I'm very glad today to thank Mr. Baldwin and Mr. Gordon for their precious assistance in the elaboration and the final review of our collective work titled The Social City, that involves a series of historical analyses of the relationship between urban development and social housing in Berlin and Naples. Because of the large number of authors, all of those, clearly, with different communicating and articulating attitudes, the review work required and guaranteed versatility in meaning interpretation, language overview and coordination until the last step. If I could give zero stars I would. After paying near $1000 for editing services, Premier +, I received a draft with homework and 230 references with corrections of which the editor refused to edit. When questioned, I received a passive-aggressive response from the editor, lauding his degree and years of experience (which was supposed to justify why he can’t possibly be wrong). He then proceeded to deflect any responsibility for the unfinished editing work. He accused me of wanting unethical practices because I asked him to finish the job I paid him to do, and then stated that I am plagiarizing (which I am not). I did not ask him to find references for me, which he kept trying to twist as the main issue. He refused to edit reference entries that at the most basic level. Next, I received an email about hi he spent 1.5 hours comparing his draft with my draft, and finding all sorts of discrepancies (which goes to show the caliber of the editing work put forth by this company). My advice is run and take your money with you, otherwise you will get a half-done editing job and be out around $1K like me.
