Giant waste of time.
Booked a cardiologist two weeks in advance. Was told I would get location 48 hours in advance. 5 hours before my scheduled appointment they call asking for payment. They don't know if they will get me in today or monday.
Why did I book two weeks in advance if they leave everything last minute? I took an afternoon off work for nothing. I told them to send me the payment info. 30 minutes later I still have nothing.
BEWARE! SCAM
BEWARE!! This company is a SCAM!! If I could give a negative review It would be -100*. I asked for the services of a specialist DOCTOR, and got charged what I thought was a steap price at first. When I got the call, a nurse answered the phone, I asked if I would be speaking to a doctor, he says no, that he was just as qualified as a doctor. I insist to speak with a DOCTOR. Hung up the phone. They then send me an email saying if you want a specialist doctor is will cost over 1300$ for a consult... almost 4x what they initially charged me. What a SCAM. THESE PEOPLE SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED AND SHUT DOWN. Opened a claim with my credit card company and got my money back. Buyer beware. This is a scam. The owner has been suspended by the order of Pharmacist for malpractice and has been fined for several offenses. SCAM SCAM SCAM.
Horrible secretary work
I have to say it is easy to book an appointment lots of availability. However, the phone staff or the service prior to the appointment is utter crap.
For the elderly , it isn’t easy. We had an appointment for 11h15. The email says we will call before the appointment, doesn’t give a time frame but the way it is phrased I assume it is like 15 minutes before the appointment.
Comes the time for the appointment, no call nothing no asking of credit card info.
I call the number she says she tried to call my grandma before the appointment at …7h30 am. Like people are sleeping. She tried once . No emails either. Just canceled . Very inconvenient. Not helpful at all. They should review their site and ask for payment before the appointment to avoid situation like these.
The doctors part however was good and helpful. And when grandma had trouble with camera they were helpful.
Cialis daily tabs - no issue whatsoever
Well…I made the appointment and paid the $136 for the consultation the. Came here and shat my pants 😅 but …the doc was on time for the zoom call, she asked the right questions and told me that she’d send the prescription (cialis daily tabs - emergency because I suddenly found myself in the extraordinarily rare situation where a really nice and attractive woman was in the mood), directly to my pharmacy. I asked her where I could call in case there was a problem, she gave me a number and we hung up. A few minutes later, I started to get really suspicious and nervous, so I called my pharmacy and lo and behold, the prescription was already there. Really a good service. Sure, my prescription’s are fairly easy one, but all the same, I’m extremely happy with the service.
Thieves
Booked an appointment for my elderly mom.
They never showed up for the Zoom meeting, never called, texted or emailed to cancel the meeting.
A week later and many phone calls, texts and emails, I am no closer to get a refund or even the curtesy of a call or a follow-up.
This company will take your money, offer you no service, will not answer your emails and totally ignore you.
Stay away from these crooks
To Avoid
forced to pay for a $150 consultation to learn from the doctor that these results are only available after a specific request from Eden Telemed to the CHUM, a request that was not made despite my reminders. Eden Telemed charges a lot for poor quality service. The service is completely impersonal, with a switchboard that cannot be reached other than by email and the staff unable to assist in any way.
Recent customer
I recently used Eden telemed in an attempt to get an assessment. I filled out some prescreen surveys and then was introduced to a nurse practitioner having paid for the assessment. During the assessment I was informed that I was going to be provided with medication and that I did in fact have a diagnosis.
Several hours later, the nurse practitioner called me back and told me I in gact did not have a diagnosis and that due to my pre-existing conditions (which they'd been informed of prior to me being offered a diagnosis) I would have to go through very expensive additional testing.
My conditions are psychological, and as such I was put into crisis, not just because I was given hope that I'd finally receive help, but also because the cost of the eden telemed assessment was not insignificant.
I contacted customer service and told them that they should've prescreened me for my set of existing conditions if they were going to confound a nurse practitioner to the point that they'd cause me significant stress by changing their mind on my diagnosis, and that I expected a refund so that I could seek a professional who could help me. I have given them several weeks, but they have neither confirmed nor denied my request.
As such, 1 star. If you're in Canada, go elsewhere. My friends swear by Maple.
Great experience
I was afraid because of the amount for the consultation on line, but I needed a ADHD or hyperactive or OCT diagnostic and the specialist stayed on line with me for more than an hour. Like an hour and 30 minutes. Explained to me his job and backgroud, what he was allowed to do, made me feel listened in a safe space. He took the time to explain the difference between the types of ADHD and what were the options. I had a pretty good experience
I was out of options so I tried their…
I was out of options so I tried their service nonetheless despite the negative reviews. My family doctor which is 700 miles away from me refused to see me online nor on the phone. I contacted Eden telemed and got a call foran appointment the same evening, within minutes of sending the online form. Spoke with a nurse which did not pretend to be a doctor and got the diagnosis I was expecting; pneumonia. She was kind and listened, she renewed every prescription I had, prescribed antibiotics and cortisone, sent the prescriptions to my pharmacy within minutes and wrote a note to get me off work for a few days. I only reviewed their services once I realized my employer accepted their note and the pharmacy fullfiled my prescription. Im fully pleased with my experience, I still cant believe how fast, easy and convenient that was. The public system should be ashamed. Would I consult with them for some more complicated illness, maybe not, but for a pneumonia and prescription renewal, anytime. Five freakin' stars!
If Edentelemed is not a scam, it definitely feels like one
If Edentelemed is not a scam, it definitely feels like one:
My consultation:
The 15 min call was rushed with no plan to understand what is going on with me. Tell me your symptoms... Sorry tell me one of them and we will deal with that first. (It is a joke)
The follow up:
No address or phone number on their correspondance.
I receive an invoice "Payment due" for a home visit. $600.00. Yet I did not agree to any of this. It was sent as an invoice, not a proposal.
I never received the results of my blood test (this is after I specifically stated that I wanted it)
When I showed up for my blood test, the medical request for Blood testing was not completed properley.
I left messages a few times. No call back.
UPDATE: After 3 weeks of waiting I called again to find out if the results of my blood test were in. Answer: no
I verified with the Medical Clinic that did the test. Answer: The test were sent.
I called Edentelemed back. The answer; it is not our fault.
Strongly suggest you stay away from them.

Not sure I spoke to a doctor
I booked an appointment, which I was later informed wasn't available until two days later. I connected on time, but the doctor was late. His recommendation was to continue using over-the-counter meds, tho I called for a basic antiinflammatory and any pain relief prescription drug for a chronic back problem persisting after a discal hernia operation, to replace an expired prescription from out of country. I was not demanding a med unavailable in Canada, just anything a close equivalent of them.Customer service was useless (just repeated that my initial prescription was not renewable in Canada.

The doctor was kind but honestly a useless service, way too pricy for a simple call not refundable anywhere (They only tell you once the call is finished). Might as well go to a pharmacien, would've been better for me to check online before
Waste of money…. And terrible customer service
They put on a good show up front while they’re taking your money but they have zero follow through. If there’s a delay in results or a need to advocate for you in the system like an actual patient, they have no authority to do it. Very limited service and poor customer service. If you’re willing to throw money at them, it might be easier. If you want a virtual service, save your money and time and find another.
Avoid At All Cost
Absolute waste of money do not use this service they are borderline a scam. They do not have access to the DSQ which means they cant get results for any tests. Rather than tell you that upfront they try and up sell you on their services. They are very expensive and very incompetent.
Amazing service!

My son, which is a baby was very sick ans I really didnt want to go to the ER and wait for hours with a sick baby.
I managed to get a diagnosis, a prescription and professional medical advice within minutes of asking for an appointment. Im truly satisfied. The Dr was caring and understanding and really took the time to listen to my concern. I will definitely return in the future.
Highly recommended!

I was able to see a doctor online the same day without waiting hours in line at a clinic or hospital. I got a prescription in minutes and it was sent to the pharmacy of my choice. Lifesaver!!
Bad e—consultation
I had an appointment with a doctor from Eden Telemed and the reason for the consultation was to get a prescription and that was very clear in my request and when I had my e-consultation.
There was no mention of lab tests when I booked the appointment and that was the reason I paid for private consultation as I still don’t have a health card. I told the doctor that I have recent labs that I can share with him, but then I received an invoice of triple the consultation amount to pay.
I can’t afford this amount of lab tests when I have recently done them and can share them with the doctor.
I asked for a refund if I can’t get the prescription and they are ignoring me. I paid for nothing and didn’t get any services.
Please respect the patient autonomy of requesting a service or don’t provide services at all.
I mentioned that I’m taking the full responsibility of using this medication and I informed the doctor that I have used it before and it was safe and it was under an endocrinologist supervision.
