Not happy with the robot cleaner
Not happy with the robot cleaner. Initially it worked but suddenly started making noise. The suction power is low, leaves the dirt and rubbish behind.

The deebot cleans well overall but navigation isn't perfect. Misses some spots
Nightmare
Happy with the product UNTIL it developed a fault. Returning a lawnmower is a NIGHTMARE, they refused to arrange collection - but DHL drop off point wouldn't accept it due to size. DHL customer service couldn't help as it's a "ecommerce" division. Their third party fixing company (which gets 2* on Google) couldn't help. In the end, Ecovacs eventually agreed to arrange a collection, but it wasted HOURS of time chasing and faffing.
Plus, they wouldn't send any packaging, so a box strong and big enough for the mower cost £15 (I know). Nightmare company.
Ecovac are dodgy
What a terrible company & product. Bought the Ecovac Winbot Win 1 pro window cleaner just over 2 years ago not used it a lot and but thought we do a clean (when it went it did a reasonable job) plugged it in (yes it had a power cord) and it a constant plug into a power source- it was plugged in otherwise it couldn’t say that it wasn’t plugged in. I rang them they said plug it in for 6hrs. I did it keep on saying to plug into a power source. Then called again they want $99 for me to post it to them for them to tell me how much it was going to cost to fix.
I’m not posting to them, I’m posting on here…
DON’T BUY FROM THEM!
I rarely write reviews
I rarely write reviews, but my experience with Ecovacs has been so unbelievably bad that I feel obligated to warn anyone considering one of their robot lawn mowers. If you’re thinking about buying one, do yourself a favor and read this first.
I purchased the Ecovacs Goat robot lawn mower expecting a premium product backed by competent support. What I actually received was a malfunctioning machine and some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life.
Let’s start with the mower itself. For a product that costs this much, the reliability is laughable. The technology sounds great on paper—RTK navigation, lidar mapping, “smart” automation—but in reality it behaves like a confused Roomba that wandered outside and immediately regretted its life choices. Constant errors, inconsistent mapping, and random stoppages turned what was supposed to be a convenient automated solution into a full-time babysitting job.
But the real disaster is Ecovacs’ customer service.
If something goes wrong—and based on my experience, it probably will—you’re essentially on your own. Ecovacs has no meaningful U.S. support. Every interaction is routed through an outsourced call center in the Philippines where the representatives read from scripts and have absolutely no authority or ability to solve anything. They’re polite, but completely powerless.
You cannot speak to anyone in the United States.
You cannot escalate to someone who can actually help.
You cannot get clear answers.
And good luck trying to get warranty support without jumping through endless hoops.
It feels like a deliberate system designed to exhaust you until you give up.
I’ve dealt with plenty of companies over the years, and this is easily among the worst customer support structures I’ve ever seen. Ecovacs is very good at marketing futuristic robotic lawn care, but once they have your money, the support experience feels like falling into a black hole.
The sad part is that robot mowers could be an amazing product category. Unfortunately Ecovacs seems far more focused on selling units than standing behind them.
If you value your time, your sanity, and your money, avoid Ecovacs entirely. There are plenty of companies out there that actually support their products and treat customers like human beings.
Buying this mower was a mistake I won’t make again, and I strongly suggest others learn from my experience before wasting thousands of dollars on a product backed by a company that simply does not care.

It’s seems like a fraud company i can relate with all the comments that have rated it one star….they sell products to customers that are not certified and discontinued. After sales support is non existent i don’t think they even have a customer service department.
i keep connecting with some who is apparently a senior technical advisor..how is he supposed to solve my issue when the damage caused to my machine was done so by toxic non certified cleaning liquid for which i had to pay a significant amount…. i would not recommend even taking a look at their products total scam!!!!STAY AWAY!!!!
Bad experience with Ecovacs DEEBOT N30
I bought 5 Ecovacs vacuum robots during the past 8 years (2 DEEBOT Slim10 + 2 DEEBOT T9 + 1 DEEBOT N30).
The 2 DEEBOT Slim10 worked very well for almost 4 years in my double storey house.
When the first robot started to have problems I replaced it with the 1st DEEBOT T9. This one is still working fine after 4 years.
When the 2nd Slim10 started to have problems I bought a 2nd T9. This 2nd T9 lasted less than 18 months before having lot of problems.
I decided to replace it with the DEEBOT N30.
I stongly regret buying this robot and i lost confidence in Ecovacs products:
The new N30 never worked more than 1 week without issues. Here à few examples :
It loose the map at least once a week.
It stops working for no real reason such as "tangled mops" even if there is nothing on the floor. (Up to 14 tangled mops errors on a single day)
It turns off line at least twice a month. I have to reset it to factory settings.
Montly, there is a problem with the Laser Distance Sensor (LDS malfunction). Again i have to reset the robot to factory settings.
The Ecovacs contractor in charge of after sales services charges RM165 (around 35 Euros) for cleanibg the robot before repairing it, even if under warranty, even if i cleaned as much as I can.
Based on this bad experience, i will not purchase Ecovacs products anymore.
Terrible support from Ecovacs India
Purchased a cleaning robot from Ecovacs India. The worst customer service ever. After 4 reminders over 7 days, they still haven't sent me an invoice. They sent a guy for training but he didn't seem to know a lot. I had already installed and mapped my house but wanted to some something about the other functions. He kept manhandling the device, trying to annoyingly force stop it when the app was saying 'self cleaning in progress' - something which he had no idea about. The robot takes 30 mins to clean a room of 200 square feet because it keeps going over the same space again and again. So, it goes low on battery before it can cover the entire house. It's got the mapping right but every time I run it, it doesn't have a sense of what it has covered and what it has not. It's an average product with terrible customer support.
The company is a fraud
The company is a fraud. BEWARE BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK
Following the initial battery repair (Case raised Dec 20, 2025), the unit was returned to me on January 23 without the power cord.
Despite a replacement being supposedly ordered on January 27, it still has not arrived. To even test the machine, I was forced to purchase a [power cord] at my own expense.
Upon finally powering the unit, it immediately displayed a "Mop washing malfunction" and severe water clogging. I have spent over an hour [following every] step provided, with zero success.
I have been dealing with this defective product for over two months. No compensation, no nothing.
The customer service only says sorry. You cannot speak to a manager. No senior person will call you back. Basically money down the drain.
Extremely disappointed.
Extremely disappointed.
I purchased this vacuum brand new and it has consistently failed to perform as advertised — poor mapping, constant collisions, incomplete cleaning, and repeated errors. After raising the issues and returning the unit, I was offered a reconditioned replacement instead of a new product.
When you pay for new, you expect new. The lack of accountability and now the silence in responding is incredibly frustrating.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend.
This company is a total fraud
This company is a total nightmare. A brand new products battery failed. It took 3 weeks to fix and come back. Since they forgot the power cord. It has taken them another 3 weeks to source a power cord. They cannot track the status of the power cord and neither can they give an estimated time.
There is some call center which only says company policy and hides behind that veil. Extremely frustrating. There are no managers to deal with also. If you want to make your life hell deal with them. No wonder the company has got a 1.6 rating.
Very pathetic brand
Very pathetic brand. No one comes for installation and demo after purchase. They only call and say they are coming, but no one turns up. Very bad experience. Customer service toll free, no one receives the call. Do not buy this brand products

I encountered some difficulties with my robot, I was unable to locate the receipt, and they were unwilling to provide a warranty. I would kindly advise against engaging with this company, as they seem to offer subpar service.
Extremely awful customer service - Don't buy Deebot
Extremely awful customer service.
We have an issue with our Deebot and trying to sent if for collection with DHL for weeks not. Every time we get the same response 'we can arrange a new collection'
They expect us to carry a 15kg parcel to drop it off ourselves otherwise.
They dont even try to find an alternative solution. There is no way to escalate customer support. Do not purchase their products!
Ecovacs DEEBOT T80: Grab your Mop & Bucket
The Deebot T80 worked okay for about 30 runs—roughly 60 hours—before unraveling. Even at its best, it was never “set and forget.” It repeatedly trapped itself under the same furniture, ignored map boundaries, and required physical barriers to stay focused.
Then the failures piled up:
Water system meltdown. The dock pooled water while filling and the mop ran dry mid-cycle. The only workaround was to force a refill every 10 minutes, carving the home "rooms" into 25–50 sq ft zones. Even then, getting it past its mop-drying loop was a fight.
Mechanical & program failure. The mop release jammed so maintenance is not possible. The unit app stopped recognizing rooms, and the bot spun in circles before wandering off instead of cleaning or docking.
Full system death. A factory reset bricked it completely. The app demanded a password reset but never sent a verification code. Support offered different instructions—none worked. At least they’re creative and provide multiple paths to failure.
Now the unit is e-junk.
Customer “support” is its own bot-driven farce: canned replies, ticking clock warnings about case closure, deleted message threads. The bot vaguely mentions warranty coverage but hides that it only applies to units bought directly from Ecovacs. It’s a consumer rights dodge that deserves scrutiny—maybe even by your state’s Attorney General (unfortunately, we don’t have such protections in Texas). From other user reports, the “best case” is a long wait for a refurbished unit that may be older or more used than yours.
In a crowded robovac market, the T80 is an overpriced, unreliable toy dressed up as “premium tech.” And if you ever need support, brace yourself for a Kafkaesque bot loop that drains your time, patience, and faith in automation.
Believe all the bad reviews
Believe all the bad reviews. I have had so many issues with Ecovacs. Had to send back multiple times - then had a replacement which was faulty and then another replacement which was faulty again- they now want ME to pay for the repairs and shipping for a machine they sent me as a new machine. But they won’t help me as the ORIGINAL machine which is long gone by now - is out of warranty. Of course it is - this has been going on for 2 years - almost to the day - strange that!
Avoid. Even tried emailing the CEO in that frustrated but of course it will go into the abyss they call customer service.
Repair process quite successfull
Repair process was successfull but when I received the robot, power cable was missing inside the box.
Unacceptable service and disregard for UK Consumer Rights
Ecovacs UK’s after-sales service has been a total failure. My robot vacuum was returned from repair on Jan 30 in an unhygienic state and missing essential parts (detergent tank), making it unusable.
Despite consulting Citizens Advice and explaining my statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, Ecovacs refuses to provide a refund. They insist on a third repair attempt, ignoring the "Final Right to Reject" after a failed repair. They have also failed to provide their ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) details despite multiple requests.
I have lost all confidence in this brand. I have already reported this to Trading Standards and will continue to pursue a full refund. Prospective buyers should be aware that "warranty" here does not guarantee a functional product.
Avoid buying anything from Ecovacs
Avoid Ecovacs , don't buy anything from this company. Product arrived damaged, no replies or support from Ecovacs. Wish I've done research about them before the purchase
