I got the Ekster Parliament in 2019, it survived very nicely up untill summer of 2026. The leather aged gorgeously, and the first issue was the plastic bit braking off. It wasn't the mechanism itself, just the plastic. Overall, to have a wallet as a primary wallet for 7 years, I am more than pleased with the product.
I messaged the company how is their warranty situation, and they said that for my model it's just 2 years(which fair play, it survived way longer), but they were very helpful offering me a discount for my next purchase-which is definetly happening!
I swear to god I am not a robot, nor AI, I am just a costumer, which was really happy with the product (and the company messaged me on a good day that they would be happy if I'd leave a review on trustpilot). Well, I am leaving my good word for them. Expensive-yes. Longlasting-also yes. Very functional and minimalistic- FUC*K YEA.
Would recommend.

I had an issue with my Ekster wallet mechanism shortly after receiving it. I contacted customer service and was sent a replacement right away. My replacement broke about 18 months later and Maia at customer service reviewed my situation and sent a free replacement once again. Correspondence was fast and detailed. Thank you for the excellent customer support and commitment to your products.

Broken product and zero customer support
I purchased the Ekster Cardholder Pro (Order #EKSTER-1526598), but the card ejection mechanism completely failed. It now randomly pops my credit cards out on its own, causing me to almost lose my cards multiple times.
What makes it worse is the complete lack of customer service. I have submitted a warranty claim and sent multiple follow-up emails since July 27th, 2026 to their support team (including rep Valentina) with zero response. For a premium wallet company, the warranty support and communication are unacceptable.

I purchased a wallet from Ekster in 2024 and will never go back! Not only is the product of the highest quality, my interactions with their Customer Service Team were second to none! Specifically, Valentina worked with me to try and troubleshoot a fix for my cardholder mechanism (that busted after a drop from an abnormally high height) and when it could not be resolved, had a new item in the mail the next day. Their customer service team is kind, knowledgable, prompt, and a joy to work with. I will never buy a wallet from anywhere else.

I was initially happy with this wallet, but the card ejection mechanism broke after about 4 years of normal daily use. For a wallet that costs around $100, I expected significantly better longevity.
Looking back, I could have bought a decent off-brand RFID wallet from Amazon every year for the same total cost and still spent about the same amount over four years. Plus, I would have had the opportunity to switch up styles more often. Realistically, many of those alternatives seem to last closer to two years based on reviews, which makes the value proposition even harder to justify.
The wallet looks great and works well when it's new, but the long-term durability didn't match the premium price tag for me.

Had the spring mechanism fail on a wallet so I contacted Ekster. They were prompt in responding. When the same wallet wasn't in stock, I used the store credit to purchase a better one.
Overall, great customer service!

aftersales and communication is brilliant.
was gifted a card wallet in 2023 obviously used it to death as my EDC
the card mechanism failed and would not click in the cards. so i contacted Ekster and after shoing invoice and photos of card wallet they agreed to a replacement FOC.
lifetime warranty means exactly that.
more importantly no quibbling no arguing just send copy of invoice and photo and replacement on way back.

I have the Cardholder Pro for Magsafe. I ordered it on December 1, 2025, and received it a few days later. I really like the product, but the locking mechanism has stopped working. I've reached out to customer service three times using the website request form and direct email for warranty support using my order #. The first request was submitted on June 20, 2026. I have not received a reply as of today

I really liked this wallet, very convenient and easy for everyday use, especially with the airtag pocket (for the Wallet for Airtag). Just a shame the very first time i dropped it the card push mechanism stopped functioning it even dropped on the face of the airtag not the wallet itself. I recommend but they need to fix this

I ordered the Ekster Cardholder Pro and received it within a reasonable timeframe. In fact, I attempted to modify my order less than an hour after placing it, but was told it had already shipped. While that seemed unusually fast, I accepted it and waited for the product to arrive.
Unfortunately, within the first few days of use, the card ejection mechanism repeatedly fell out while the wallet was in my pocket. There appears to be very little holding the mechanism securely in place, and several small internal components would come loose. This was not a minor inconvenience—it happened frequently enough that I had concerns about losing parts altogether. For a premium cardholder, this level of quality was completely unacceptable.
Because the product was defective, I contacted customer service and requested a refund. Instead of processing the return, they asked me to provide a video showing the issue. I did so promptly. A day or two later, without my approval and without addressing my refund request, they shipped a replacement unit.
I replied multiple times explaining that I did not want a replacement and that I wanted the refund that is advertised on their website. I even offered to return both the original item and the replacement at my own expense. Despite these efforts, I received no response.
Since the replacement was shipped, I have sent several follow-up emails and have been completely ignored. At this point, my experience has been disappointing on both fronts: the product quality was poor, and the customer service has been even worse.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend Ekster. There are many competing products available, and I would strongly suggest considering other companies that stand behind their products and respond to customers when issues arise.

Sure, the wallet worked great a few times. Didn't think about it honestly. Who really uses a wallet anymore with tap to pay so ubiquitous. So on the rare occasion I recently had to present a physical card the mechanism was broken. No biggie, Ekster's world-class customer service will help me out. Nope, 'out of warranty.' I guess I should have used it more so it would have broken under warranty. I hope they're keeping the investors happy, 'cause the customer isn't a priority.

I upgraded from the standard Ekster Wallet to the Wallet for AirTag last October, and for the past 6 months all was well until the ejecting mechanism inside the wallet broke two weeks ago.
I contacted Ekster and the initial response gave me hope, but the communication from Ekster is very poor, lots of emails sent by me plus a video and pictures. But since then I haven't heard anything.
Very disappointed.
So.. their response below is BS. It would be way more helpful if someone in customer service learn to read and respond to my un-answered emails which I sent to your customer service instead of lip service

I can't speak to the aluminum or leather wallets they make, but I was very impressed with my carbon fiber cardholder. My wife got it for me as a birthday gift, and I loved the way it looked, felt, and worked. It served me well for several years with no major wear or malfunctions. I was always secretly suspicious that it wasn't real carbon fiber, but I was proven wrong recently when my teenage german shepherd got ahold of it when I wasn't in the room. The plastic ejection mechanism did not survive, but that was absolutely real carbon fiber, and it protected my cards from his chewing for a solid 20 minutes. I was so impressed that I sent a picture of the aftermath and my thanks to their customer support email. They were kind enough to send me a discount code to help with upgrading to the new carbon fiber cardholder pro. Very impressed with this company, and I firmly believe they make the best compact cardholders out there.

Got the Ekster Wallet Pro. The cardholder mechanism is good quality, but the "leather" quality is laughably poor. After two months of regular use, the leather is completely ruined. Absolute waste of money.

I really enjoy the wallet after a decade of using a binder clip. After several years, the mechanism got sticky and was not functioning properly and Ekster customer service was incredibly responsive in reviewing my issue and resolving the problem. This is clearly a company that values quality, product longevity, and customer service.

Not sure why all the reviews are so high to be honest.
I’ve just bought the ‘Pro’ version and at over £70 for the wallet, when you turn it upside down and give it just one hard shake, the cards fall out about half way (I have 5 cards inside).
Additionally I do not find the mechanism at all smooth when you press the button at the bottom. It sounds like it’s grinding to push the cards out.
Quite disappointed really considering this wallet was so expensive.
I also have a VERY similar wallet (the Code 118 wallet) which is cheaper -this one does NOT drop the cards when you shake it so I will be sticking with that one….

Not top quality. Although company has replaced broken wallets on two occassions, the thumb mechanism breaks within a year despite normal use.
I purchased the key case as an add on and the material ripped and frayed in less than three months. Battery on the tracker must have been old and died within 3 weeks.
I also purchased the embossed feature to put my phone number on the wallet but it looks nothing like the demo online. Faded and basically unable to read in less than 2 months.

Great product! I love my wallet, customer service is excellent. I had an issue with the mechanism tha pops the cards out and Ekster sent me a replacement right away.

I love my wallet. I really don’t like regular wallets because they’re too big and bulky so this wallet is perfect for me. I’ve had it for about four years now but recently the mechanism broke so I contacted customer support showed them that it was no longer working and they’re sending me a replacement no questions asked easiest warranty claim ever.

I bought a pro wallet and it can only hold 5 to 6 cards if not the mechanism doesn’t work
I contacted the company and apparently you need to buy xtra !
Wrongly described and advertised
