Eicr 

The EICR SHOP are total scammers. Also trading under TICS. They are a company that open rent use to carry out EICR. After carrying out the EICR they charged me up front to have the remedial work completed in order for me to have a valid EICR. They refused to do the remedial repair without me paying upfront the total cost of £169.00. They have taken my money and not done the job. I’ve ended up getting another company to do the repair. Open rent say it’s not their problem. The EICR sent me an email saying they will refund but I’ve never received any such refund from EICR or open rent. My advice is Don’t use The EICR shop or pay openrent to instruct a company. Best to source your own if you don’t want to get ripped off.

Carried out EICR report. Surprisingly failed (had a certificate from 5y ago).

Insisted on payment in advance to book the remedial work which I stupidly did by bank transfer. Constant cancellations and latterly just don’t turn up, now don’t respond to emails or messages, their phone line is never manner. No interest in issuing refund/doing the work they’ve been paid for.

As far as I can work out they’re a scam - have reported to Action Fraud.

Avoid EICR Shop at all costs!

Still not paid for works completed in January. Company still ripping off customers. Company still advertising for engineers on indeed. How can indeed let them keep advertising. Mike knows how many customers, contractors and wholesalers he owes money too. Nothing more than a thief.

Zoe your husband won’t get a penny they are also known as tics global can’t believe indeed let them advertise, look at all the reviews on here and on tics global. They are awful crooked criminals. I know loads who got bumped, including myself. I have complained to indeed a while ago now. Sorry to break the bad news. Bet they keep promising to move the pay daye move the boundaries to get more work out of your fella he won’t get a penny. So sorry you got sucked in, I was fortunate enough to suss them out early enough and used them as a second source so only got done out of about 1.5k. The owner Mike has every excuse under the sun

Please can someone tell me if they've received any payments as an engineer? My husband has done job for them and no payment! We are owed so much money!!!

This company is a scam. We booked an EICR through open rent, they did the test and requested remedial work. The quote is extortionate and they want the money in advance and refuse to do the work until they get paid. After I read the reviews, I refused to pay in advance. Please avoid using them and open rent should avoid contracting them to do any work

In line with others and my own experiences with the Davy family I am pleased to see that both Tics and the Eicr shop have been delisted from local surveyors direct so are now without a sales platform, hopefully this will be the last we see of this disgrace to the electrical industry

CCJ filed against TICS global for £1200 as they never paid my last 3 invoices.
Don not work for this company if you are an engineer. If your a customer do NOT book a job with them as they won’t refund you if required.

Absolute shambles of a company, previously trading as TICS global doing the same work!! Get engineers to carry out EICR’s & remedial works but never pay even when promised.
Constantly advertising for engineers to carry out work at high hourly rates of pay to lure them in. Most recently I have been contacted with bribing me to take my review down and they will pay me!! This was last Tuesday 14th February & still morning and not answering my emails once again.

Massive scam of a company. Overcharge customers extortionately after the first initial EICR, they also don’t pay their subcontractors on time if at all. I have first hand experience of this as still owed money from November and receive no reply about my money. Do not use or work for this awful establishment

Its a scam!. They took £83.00 as a deposit then changed the booking and didn't tell me. They said they went in however I knew I had a broken plug and one hanging of the wall. This wasn't checked and I was told all sockets were safe. When I raised this as an issue they sent a new document saying I had failed on and LED light and not ANY plugs. Though gave me a quotation on £400. I have raised the socket issue multiple times by email and phone. No response just we will look into that. And nothing else.

This is a scam. They insist on receiving money via bank transfer so you can't easily claim it back, and then never turn up for the appointment. 2 appointments cancelled with no notice or communication. Impossible to speak to a human on the phone.

I regret to report a disappointing experience with The EICR Shop Limited. After canceling a service appointment, my request for a refund was met with a fake confirmation and no actual refund. Further attempts to contact the company were unsuccessful. Other Trustpilot reviews suggest that my experience is not isolated. Caution advised.

If I could give minus stars, I would. This company is a con, once they take a deposit they move the appointment then when you cancel because the new appointment does not work. They offer a refund but to date which is 15 days plus, no refund is made. Avoid avoid avoid

Has to be a scam company?! Appointments not kept on three occasions, no apologies given. not replying to emails. When I called to complain they told me they’d sort it and get back to me, they never did!

Asked for deposit back because of the incompetency, told me it would take ten working days, never arrived! Had to get it back through the credit card.

Quickly took £83 deposit and arranged appointment. Cancelled the appointment at short notice, cancelled a second appointment (with 3 hours notice). I cancelled the service, they agreed to return deposit on 24 August, I have still not received many deposit back despite numerous calls and emails.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Bad experience. I have left a review under 'TICS global' Please read. Its the same company. Do not use. Definately they will rip you off. Their telephone staff seem genuinely not to know that customers are being scammed. I guess they need the job, which is basically just fielding constant complaints. Its sad as well as near criminal. DO NOT USE and do not work for them.
