I personally had a great experience in the Manchester store. My first appointment for measuring/choosing fabrics was around an hour, accompanied with coffee and beers later! Joeline Leach was extremely professional, knowledgable and knew exactly what she was doing. Within a short period of 3/4 weeks, I collected the suit. The quality, fit, shape, colour and feel is absolutely fantastic. I will definitely be using Edit Suits again.

Great experience getting fitted and a great shirt

Had a suit made for my sons wedding, needed some adjusting on the first fitting, Fantastic service from the team in Leeds in arranging for my suit to be transferred to their Manchester store to save travelling back over to Leeds. My suit is beautifully made and very comfortable to and is made of high quality material. Would recommend Edit Suits Co.

I walked into the store/branch which is at the Victoria Gate in Leeds. I saw the poster size pictures of the suits being modelled & I liked the look of them. I was spoken to by a lovely young woman called Emily, who was really pleased to invite me in and she was able to explain a lot about the company & the benefits of buying a fitted suit from them. I was shown the materials and the differences & benefits. I was given the respected prices which considering what I got is pure value for money. My measurements were taken and they took into account so many points of reference which ultimately proved to be so important by the fit of the suit, which when finished was perfect in both the feel & the look. Emily showed me that she possessed an in-depth knowledge of what is needed to deliver a fantastic suit. It was quite amazing & humbly edifying to put on a suit and feel so transformed. I’m so happy I made the decision to walk into the shop, as it’s the best decision I’ve made all year. The whole experience was enjoyable from walking in - to & choosing the materials, styling, measuring & fitting. I have the utmost confidence that I will return for another suit & the shirt I ordered incidentally is the best fitting shirt I’ve ever had. The advice, patience & honesty were just some of the attributes of Emily that I found so tremendous. I would have no hesitation in recommending anyone to Edit Suits. I will never buy a suit off the peg again unless I had no real choice. Quite simply, I’d travel to wherever I needed to for such a service. I’m so happy with the feel of the suit, the cut, and how it instantly gave me that WOW factor. Take it from me, give yourself something special and pay Edit Suits a visit. You can’t go wrong. I had less than a month to organise getting a wedding suit; Steve at Edit Suits handed my first tailor experience and I do not think I could ever go back to buying a suit "off the rack".

Now I am happily married, and all I have heard since is "wow, your suit looked amazing!". In my suit, I simply felt amazing. The suit felt natural on me as someone who opts for a t-shirt and jeans daily. What an amazing place coupled by its amazing team. Thank you Steve! I'll be back!

My son has just got married so we treated ourselves to a made to measure shirt each. Service was excellent. Helpful and attentive staff. We were kept updated on the progress and then went back for a final fitting. The shirts fit beautifully and look and feel great. I thoroughly recommend treating yourself!

Overall a disappointing experience that left a bitter taste in my mouth.

I ordered a bespoke suit for my wedding in February. I went to a fitting in December and was measured up by Paul. When the suit arrived in the shop (from China), I was not happy with the fit. The trousers, shirt and jacket sleeves were too long, and the jacket had dimples due to the material being cut too short across the back.

The items were kept in store to have alterations done, but upon completion the items still didn’t fit correctly and there were still dimples in the jacket. This was certainly not something I’d expect from a bespoke, made to measure suit.

I contacted the customer care team and was told the dimples couldn’t be fixed without compromising the rest of the jacket. So ultimately, I was left with a sub par suit for my wedding. I would have been better off buying a suit off the shelf for half the price.

I ended up having to go to a local and reliable tailor to try to rectify the issues, which he was able to do to a degree within the limitations of the garments he was provided with.

Some Edit Suits items are unbelievably bad quality - for instance the chinos are unwearable. They are made in China and are way much much worse than a similarly priced pair from a high street retailer - which shouldn't be the case. Yet, when I complain everything is quite difficult and they do not accept that the quality is bad. I would avoid Edit Suits until they can improve their customer service.

I had the please of getting my wedding suit from Edit Suits. The experience was seamless from start to finish and the team went above and beyond to ensure the suit fit perfectly and reflected my personal style.

Great experience all round. The initial appointment at which measurements were taken and I chose the fabric and details for my garments was really well executed. And then when my shirt and trousers arrived, I had a further session, took advice about a slight alteration, and was then very happy with the final result.

I had my wedding suit made in Birmingham. The staff was very polite and took time to walk me through the fitting/selection process. After 4 weeks I received an email notifying me suit was ready. Small adjustments needed and i received the suit 1 week later at home.
Overall very positive experience and I will be back for me suits. I believe it is a very good value for money in terms of made to measure suits.

Had a great experience in the manchester store. First appointment for measuring was 1 hour and we spent so long with the assistant looking at cuts and fabrics that we didn't have time for the measuring so the assistant volunteered to skip his lunch break and measure me as we were flying out the next day and couldn't make another appointment. Collected the suit when it was ready and fits perfectly and feels amazing. Will definitely be using them again

Wonderful people and very professional helpful

A short ten minute flat walk from Leeds train station through shopping centres, also close to a multi storey car park, not far from the Headrow.
Edit Suits in Leeds, resides in one of the most exquisite Victorian Leeds Shopping Centre Arcades, next to Rolex, a handy coffee shop, and a very well stocked John Lewis in the same complex.
Although my appointment was originally with Wayne, I arrived early, and they happily accommodated me. Emily stepped in to be my outfitter, then once the other client departed I had two outfitters, one lead the other inputting occasionally with sage smiles and nods.
There are numerous options available as you would expect for a bespoke tailor fitting; modern, traditional, dozens of beautiful materials inside a range of price points, double or single breasted but then more details such is button colours, and lining, pockets, arm length taking into account wearing a watch, waistband type and style. The overall design process is not overwhelming and follows a steady logical path. That I have as much dress sense as most mid 50 year olds, I was glad Emily could steer me – she is clever, attentive and has common sense. I choose a Holland and Sherry Saville Row cloth.
My requirement was to ensure I had a business suit that would be suitable for travelling in – crease resistant, not too hot – I often visit London, and smart enough for a wedding or private members club, warm enough for colder weather with a coat. The range of linings is huge traditional to quirky.
I also added a bespoke made to measure shirt. The process took about an hour.
The second fitting took just 15 to 20 minutes, everything fitted perfectly, so no adjustments were required.
I wore the whole outfit at a business award meeting in Birmingham NEC Metropole Hilton this week, and I can say I was confidently amongst the best dressed and the cut of the suit covered up and allowed me to enjoy a substantial meal followed by a few drinks. Would highly recommend, and now they have my measurements, it will be easier to choose a new shirt or a blazer as they have a start point to work off.
Highly recommended based on staff attention to detail, friendliness, ability to put you at easy, a quality product, in a lovely environment.
