Edward Bays are professional, knowledgeable and nothing is ever too much trouble. I had a client without any water on Saturday morning and an engineer was with us within the hour and carried out a temporary fix for the weekend.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

We had low pressure and limited hot water, Taylor in head office and the engineer Jayce were both fantastic, the problem was diagnosed and repaired very efficiently, we are very happy with Edward Bays!

We had a leak in our boiler. Made an appointment and Lewis turned up on the day. He checked the boiler and identified the cause of it fairly quickly. Lewis asked if we still had a warranty on the boiler and we were not sure. Lewis called the manufacturer and identified that there is a warranty on the boiler, but as the boiler was out of warranty as it had not been serviced. He told us how we could put the warranty back on and advised us of the options available to us.
He advised us that once the warranty is back on, it would be cheaper to go with that, or the option of him fixing it, but would cost a lot more. How honest is that?
We have got the warranty back on again and the manufacturer has scheduled an appointment to fix it.
Big shout out for Lewis for doing the right thing and not just progressing with fixing it at a potentially high cost. We will use them again if required.

Super impressed with the customer service we received from Edward Bays Limited. Upon finding a split pipe at 1500hrs and calling Edward Bays they enabled us to diagnose the problem via facetime and by 1730 their Engineer Chris arrived on site and quickly solved the problem. He could of just left after that but insisted that we check all the boiler rooms.
The knowledge and information that Chris has and kindly passed on regarding our heating system was nothing short of amazing.
We have warm classrooms and happy teachers this morning and I cant thank Chris and Edward Bays Ltd enough for not only solving the problem but also for the swift arrival on site and the professional manner in which the work was carried out and the information that was given to me to enable us to get the most out of the computer controlled system.
We will 100% be using these guys in the future.

Following a recent house move we instructed Edward bays to service our heating system before winter as I suspected a problem with the radiators. The engineer diagnosed the problem and worked past 8pm! to ensure we had hot water and then came back and removed a blockage in the radiator system. Top service and correspondence. We have used Edward Bays for many years. Undertaking annual oil fired boiler servicing at our tenanted properties, as well as ad-hoc plumbing/heating issues. They have helped us out numerous times with urgent issues and always do their best to swiftly resolve. They are competitively priced and all their engineers are friendly and professional.

Having heard about the firm from others who had used Edward Bays in the past, we arranged for them to carry out our annual CH service recently and were impressed by their service. A few days later, there was a leak in the system (NOT directly related to the annual service). I phone Edward Bays at 8am - by 9.45am, an engineer had attended, identified the cause, and fitted a new part.
Outstanding response and great customer service. It is reassuring to know here is a local firm that I can rely on if any future problems arise.
Needless to say, I have added a Reminder to my calendar to book Edward Bays for next year's annual service!

Used Edward bays for the first time this year to come and service my boiler, lovely lad, Lewis, clean tidy and respectful. Great job. Will continue to use EB for future boiler services or plumbing needs.

Bays came to the rescue when we had a water leak from a header tank in the loft. We rang at 8 am and they were able to to send someone that morning to diagnose the problem and make it safe.
They promptly ordered the parts for a complete repair and made sure we informed of the order progress.
Their engineer Conor came to make the repair staying into the evening to ensure he completed it the same day.
We’ve been their customer for a good number of years now and have always had great service.
Very highly recommended.

I contacted Edward Bays on behalf of my elderly grandparents who decided they wanted to remove their gas cooker and cap the gas. After enquiring with Edward Bays they were fast to get back in contact, advising of the process and providing me with a reasonable price. My grandparents were more than the happy with service provided, the plumbers arrived on time, were friendly, efficient and even went out of their way to remove the cooker from their property! Edward’s Bays are a great company to use and I would recommend them to anyone expecting excellent service. I have to say Taylor Walter was exceptionally helpful, a true credit to the company.

Bays solved an ongoing problem with my boiler & did a full service. What an amazing company to deal with. They turned up exactly on time, diagnosed the issue in a timely manner & their engineer was a perfect gentleman to have in the house & treated everything with respect. Pricing was very competative & invoicing clear & concise.

A FAB company to use, no wonder they have been around for over one hundred years, absolutely brilliant. They will be my first port of call for all my plumbing & heating needs from now on. A very big THANK YOU.

Fantastic company, really fast response, friendly and helpful. We had our boiler breakdown in the run up to Christmas and Chris (our saviour) came out the same day and stayed late into the evening diagnosing and solving the problem. Really could not recommend this company enough. Thank you 🤩

We were having some plasterboard above our cooker removed and a piece of gas pipe came away due to a dry joint! Gas leak from an open pipe….. We had to turn off the supply, suspend the other project.

I called Edward Bays who have serviced our boiler over many years and they were able to redeploy one of their engineers within 90mins. By 1045 the gas pipe was secured and sealed, and our kitchen project was back on track. Excellent service, thank you and well done Josh and Craig.

Close to Christmas and a leaking toilet! Edward Bays made a plan for early in the new year and kept us fully informed of the work plan. Job done very well by a very pleasant contractor. Will use the contractor again, for sure.

I have been a very happy customer of Edward Bays for the last 15 years. We had a complete loss of heating and the fault was difficult to track down. They came out within a day and the following week they came back on 2 separate days to do the work.

Throughout they were professional, courteous and tried their hardest to minimize mess. When decisions needed to be made they were open and honest, explaining the options very clearly so I knew exactly what they were going to do once we had agreed the next steps.

Heating is now working perfectly again !

Brilliant service, our heat pump broke down and they managed to get an engineer to us in record time who fixed the unit as we had no hot water. Many thanks to Taylor who sorted this and to Chris who repaired the unit and also waited until hot water came through.
Also when you phone them a human voice answers you!

Brilliant service and attention to detail when installing electric shower and servicing gas boiler. All work tidied up and waste materials taken away. Will definately recommend to friends and relatives.

Bays have been looking after out heating and plumbing needs for many years now. Their telephone people are always friendly, understanding and helpful. Engineers arrive as scheduled and exceptionally if delayed, you are advised. Work is always carried out with care for your home. The engineers are well known to us, friendly and efficient.

Edward Bays are quick and efficient and very reasonably priced. Always very friendly and helpful on the phone. I would definitely recommend them.
