon arrival, the third-party provider, Eren (oguzrentacar.com.tr), refused to give us the car, claiming that CDW insurance was invalid and insisting we buy additional insurance from them or otherwise we must leave a deposit of £2000. After 30 minutes of frustrating conversations, we reluctantly agreed to buy their insurance and paid £76 (we didn’t have £2000 to leave), as we needed to continue our journey. This was a terrible start to our holiday.
I emailed Economybookings.com immediately to express my concerns. Three days later, I received a response instructing me to submit a query via their website's 'contact us' link. I filed a Formal Complaint, requesting an explanation and a full refund for the CDW. The reply I received was unsatisfactory, failing to address my Formal Complaint, lacking a reference number, and leaving my query unresolved. After sending 3 x follow-up emails, finally today (8th May 2025) I received a response explaining about their refund policy (terms & conditions), which has nothing to do with my query. Poor communication and unacceptable customer service, therefore, I am giving a well-deserved one-star rating. Additionally, the UK number (UK: +44 20 8089 5262 ) on their website/email is useless as there is no one to talk to, so don’t waste your precious time.

Horrible experience.

Horrible experience.

Car rental in Mexico/Querétaro. With insurance (important for what follows).

When I arrived, I went to Europcar (even though Fox had rented me the car). There, they asked me for a $14,000 deposit or insurance at nearly $100 per day.

In short, I left because none of this was mentioned in the contract (only a bit over $100 was to be paid at pickup).

I've been battling with Economy Bookings for two months, and they tell me I never came to pick up the car. It’s nonsense. I even gave Europcar's phone number to the Economy Bookings agent (Kerry) so they could inform him that I was indeed there. No luck, he never called...

In short, a bunch of thieves... I’m still fighting to get my money back to this day...

They offer services that are not being…

They offer services that are not being recognised by the company they say they represent. They offered my full coverage at a discount for a rental car. When I got to pick up the car I still had to pay the full coverage at full price. Basically, they scammed me of the so-called full coverage offer. When contacting the company about this I got a nice BS story. Will never use them again
