Edinburgh Council high standards HA! Edinburgh Council has no standards or morals, I have been in this flat for ten years, it was in a poor state then and is still the same. After finding out that there is asbestos in the block the council says that its to expensive to dispose of, there are repairs require in this building and the response I got from the council was that I will have to put up with it, I am a vulnerable tenant and don't know where to get help as the council ignores me constantly. THEY ARE A DISGRACE!!

But Edinburgh Councils Policies are back to the dark ages lol.
Am glad everyone is moaning Am gonnie moan tae why's the bins no emptied yet! Lol. Poor services chop chop speed it up! Yer hooses tae are poor tae & the unhappy humans souls well they can be unhappy cause I ain't lol. I loved to chat to the Ower of the council lol is that the Chambers chair man lol. The whole world has gone anyways down hill.

It's the worst council I have dealt with. Road works seems to be never ending and so many roads are blocked at the same time ! It is just ridiculous ! And of course it was great idea start building tam line before finishing other road works ! You can soon rename Edinbrugh to "Road works City". It definitely should be investigated !

It is really bad, bad, bad. High Council Tax, highest licence fees and longest waiting times in UK and service from the Council: rubbish. The roads are horrendous, the city is full of speed bumps, thousands of them, everywhere, it makes you think "who has hated this city and its people so much?" Well, the councillors. Speed limits going down even where it makes no sense. Waiting time for a licence (HMO, Private Hire etc.) 6-12 months compared to 1-2 weeks in many English cities and counties.
The city is simply run by amateurs by trial and error method, uselessness and incompetence of councillors float like dark clouds above the city.

Edinburgh council one of The most corrupt and useless of all councils in Scotland Thiers not one service that they can run that is working in any way without some form of bad mismanagement. they are highly in debt through terrible money management decisions regarding the failed trams project for instance which has severely affected their funding of important services like social care and
repairs and staffing levels are at an all time low they have also had to cram all their staff in smaller offices except their privaledged members of staff the higher paid ones that only work on half days their never their after lunch time if at all their also on constant holiday. councillors are also a waist of time at this council they are all blind to what’s going on for their own benefits their are three disabled people in one house and they receive no social care at all no direct payment we don’t even have a social worker between us infact we have no service at all from Edinburgh council as they have refused all services Edinburgh council run things for themselves and twist and break all rules to suit themselves they are a disgrace for a public service.
