I read about the heater when I saw…
I read about the heater when I saw online advert and almost bought one, I didn't for two reasons. First it doesn't say how much it costs to run, and it sounded too good to be true. So I decided to check it out online (Not in a sponsored top 5 type of thing tho) I'm so happy to see the reviews here and Thanks to all who gave their reviews. I'm just sorry you got caught out. A good lesson for everyone to check on Trust Pilot prior to buying,
My sister bought three heaters from…
My sister bought three heaters from this company. They were totally useless so she tried to return them. She can’t return them without a QR code and she can’t get this code from the company which advertised free returns. On further investigations we discovered that the company is in liquidation. The payment of £112.47 was taken from her PayPal account by a company named ecommnova, also in liquidation. Someone wrote a review stating they were able to return the product and get a refund but did not mention how they got the address and were able to return it with Evri. My sister can’t return it with Evri without the code and an address both of which are impossible to get. If anyone has this information we would appreciate hearing from them.

Thank goodness I found these reviews otherwise I would be waiting uselessly to get my money back this morning, so thank you to all the Trust Pilot reviewers who pointed out it was a scam just in time. There are similar makes out there with similar promotional material and I am assuming all these miracle mini plug in heaters are all scams so won’t go near them now. A hot water bottle and a blanket works for me. Hopefully this will be highlighted on rip-off Britain or similar.
Utter scam AVOID AVOID and just ABOID
Utter scam glad everybody else feels the sane to good to be true it is do not buy wouldn’t heat a mouses cage avoid when you read the advert I think a 5 year old wrote it utter nonsense
Makes sense to make sure
I just look at deals that sound to good to be true, like money saving heaters, then I go to trust pilot first, then depending on reviews,I then decide, if more people go to trust pilot, a lot of these scammers will fade away, I haven’t been scammed, all down to you, Thanks
Please Avoid at all costs
I cant even remember how i saw the advert and im normally pretty savvy but i admit they have had my pants down with this. Problem is you dont know who the company is your dealing with if you buy through pay pal you get a thing in package to contact ourvipsupport only when got a 50% refund did i see the name ecowarm ah well live and learn do not buy please its useless
A joke
This is the worst gimmick I’ve ever let myself stupidly enter, the so called heater wouldn’t heat a dolls house and is just a hair dryer in fancy dress, theses scammers and others need doing away with like the rest of the scum that’s Lurking around the world.
Not wasting anymore of my time on such a Ridiculous product
Just want to thank you for Trustpirot…
Just want to thank you for Trustpirot web and everyone who share and reveal true face of this blood sucker scam. I was just about to get one of those. But I aware of anything that’s too good to be true. I read reviews first! God blessed those who help themselves. But this company is born with Satan spirit. How could they do this to people. It’s like in horror film when the baddy just about to expose the virus to kill the world. I hope bad karma will go around to damage their family. Having problems in family life and be paralyzed stuck in bed for the rest of their life. So no chance to spend all the money they suck blood from innocent people. Must go to hell on earth before they even die!
DO NOT BUY THIS SCAM PRODUCT
Paypal refunded me due to these products being scams.
I bought one so YOU DON'T have to.
These are cheap unsafe units. If you actually want one of these PTC and computer fan heaters, Go to aliexpress and buy one for £6-12 max!
DO NOT trust this company that drags you in with its terrible scammy selling, "It costs pennies to run" BS, It doesn't. This runs 400w, thats nearly £3-5 an hour depending on your tarriff. It doesn't heat a room in 2 minutes, unless you have a 3 square foot room.
Why was I so stupid to buy this
Why was I so stupid?
Electric socket did not have 10 inch clearance required.
Extension wire not possible as device needs to be upright.
Plug in device is not secure.
Huge consumption of electricity when in use.
Coast £112.47 for THREE and £11.15 to send back... Aargh.
DO NOT touch with a barge pole!
I'm saving the Trust Pilot page NOW.
Thank goodness for Trust Pilot and…
Thank goodness for Trust Pilot and thank you everyone for being brave enough to reveal the scam . I thought they sounded too good to be true and now I know without getting scammed myself. Thank you again everyone!
Update on Ecowarm Heater problem and getting a refund.
I'm a pensioner, disabled, trying to save money, and I ordered one of these heaters on 3rd October 2022 for £49.99 plus £9.99 lifetime guarantee. On 6th October had email, it had shipped. By 13th October it hadn't arrived, the phone number is in the USA so got into an online chat with 'Kenneth' who said it had shipped. I insisted on knowing shipping method, he went off to check, came back and said it had reached Chelmsford and gave me a tracking number. It was Royal Mail (told him they should use a good courier). It arrived two days later (left outside my flat door, postie didn't bother knocking). It wouldn't fit my sockets, they're too near the floor! I could use an extension but the details say not to, and anyway I wanted to be cordless. It's not like the picture, big blobs of silver paint meant to look like logs! I emailed the company on 4th November explaining why I need to return it. No paperwork was enclosed, ie invoice/receipt/guarantee/how to return it. Had reply on November 4th asking me to send photos of heater and box! I replied there was nothing wrong with either, I don't have a smartphone, and anyway when I return it they will see before issuing refund. I also said I would pay return cost, by courier, if they would give me an address. I've had a reply from a different person insisting I should send photos! I feel they're trying to extend this so they can then say I had it more than 30 days. I'm furious, I do all my shopping online and have never encountered such a shady company. I cannot afford to lose this money.
9/11/2022 - I had a reply from Ecowarm offering to let me keep the heater for half price and also giving me the return address. I declined as it doesn't fit my sockets. Interesting that the address is in Colchester, 18 miles from my home, the parcel was despatched on 6/10, on 13/10 had reached Chelmsford, about 60 miles away, and I received two days later! I will send the heater back with Evri and they should receive it tomorrow. I will update when I receive my £59.98 refund.
Update: 23/11/22 On the 10th November I sent the heater back by Evri (very good, reliable, quick and cheap, I use them often) and advised EcoWarm. 14/11/22 they confirmed receipt and said they'd authorised a full refund, which would take up to 14 days.
Today I've had my Bank statement and was delighted (and surprised!) to see the refund was paid in full on the 16th November.
(FYI the return address was a Box Number)
I'm not upping my Stars as this whole transaction has taken so long, and I think if I hadn't immediately rated my experience on Trustpilot I'd still be arguing with them.
THANK YOU TRUSTPILOT! And apologies for the length of this. What would happen to someone who didn't have access to a computer!?
A total scam !
A total scam !! I am an electrical engineer and there is no way this nonsense is possible ! Dont waste your money on what is just a plug socket light !
When you keep scrolling down and it…
When you keep scrolling down and it never ends about a product it’s called a scam. I must admit I found it all very funny. The bit about the cleaning your air when it on was hilarious. What a pile of tat. 😂
I watched the typically childish money…
I watched the typically childish money grabbing American advert after a poor friend bought one. She doesn't have money to spend on rubbish. Felt really sorry for her as she's having a hard time getting her money back. By the time people get wise to this scam, these blood suckers will have made a fortune
Just saw this on an advert on a website…
Just saw this on an advert on a website and as soon as I started watching the American video and saw the website itself it's a total scam. Plus they sell similar on Amazon for £22 with terrible reviews. But if you look at what they're saying it's not even possible to save money on electricity as it's still using those kilowatts. Seriously don't buy one, There doesn't even appear to be an address for them and the phone number is in the states. Typical scam website from top to bottom. I hope people see these reviews on here before paying money to these people.

I should have checked with Trustpilot before I impulsed ordered and paid for my Ecowarm Heater.
The heater is really cheap and nasty although I paid £49.00 for it. My husband, an electrician blew a gasket when he saw it and told me to send it back…..Alas after contacting them twice I have heard nothing from them and suspect I never will. Hopefully, PayPal may help.
