⚠️ WARNING: Do not book with EconomyBookings.com – a fraudulent company

I rented a car through economybookings.com. When I arrived, the car was not available. I was forced to rent another vehicle on the spot at my own expense. Since then, I have tried to get my money back. Their customer service first replied extremely slowly and has now completely stopped responding.

This company is nothing but a scam. I will be reporting my case to consumer authorities in Denmark and Latvia.

Unfortunately, I have now discovered that my experience is not unique. Thousands of customers worldwide describe the same pattern:

No refunds or only “vouchers” instead of money

Hidden fees and extra charges at pick-up

Terrible or non-existent customer service

Prepaid bookings where no car is provided

Summary: EconomyBookings operates with deceptive practices, takes people’s money without delivering cars, and then refuses to issue refunds. Ratings across platforms are consistently terrible.

They are scammers.
They are not clear in showing what you need to have at pickup.
They wrote that at pick up you pay zero dollars but they mentioned in the voucher in a small size that you should have funds in the credit card and they will transfer ur money to the orginal currency at the rate that they decide it.
Then if you want to cancel and refund your booking it will be impossible.
They try to put you in a situation that if you are at the pick up date you will have no refund or you need to pay extra
