Ordered tyres for my son's car. It was so easy to order the correct tyres. Good price as the tyres were great quality. Very efficient service. I've no complaints. Will order again when my car needs tyres.

Good product for good money.

Very good value over other sites but it took a long time to get order of 4 Cooper discoverer. Its more the fault of dpd delivery service though. Not sure why as I ordered from other company's and got items much quicker

fAST DELIVERY AND EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE

I was told my order RD 41835960 was shipped on May 22nd and given a UPS tracking number which showed nothing for several days. I emailed on the 27th asking why the tracking number showed nothing and then my order shows as being picked up from eiretyres on May 28th?? It's now June 2nd and my order is still in transit. No communication from Eiretyres, no response to my initial query. Pretty poor service.

I purchased 4 Michelin tyres from this website eiretyres on 26/04/20, paying €681.60. I did so as the website can take online payment and deliver direct to my door, removing the need for me having to travel unnecessarily during COVID-19. The transaction went through and took money straight away from my bank account. I then received an email yesterday from them stating that I had not paid and they are changing the payment method to bank transfer. Until I transferred the money, they would not dispatch the tyres. I called straight away, Sean was to speak with their accounts and call me back, he NEVER called. I called again this morning, spoke with Sonia, she was helpful. She told me the same story again, then said the problem is with my Bank as they have not released the money. I called My bank, they gave me an authorisation number which proves that your company took the money from my card online when I purchased online. They advised NOT to pay you again by bank transfer. Your staff member has now said that you are releasing the money back to my account, and I can then pay by Bank transfer. This means if you can release it, you had the money all along. It will be 3-5 working days before i get the money back from you, then if I have to do a bank transfer that may take another 3-5working days, and then delivery may take 4 working days. That is 3 weeks in total that I haven’t tyres and I don’t have any spare money to pay another €700 for tyres during this difficult time.

Does this sound like a good customer experience to you?
Do you think this is treating customers fairly during COVID-19? You are saying there is no affect on delivery at this time... that is because the couriers are working tirelessly to keep the service up, not you.

Should you really be blaming the Bank when they can evidence that you have the money authorised?

I’m all for credit and good reviews where it is due, but I’ve given your team the chance to rectify this by calling you 3 times. Not a good experience.

** UPDATE for readers - the email I received privately just reconfirmed the above, they are refunding the money I had paid. This still begs the question how can they do this if they haven’t received the funds???**

anyway, I’ve just shopped around and If you are looking for Tyres, try camskill.co.uk. Actually coming in €40 cheaper (including delivery to Ireland which is costing extra, if you are a UK resident it will work out even better). I’ll be posting this suggestion on other review forums too, so that customers will be informed before making a purchase and hopefully not receiving the experience I have been through.

Appalling service..my husband placed an order and was emailed saying order was sent to warehouse for dispatch
After 2 weeks order was still not dispatched, and upon inquiry was informed that order was cancelled due to stock problem
Money refunded, but had to go through PayPal to get it
I WILL NOT BE BACK !

5 years ago i used Eirtyres, was very impressed then, dropped out of the car scene.... 5 years later, still very impressed...Brillant Seller, Do Not Change A thing!!

The tyres I wanted at a reasonable price. Delivery could be faster.

Shipped completely wrong size. After shipping them back, they sent out the correct size, but also shipped another set completely wrong size. I dont know what is going on with this company but the warehouse cannot ship orders correctly.
Email support does not offer much in the line of discount for all the inconvenience. Will not use again
