Unbelievable professional Repair shop! I was first a bit scared if the service is comparable to Europe but I’m more than positive surprised about the super professional service! I needed to change the battery of my Mac book because I need it for work and it worked perfectly! The owner is so friendly and changed my battery in a few minutes. I can recommend this service 100% in Sri Lanka it’s definitely the best in whole down south 🙏🏼

I initially had a great experience with this service—efficient, helpful, and accommodating. The owner went above and beyond by arranging a temporary laptop for me while my MacBook was being repaired, which I really appreciated.

However, the issues started after I received my laptop back.

1. Screen Issue: After the new screen was installed, I noticed a strange bleeding effect when adjusting the brightness. I was told this is "normal," which I found odd, as I’ve never experienced this with any MacBook I’ve used for design. After speaking to my peers, who are all long-time MacBook users, they confirmed that this bleeding issue is not normal at all. The issue only appeared after the repair. I decided to accept it, thinking I could get it resolved through the 3-month Apple warranty that was promised.

2. Payment Error and Warranty Issue: When my repaired laptop was delivered, the driver entered an incorrect amount on the card machine. I wasn’t aware of the mistake at the time. I was contacted the very next day and asked to pay the remaining balance of Rs. 22,700.
Unfortunately, this happened during my last day in Sri Lanka, when I was busy preparing for an early flight. While I was ready to pay, I needed a few days to sort out my travels and other responsibilities after leaving the country. Before I could make the payment, I was informed that the Apple warranty couldn’t be activated because the balance hadn’t been settled immediately.

This feels unfair. The original payment mistake was not mine, and I was never given a reasonable chance to resolve it before being penalized. A 90% payment had already been made, and I fully intended to settle the rest once I was settled after traveling.

To add to this, the communication via WhatsApp was poorly handled. I was ignored, accused and dismissed once I raised concerns.

Now I’m left with no warranty for a screen that still has issues. The follow-up and communication were poorly handled, and I felt ignored when raising concerns.

While the initial service was excellent, the way things were handled after the repair left me very disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend this place based on my experience. I now have a screen with a bleeding issue, no warranty to fix this bleed issue which was never there before.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but this felt necessary. After paying a significant amount for the repair, I feel let down and unfairly treated as a paying customer.

I can’t recommend this laptop repair shop in Galle highly enough! The service was absolutely top-notch—everything is working perfectly again, just like my laptop was never broken. The owner of the shop is incredibly friendly, helpful, and approaches his work with exceptional responsibility and expertise. You can tell right away that this is someone who truly knows his craft and is passionate about it. If I could give 6 stars, I would! Thank you for the outstanding service!

Had an issue with MacBook Air keyboard due to dust and moisture. The master did everything very professionally: he diagnosed the problem and came back with the solutions less than in 1 day. In 1,5 days it total I got my MacBook fully recovered!

Great service from EFix. My aging MacBook Air has had a few visits here over the years. Every time I think this must be it, surely it can’t be repaired, and each time he works his magic and it comes back to me fixed and working. Great communication always and this last time delivered back for free which was really useful considering I live nearly an hour away.
