I recently purchased a wallet and a cardholder (unfortunately via two different orders within a day of each other). Upon receipt of both, I decided I did not like the quality and choose to return both items. The return process on the website was incredible difficult to navigate to so I sent an email to their customer service department requesting to return the items and how to proceed. Unfortunately it took 3 back and forth emails for them to finally tell me how to get to the correct location on their website. When I finally was able to proceed, their system didn’t work and then 2 more emails later did they then inform me their system was down and to send the request to another email where someone would help. Paola finally came to the rescue and began the return process but for some reason for only one of the orders. Because they were two separate orders I figured another email would arrive shortly. I figured incorrectly. I then received another email saying that because I was being helped by another department the email thread would be closed.
After 5 separate emails/attempts to contact someone to at least begin the return/refund process for the other item, I still have received no response. Not sure of this is a scam company after reading some of the other reviews where others experienced similar issues and still not having received their refunds, etc after weeks of waiting.

I have been using an Ekster Cardholder pro for some time now the ONLY reason I stopped using it was I wanted to something thinner and i was using one with a AirTag holder which really is what made it to thick. So i recently got a FindMy compatible card and pulled out the Ekster and needed a new strap and i wanted a new cash clip back which I purchased thinking it would come with a strap.
It didn’t I looked on the sight to purchase one could find it reached out to support which replied very fast they told me they were referring me to specialty services and a day or two later i had an invoice for a new strap!
But the best part was there was no charge for the strap or shipping! THATS CUSTOMER SERVICE!
The cardholder it top quality I hated to stop using it cant wait to get it back in my pocket!

I ordered a 2 pack of the travel compression bag but only received 1. I have tried contacting customer service via the contact us on the website but have only received an acknowledgement that I emailed.. And "someone will be in touch soon!" with no time frame for response in the acknowledgement.
3 days later I still have no response.

I need to Compliment Ekster for their customer service.
I purchased a card holder for my husband which he did not find comfortable ( nothing wrong with the item though). The return process was swift and painless.
I got a credit + a $15 store bonus.
Did not have time to buy the wallet he wanted for a while and lost the gift card.
wrote them and got answers and help within minutes.

I think the wallet is great. It neatly ejects my cards and I don't have to shuffle through them. I had problems with their shipping company thought. OnTrac is not really reliable, and I didn't have a really great experience with them. My package was three days late and their tracking was inaccurate. However, I reached out to Ekster via customer support and they managed to resolve the situation.

Ive used Ekster wallets for a couple years now and it has been my favorite wallet ive ever had, recently my cash band was ripped (from normal wear and tear over years) making my outside cards and RFID blocker plate slide down multiple times a day, I reached out to ekster and within a few days, even though I was out of my warranty period, they had me a new cash band at my door, all I had to pay was shipping, amazing, fast, and genuine customer service.

I returned my order (#EKSTER-1591363) and the package was successfully delivered to Ekster’s returns partner on 5 January 2026 (DHL tracking confirmed).
As of 3 March 2026, more than two months later, I still have not received my €84 refund.
There is no dispute about delivery. There is no dispute about receipt. The item was returned properly and confirmed delivered. The only issue is that Ekster has simply not issued the refund.
Customer support is completely ineffective. Responses are automated, repetitive, and avoid addressing the actual problem. There is no accountability, no timeline, and no real assistance.
Under EU consumer law, refunds must be processed within 14 days after receipt of returned goods. Ekster has exceeded this by a wide margin.
This is not a misunderstanding. This is not a shipping delay. This is a company holding customer funds long after receiving returned merchandise.
Extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience.

The card holder itself is fantastic - great product and lovely design, purchased twice.
But..We lost the wallet, the reader didn’t work, tried to contact customer service, delayed reply and generic response. We eventually found the wallet, but defeats the purpose? Also, it was so hard to connect with an android device, the steps outlined weren’t as straightforward as it was made out to be.

I was sent a replacement after the reader was found and did the troubleshooting and it still wasn’t working. Maia was great.
My only feedback is perhaps a speedier resolution.

This company should get 11 stars. They seem like a grass roots oriented company that simply does not exist in today's culture. I either lost or didn't know of a charger cable for their wallet tracker I received as a gift from my son. I contacted Ekster support, they sent me a new one for free! UPDATE 3/19: This still took more wrangling after 3/2, but Augustin from Ekster assumed responsibility for getting it resolved and he stayed on the issue until it was. Ultimately, OnTrac declared my shipment to be "undeliverable," for whatever reason, and Augustin had a new one shipped out via FedEx. So: Augustin gets 5 stars, the new wallet is a 5 star product for me, but I can't go more than 3 stars for the amount of trouble this involved to get it sorted. Until Augustin, it was a no stars experience.
UPDATE 3/2: Nice to see a reply from Ekster below (finally), but why does it have to get to this point? Now it has been sitting in the OnTrac terminal 10 days with no update. Here's how you could and should resolve this TODAY: send another wallet out to me via expedited 2-day service. I've waited long enough, no? Then sort whatever's going on with OnTrac yourself and either declare that shipment lost or get it sent back to you.
Original Review: Good luck getting your order from Ekster or getting any help when it goes astray while enroute. I was honestly very excited to receive my carbon fiber Cardholder Pro. But now it has been sitting in an OnTrac terminal in Tennessee for eight days without moving and no word on what's happening or when I'll receive it. Is this Ekster's fault? No. But I have messaged Ekster customer support repeatedly asking for help (OnTrac is useless), and after an initial "Okay, we'll get on this," Ekster has never responded again. I even offered to pay for a second wallet in advance if they'd expedite another one out to me, then get credited back when the first shipment is declared lost, but still no reply.
So now I'm left to file with American Express to have the charges reversed as my only recourse. (Charges reversed as of 3/1) When a company treats a first time customer like this, they have no interest in customer service or your repeat business. I doubt they'll be any response from Ekster to this post, but maybe they'll surprise me. It seems they have time to post thank yous for 5 star reviews, ending with the line "We're always here to help." Ummm, no you are most definitely not. Do better.

I ordered the vacuum bags and pump. The bags are great. The pump, not so much. The customer service, poor. Pump 1 works for maybe two trips. After that it dies. I order a replacement, all good. Pump #2, same problem. After two trips, the pumps works for 5-10 seconds and dies. After 4 or 5 emails back n forth, they’re asking questions that I answered that I answered in my first email. #runaround. Still no replacement.
