I purchased the Fortuna Parliament wallet in July of 2022. Just a really good product. Stylish and practical. Mechanism works well. Handstitched construction with upmarket full-grain leather makes it very classy. Responsive support group. Very helpful. I've had one other smart wallet (not Ekster) and the Fortuna beats it in every way.

The polarity of the reviews is very interesting to me.

I would say I am a 4/5 happy with the product--the trigger mechanism works well and feels like it will last for quite a while. The leather and bind of the wallet are solid, as well.

Honestly, the reason they get a 5/5 from me is because of how responsive and understanding their customer support was. My fiancee dropped my wallet and it fell right on the trigger--trigger fell out, fully broken. The customer experience team immediately responded and shipped out a replacement wallet. This experience is what will keep me a loyal customer moving forward and recommending Ekster over other competitors brands. Thanks, Ekster team!

After breaking the mechanism that ejects your credit cards on my Carbon Fiber Wallet. I reached out to Ekster and in about 24 hours they already had a brand new one shipping my way. I am very impressed by how they've handled this process being that they are a small company. I will surely recommend them to my friends and family.

Love my Ekster Parliament wallet - had it for about 8 months when the mechanism started jamming. Reached out to c/s and Bianca was wonderful to deal with. A couple of quick responses and a video of the issue and she sent me a new replacement. I recommend the wallet to everyone already - cannot wait to advocate for Ekster even more after this experience. Thank you again, Bianca.

Defective wallet problem/exchange
my senate wallet came in with a problem mechanism and talked with the customer service line and explain what happened. Showed video/Pics and worked my way for an exchange for a different one and got it! they were great! and professional. Thanks Jane and Ekster support team!

Bought my wallet a few weeks ago and used it for about a week. Absolutely loved it. Worked great, looked great… total upgrade. And then, I broke it. I followed all the instructions and put the right number of cards inside but when I went to swap one out I pushed the eject button and wasn’t able to get it to work. Well instead of being smart about it I pushed a little too hard and it seemed like it broke part of the mechanism inside. I contacted the folks at Ekster to ask if it was repairable or if I just needed to buy a new one not expecting any special response. I was totally surprised when they got back to me right away and said they’d be replacing the wallet and no cost to me. Apparently I was unaware of the 12 month warranty on it when I purchased it. Even without the warranty, the customer service was exemplary and much appreciated. This is a great product and a company that stands behind it is even better. Looking forward to purchasing a few more of these in the future for friends and family for gifts.

I got my wallet after a long wait but they respond to me really quick and they were very helpful. I really like the wallet and it's so much easier to carry arround. The only downside of mine is that in the bottom edge of the forged carbon there is some residual or rough cut that is noticeable and on the middle of the wallet there is also an imperfection in the finish of the product. The mechanism looks great and had no issues whatsoever with it.

I ordered the Parliament wallet from Eskter. Was tired of the standard trifold and its bulk. Wanted something new and minimal with a cool style. The Parliament wallet has met everything I am looking for in a wallet. Has a cool style and feel and also feels so nice to easily access any card I need with the slide mechanism. Love this wallet

I’ve had the parlement wallet for over a year now, the card ejecting mechanism still works like new and the wallets leather looks even better now with a bit of wear and love to it. i also purchased the tracker card unfortunately i broke it and the customer service was amazing and comprehensive about my problem and solved my issue in no time. Great products and great people.

Love their products, we bought a wallet about 10 months ago and the pop up mechanism broke and our card were stuck, we could not get them out. I contacted CS and they promptly sent out a new one after so long. They were kind and the process was so quick. I will be buying from them again.

The wallet mechanism failed and was within their warranty period. Customer service was fantastic and resolved the issue by replacing the broken wallet.

After way too much research, purchased Ekster Parliament wallet. Works as advertised. One surprise: despite the company advertising its wallet with a picture of someone using an Apple Card in a transaction, the wallet mechanism does not work well with metal cards. That’s fine, but the information is not prominent in their advertising and their promotions imply metal cards are fine.
I would suggest not advertising the wallet using a product they don’t support, and making it clear up front what cards are supported.
That said, I use the mechanism fine for plastic cards, and put my Apple Card in one of the traditional fixed card spots.

I really liked my Ekster Senate Wallet. Unfortunately the button mechanism is not built to last. The first one broke within a year and I was sent a free replacement.

Fast forward 2 years the same happened, this time no replacement was offered.

They claim to be sustainable, creating durable and reliable products. Unfortunately this is not matching my experience and throwing away the second wallet due to quality issues is not what I would call sustainable.

In regards to your 2025 response the denied return reference in 2021 was #968604.

Ekster send me another replacement in 2025 and I am somewhat hopeful that the mechanism has been fixed.

I love the green senate wallet that I received, it’s amazing for people like me that love wallets, I had a problem with the mechanism that pushed up the cards but I got in contact with support and they helped me find out it was just dirt in the mechanism and when I cleaned it was good as new, I definitely recommend this wallet and their other products, very well made and I’ve had my wallet for 4 months and it looks amazing other than some dust and stuff from day to day use, 5 stars

Looked like good quality when I purchased online.
one small drop of my wallet and the mechanism that triggers the cards to come out has broken off.
Build quality is absolutely not worth the price.
Do not buy this.

Buyer beware. The button mechanism of the card holder of my Parliament wallet had snapped without any reason or undue force. When I queried this with Ekster, they had said that they had upgraded and made improvements to the mechanism however, I was advised that the wallet I had purchased was over the warranty period by approximately 3 months and unfortunately they are unable to honour the warranty. If they are touting that their wallets are the best in the market then I’m afraid lasting only 15-16 months is just not good enough for a very expensive wallet.

I ordered the parliament a little while ago and really loved the look and functionality of the wallet. I got compliments from all my coworkers, friends, and family.

Unfortunately, the ejecting mechanism broke, realizing my worst fears. I asked for an exchange, expecting some long arduous process that would ultimately leave me with a broken wallet and a bunch of wasted time. But after just 2 emails, I got my store credit, and my new wallet is currently on its way. Amazing, thank you Ekster wallets!

Ended up buying the Senate. I would give it a solid 3.2. The design is quite innovative. I love the card button mechanism however it feels kinda cheap. I could see it breaking in the future. Wish they made it out of aluminum, copper, brushed steel, etc. It would make it feel more durable. I don't trust the cash band in the back. Can see it snapping after some time. They do give you an extra one which is nice. While cash isn't carried as much in my wallet these days it somehow finds a way in it. It would be nice if Ekster came up with a legit way to store your bills so you know they are safe and won't lose them. I wish you could store more cards in the main slot. 10 cards would be ideal. Wouldn't mind the extra bulkyness. Like 2mm of bulkyness. Found myself having to leave cards out.. They market the wallet as made in Netherlands but its really assembled in China. Disappointing. I was so happy to buy something European made until I saw a China label. While the wallet is lightweight and slim it feels cheap. The leather is thin. I wouldn't mind a little more bulk to the leather lining so it feels like a real wallet. It feels like I'm carrying a piece of plastic in my pocket.

I have never been happier with any other wallet honestly. The only thing I would suggest is an option that the mechanism inside is a rust-free metal. Mine snapped & I called for a replacement. Without questions after sending the requested proof, they replaced it.
