Contacted them about a ENGWE engine pro…
Contacted them about a ENGWE engine pro folding e-bike, they seemed very keen to assist, the guy on the phone offered a lot of information, he was very friendly and polite, he offered cycle scheme and the ability to pay by instalments. He was honest about the pros and cons of this particular product. I think they have a genuine mission out there. Would recommend without hesitation.

Avoid At All Costs!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Avoid at all cost. Will not answer phone to you after u have paid. Over 3 weeks to get me money back after paying for an item. I paid then was told wrong price on website. Held on to my money for 3 weeks. Avoid unless u love headache.

Your payment was made through PayPal, and unfortunately PayPal placed a temporary hold on the funds, which prevented us from processing the order immediately. This delay was entirely external to Electrek.uk and outside of our control.

As soon as PayPal released the funds back to you, the refund was completed on our end. We understand how inconvenient these delays can be, and we apologise for the frustration caused.

Regarding the pricing issue: once we noticed the incorrect price displayed on our website, we informed you immediately rather than processing an order at the wrong rate. Transparency is something we take seriously, even when it means disappointing a customer.

We never intentionally withhold funds, and we always respond through the channels connected to the order. If you ever have concerns, we’re always happy to help via email or our website support system.

Do not go near this company!

Worst company I've ever dealt with! I ordered a bike from them and on their website it stated it'd arrive within 2-3 days, I contacted them Via their whatsapp number for an update/tracking details to be told I'd get them on the Friday that was already 3 days after the purchase (they refused to give any tracking details) , I'd explained I'd ordered from them purely because the delivery date was supposed to be 2-3 days. I emailed and asked for a refund as they wasn't providing the service they'd advertised and got rude emails back from their so called customer service telling me I need 're-parenting' stated that they 'provide excellent service but I wasn't included in that' and after I'd said ill report the company they tried to blackmail be by saying if I do that they'll not refund my money! If I was allowed to upload screen shots I'd show you exactly what kind of service this company provides.

Your order was placed during a period of unusually high demand, and the dispatch timeframe was explained to you clearly when you contacted us via WhatsApp. At no point did we refuse to provide tracking details—tracking information becomes available only after an item has been processed and collected by the courier. We simply did not have the tracking number yet at the time of your request.

When you asked to cancel the order, we began the refund process immediately. Any suggestion that we threatened to withhold your refund or “blackmail” you is not accurate. Your refund was issued in line with our normal cancellation policy.

Regarding the comments you mentioned: we maintain records of all communication, and we can confirm that no such language was used by our team. We take customer service extremely seriously, and we would never address a customer in the manner described. If you have screenshots, you are welcome to share them directly with us so we can review them properly.

You don't get a warranty....£1'450 for…

You don't get a warranty....£1'450 for a bike with burst oil brakes... And broken parts... I was told to video anything broken and to send a video... Nothing still nothing... I HAVE A VERY EXPENSIVE bike that I cannot use and it's over 2 months basically just sitting there doing nothing.... The company take the money and DO NOT honour the warranty... So if you buy pray it is not damaged when you get it... On saying that if it fails in the 12 warranty period.... Your on your own there is better elsewhere... Your choice....

Rude Customer experience

I asked a few questions regarding their Engwe ebike range as I could not locate the information from their website so decided to contact them via chat on WhatsApp (their WhatsApp number was 07341 152 082)
After the unhelpful answers he gave which seemed like he was unsure himself I then advised that it may not be suitable option for what I looked needed.
What I received in response from their customer services department via WhatsApp at Electrek.uk to
1. "G3t a l!fe!" - lol.
2. Good, G0 s0mewhre 3lse then
3. We are n0t !nterested in your cust0m.

Just to let people out their about their level of customer service, & if Trustpilot allowed attachments I have screenshots of the conversation.
