Jimmy was a phenomenal tour guide
Jimmy was a phenomenal tour guide! He was so knowledgeable about ancient Egyptian history/all things related to Egypt, and conveyed this information to us in a fun way that kept us engaged throughout the entire tour. At the beginning of our tour, we told him that we prefer to travel 'off the beaten path' to see a country through the local perspective and he totally delivered! We went to restaurants and parts of Cairo & Alexandria where we were the only tourists! He also took us to amazing local restaurants and made sure we ordered all the unique dishes that Egypt has to offer!
After 3 days of city sightseeing, Jimmy accompanied us camping in the Baharyian Desert for 3 days and 2 nights- that experience was definitely a trip highlight.
Overall Jimmy is very professional, kind, and extremely knowledgeable. The tour was a perfect mix of learning and adventure. We felt extremely safe with him guiding us through an unfamiliar culture and we shared so many laughs. I would recommend this tour with Jimmy to anyone who is visiting Egypt!
