Buyer Beware

Buyer Beware! Our church had Ekklesia as our CMS for a little over four years. I am the website admin. The back end, where the webmaster does content updates, is clunky. The templates are not modern and are extremely proscribed. It is not intuitive, and the Help pages are outdated. The system is prone to erroneous error messages that will tell you your content wasn't updated, try again later...when in actuality, it WAS updated. As if that wasn't enough, when we were finally able to switch providers, we gave our required 30-day notice. Ekklesia first sent us the wrong cancellation info for another church with the same name in a different state. We caught that, notified Ekklesia, and completed a new cancellation form on January 7th. It's now been more than 60 days. They caught us unawares in February with another monthly charge. Now they are dunning us for March! They have been contacted twice with all the email documentation regarding our service cancellation. They are ignoring it.
