They gave me over a $1000 pre-tax estimate…

They gave me an over $1000 pre-tax estimate to fix my gas fireplace, saying I needed new pilot assembly and receiver. I called another company for a second opinion. They said those parts were fine but the receiver needed 4 new AA batteries. They put the batteries in and my fireplace has been working perfectly ever since. Economy will not answer me when I asked for a refund of the deposit of $206 for a diagnosis. Beware when dealing with them.
