The training was impactful, and I was led to believe that it came with the possibility of job placement. In this area, Joshua Jarvis has done a great job of getting me on a project with electrical companies. I am very grateful to him for this.
I’m really happy with the support I received from Elec Training, especially from Josh. He was incredibly helpful and managed to find me employment with a private company within just 4 days.
The whole process was much easier than I expected. The hardest thing I had to do was provide my CV, then Josh and the team took care of everthing else.
I honestly didn’t think it would be this easy to find an opportunity and start gaining real work experience. Reading other peoples reviews made me chose elec training so I’m here to recommend elect training to anyone deciding if to go with them.

Elec training helped me find work within one week and I am happy with the firm I’m working for

The way they explain everything before getting admission is great .

I've just done my Level 2(2365) Fantastic experience from day one. Knowledgeable instructors who care about student success, and a solid focus on safety and real-world application. Mr Mark and Laethian (instructors) been really great, taught us practical implications in such a simple way that I couldn't believe I would be that confident about electric work in four weeks. Highly recommend to anyone looking to start a career as an electrician!

Had an amazing time training at Elec, Josh was very considerate and helpful when to helping me get a job as well with my situation coming in to get my training done he made the time to see what he could do too help out. Mark the trainer was very friendly and made all the work and process very easy to learn and remember. On a whole I would recommend learning here for purely just for the sake of it’s amazing staff but the quality of the training was definitely top notch.

I signed up with elec-training in December 2025, the person who signed me up told me they would find me a permanent job for 30K a year, within a couple of months. I still have the texts.
Almost 8 months later I have no job offers despite trying myself as well. The recruitment team are now trying to sign me up with agencies and get me temp work, which I can and have been doing myself. I get the odd message from recruitment if I contact them, they say 'we've given your details to someone you should hear back today', and I hear nothing from anyone. The recruitment team also put my original CV into ChatGPT and produced a really bad version of it that I've since had looked at by another recruitment professional and I've since redesigned, I won't be using the ChatGPT CV it's really not good. Can't fault the recruitment people themselves they are nice lads but the job finding service is no good for me. I needed the help to get a job as I've been trying myself after completing college (I completed my level 2 and 3 at night college, I also have my 18th edition) but had no luck at all.
Just really unimpressed with the overpromise by this company. If you live in Wolverhampton maybe they're really good but they don't seem to have the connections they said they did further north.
I've sent a complaint in almost 2 weeks ago now and heard nothing. The tutor I've been assigned has also escalated the matter on the same date but still nothing. I've escalated through the payitmonthly company today as it is really not acceptable what's going on. I do feel a bit scammed, although I know they're a legit company.
Liam was great throughout, from enrolment onto the NVQ to finding me work which I am enjoying as well as gaining valuable experience for my portfolio. Very helpful and always made me feel at ease through every step of the process, couldn't recommend him and Elec Training enough!

I purchased the NVQ with the work placement guarantee with this company. I am pleased to say that they are able to secure work placement from their impressive network of contacts. From the first day they shared my CV with the recruitment team and got the ball rolling.

My experience with Elec training has been excellent from the start, the support from the tutors has given me a direction. I would definitely recommend them to anyone starting in the industry.

Have been with the college less than a fortnight and they have already found me local work like I requested

Elec training are the only training provider who offer a guaranteed work placement with NVQ. Liam got me one on a public sector project soon after enrolling. I have now started working full time. I’ll keep going, aiming to get qualified and competent over time. It’s also good for me to be self employed as I am someone who likes to take initiative. Site work on new build sites is exactly where I want to be and where I want to continue.

Excellent, caring, facilitating and focused company with fantastic and helpful staff. Left my details on their website, Steven called back, we spoke about the Electrical Level 3 NVQ. Told him I needed a job first that allowed me to complete it, he said they could definitely assist and somone would call me... wasn't expecting much but Liam from the recruitment team then called me, told me they could definitely find something given my experience and area and their contacts. Started receiving calls the same day, working in a self employed position with one of Liam's clients now. Looking to start the NVQ in the next month. Very impressed, have already recommended to others.

Don't recommend. Over the phone they promised a guaranteed job but in reality you have to do most of the work to get the job also it's been over a year and I still haven't received my level 2 qualification certificate. Another thing is I don't think going through a fast track course is a good idea, super stressful. You have to do a 1 year course in 6 weeks. It took me 8 weeks to complete but still stressful.
I had completed my level 3 diploma at college and couldn’t find work for my nvq or an apprenticeship, I came to elec training and they have been able to help with getting work, which I’ll be starting soon and can then progress through my level 3 nvq. Very helpful and would still be stuck without them.

Just completed my Level 2 City & Guilds Diploma in Electrical Installation at Elec Training and it has been a fantastic course. My tutors Mark and Laethian were absolutely brilliant. With nearly forty years experience in the trade between them it felt like a masterclass. It was challenging at times but they were always on hand to help and their attention to detail set a high standard of workmanship to prepare us for the real world and on-site work. I can't thank them enough for this great start to my new career. I highly recommend this course and happily give it five stars!!

On September 2025, I came to elec training college to ragester for nvq. I paid some amount of money, but still, placement did not happen. I met a few people they paid the fee for nvq but work placement elec training granted did not happen. Now I have complained to court. Wasted one year of my time .
