Great product great company

I have used this company twice, first time was for two very large modern chandeliers plus a smaller one and the second order was for an additional small light fitting.
Excellent service, items well packaged. I ordered the wrong light bulbs and there was no problem in exchanging them for the correct bulbs. Will certainly use them again. Very helpful people.

Very fast delivery . I was not sure about the quality of the fitting when I first opened the box - as it had been folded for transit/packing and seemed to no longer hang straight. However I brought in an electrician to fit the light for me and her sorted that out without complaint or issue . One lightbulb - 5 of which were ordered with the fitting, was faulty and after emailing the company I had a call within the same day confirming they would send a replacement immediately. Great service and I woudl definitely recommend this company.

Ordered Grolux aquarium tubes 23rd April 2015 in stock 2-3 days delivery money taken stright away via sage pay from my credit card still awaiting delivery on 2nd May (order shows as processing) web site checked tubes still shown as in stock.Not impressed with them at this stage.

The service was very good, however had some difficulties with the website, possibly as I'm running a slightly outdated browser. Also the delivery time given at the time of ordering was 2 days. It was about 4 days before I received an Email saying the order was dispatched, which did raise concerns. Besides this, all was good and would use again!

I received prompt responses to my email enquiries about various different products. Once I had placed the order, the goods were delivered very promptly.

I contacted the retailer prior to purchasing and they were extremely helpful with their advice. When the goods arrived (package well and in good time) I was very pleased with the quality of the products. All up, a great retailer with a large product range at good prices.

Before I found their website I was confused by all the latest lighting products. In particular LED lighting and lamps.
I was pleased to place an order which was dispatched speedily, and the items have all been successfully installed.
Based on my experience I would recommend Electricsandlighting to anyone.

I have rung the help line with loads of questions about LED lights and always get informed and patient answers. My orders have always been handled quickly and arrived promptly. Any changes I have wanted have been accomodated eg different bulbs to those supplied with the product.

Fragile light fitting (including two fluorescent tubes) delivered quickly and safely, well packed in a box inside a larger box surrounded by air pillows. Item has some poor design features but no reflection on Electrics and Lighting.

I needed to replace a faulty light fitting as part of a set of 5. Ablelectrics didn't stock the item but we're able to order one and at a good price. The item was picked up at their store and the whole process was handled very well.

Looked for item on Google and found it on this site.

I found the staff very helpful on the phone. They answered my questions in clear terms and gave me confidence to buy the light fittings that I had seen on the web.
The goods arrived within a few days in good condition.
My lights are now installed and look stylish and give the performance I was looking for. I will continue to use this company as the prices are competitive and the delivery service excellent. If you are in doubt, I recommend you give them a try.

I have used ElectricsandLighting for inside and outside lights. I am a homeowner - I'm not in the trade but have been all over Bristol looking at options. Their range has to be the most extensive (see the website) - and visiting the shop on Gloucester Road is a pleasant surprise - it's a Tardis in there! The best thing is a free returns policy so you can order and take back if it doesn't look right. Nice people to deal with - would go back again.

My wife and I visited the shop to decide on our ligghts.
We had excelent advice and service.
Only glitch is the wiring within the lights. We were expecting a normal tulip set up. But the company in neatherlands had only used 3to chocolate box conectors. Bit of a shame as it's not as neat as I'd have likes. But we will manage.

All members of staff I have spoken to have been very kind to an older customer who is not sure exactly what she needs to purchase!

The order arrived very well protected and items were exactly as described and undamaged.

The only regrettable thing was that the Royal Mail took ten days to deliver! This should have taken only 2/3 working days at the outside.
