Their insulated bags are heavy without…

Their insulated bags are heavy without putting anything in them. They don’t do exchange or refunds, only store credits. They advertise parcel protection but they don’t include with that the warning that if you select it it’s not eligible for return. I selected it and paid extra with the view it would simply have extra protection so as not to be somehow damaged in transit and on opening.

Faulty Products and Bad Customer Service

Avoid this company. We bought the convertible tote backpack. The strap fell apart on the initial bag. When the replacement bag arrived we realised that the handle hadn't been fastened to the bag! When we asked for a refund, they applied a 10% discount to the refunded amount. The clearly haven't ironed out quality control checks yet and, of greater concern, they don't know how to treat customers who have already had a bad experience. Top tip - give them the full refund!

Exceptional Customer Service

I have previously had 3 Ela and Earth bags, starting with the water bottle bag, then the lunch bucket bag, then the medium odyssey tote. I haven’t had any issues. The bags have been great. Exactly as shown and advertised. And haven’t worn. They’re still in great shape. Durable:

However I purchased a different bag just before Christmas that I recently noticed a fault on it. Faults happen with any product from time to time. That’s just manufacturing. The customer service from Ela and Earth though, exceptional!! They emailed back within 24 hours with options for a resolution, and my replacement bag was sent out within 24 hours of me sending the faulted item back.

I chose to have the bag replaced with the same bag. I liked the bag, and it was quality. Plus their customer service gives me great confidence in their company.

Very heavy and bulky shocking customer service

I ordered the travel tote bag. It’s very heavy and bulky especially if you really want it as a travel bag. I sent it back immediately . Applied for a refund. They have refused. I asked them what happens to the money do they just keep it and they refused to respond. Shocking customer service. Buyer beware. Don’t buy as a traveling bag

lack of response and no resolution

After being a customer for a few years now and purchasing numerous different items. I was initially happy with the product and recommending them to family and friends. I emailed customer service to try to resolve a manufacturing fault in my water bottle (rust). I followed their suggestions and with no improvement asked how they would help me resolve the matter. From this point they stopped communicating with me. I tried 3 times to follow up only to be ignored. I did not receive a response. Will not buy from them again.

Long-lasting quality with minor wear from daily use

I purchased from Ela & Earth a while ago and have been using the Odyssey Insulated Tote Bag for work since last year. Up until now I’ve had no issues at all – the bag looks and feels amazing and is made with quality materials. I do think the overall experience depends on what product you purchase, but mine has been great.

The only issue I’ve had is that the stitching has torn slightly on the side bottle pouch. This is honestly not really the brand’s fault, as I use a 1L Frank Green bottle with a silicone base, which makes it quite hard to slide in and out. I can confirm it does fit though!

I also work in childcare and one of the children at my centre owns an Arlo Backpack from Ela & Earth, which is really lovely to see. It makes me happy to see this company growing and doing well. Overall, I’m still very happy with my purchase. ☺️

Poor customer service and crap quality

Purchased a bottle in 2023 and love it. Convinced my partner to buy one this year and within less than 4 months, the rubber stopper in the top of the bottle (that helps with airflow with the straw) came out without us noticing and now theres a hole where liquid can come out. The bottle was 2 and a half weeks outside the 3 month warranty and they refused to offer anything. A $60 bottle should last longer than 3 or 4 months. Whilst i love the bottle i have, you run the risk of getting a dodgey one and no cares about product quality outside a 3 month warranty.

Tote Bag & Pouch Set - Cheap Bling

Bought a large Tote Bag & Pouch Set [Large] but disappointing. It only just fits my laptop, despite me measuring the size and overall the bag looks a lot cheaper than on their website. I have to remove the dongles from my laptop to make it fit so it’s just a hassle. Asked if I could return as it’s not really fit for purpose but they said “no”. Would not recommend, unless you like cheap looking bling.
