Really, really bad. The item ordered was shocking quality (cheap material, badly made). I returned it and still waiting for a refund, 4 months later. Avoid.

Unfortunately, I did not check the reviews for this company before I ordered a pair of men’s suede shoes. Had I done so, I would have realised it is a scam. Shoes arrived today, over two weeks after ordering. They are a joke. The very worst quality you could imagine. Not worth a pound, never mind the 60 pounds I paid.

This company is a scam. They didn’t even send the item and had no intention of doing so. They are based in Hong Kong and can seem to keep getting away with scamming people. Luckily my bank was able to reimburse me. Please avoid!

Gutted I had to give 1 star! £78 man’s blazer - what arrived was ridiculous!

I paid to return and still to this day months later no refund!!! It’s sat in customs waiting for them to collect!

Awful quality sent clothes back and waiting for my refund. It’s been almost two months now!

Do not touch them with a barge pole. I ordered sandals on 30th April, waited 2 weeks for them to arrive. They were damaged, asked for photos which were sent, told me they couldn't open the pics so instead of sending a replacement pair (in accordance with their Returns Policy) could offer me the option of paying a fortune to return them to China (I thought they were based in the Netherlands) or accept a 75% voucher. I felt I had no option other than to accept the voucher which also meant that I had to pay an additional £9.50 for the sandals! The voucher didn't work and had a short time span to use. I tried repeatedly, them had to send screenshots. All of this has gone on since May 15th. No sandals, just a ton of time-wasting stress and hassle. Reading other reviews, this tactic of the voucher code is pure dishonesty on their part as the code NEVER works, you just spend more time trying to use it. Refusal to offer refund even after all this so had to file a dispute with my card company. I've also noticed that the order details disappear from their website. They seem like a very dodgy, deliberately dishonest and wholly untrustworthy trader who should be banned. I truly regret ever ordering from them.

Purchased red sandals described as orthopaedic. I believe this is a false claim. Be sure to check returns policy as goods go back to China at purchasers' expense, whilst the company is based in the Netherlands.

Elegance-Urban advertised a pair of trousers made of wool blend for £45.
I ordered the pair of trousers in late April 2025. A pair of trousers was sent after a wait in May 2025; made of mainly polyester and small percentage of viscose, no wool at all. Only a small inside tag in the trousers showed in Chinese the fabric.
I needed to look for somebody who knew Chinese to translate.
I contacted this business which is in China, complained and asked for the correct wool trousers I paid for.
The staff tried to allege that the trousers were made of wool. I sent a photo of the tag in Chinese confirming the polyester synthetic fabric.
He tried to offer refunding the price as a voucher to buy something else from their business. I informed him that I did not trust their business in China and I am not going to deal with their business.
He said he was going back to his people to correct this and confirmed that I had the right to receive the wool trousers as ordered.
He disappeared for the last 2 weeks. I sent an email without reply.
This is to name and shame such untrusted business in China.

Poor quality garments.

Stay away from this company when goods arrive very shoddy and very cheap materials used. Cannot return as you have to pay to send back to China. Complete waste of money.

GARMENTS DELIVERED WERE DEFINITELY NOT AS ORDERED. ON DATE OF DELIVERY I IMMEDIATELY CONTACTED THE COMPANY FOR REFUND, THIS WAS REFUSED UNLESS I RETURNED THE ITEMS AT MY EXPENSE TO CHINA!
MANY EMAILS TO THE COMPANY, MANY REFUSALS TO REFUND, AM CONTACTING THE TRADING STANDARDS OFFICE.

I bought 2 bikinis from this company they were not the colours I had ordered and poor quality….i emailed them asking how to return them and was told that my order was in a half price sale so they would not refund me….this was not the case as with postage I paid over £54 and there was no sale on at the time of purchase
Do Not buy from these people they are scammers….take your money and won’t refund you…..I have sent several emails since and I’ve got no reply

I am experiencing a very long delay in getting a refund from Elegance Urban. At the end of April I ordered a “cotton mix” xl jacket online costing around £45, it arrived fairly quickly on 7th May but was made of polyester/nylon with xl size on the label and only measured around a small/medium by uk/Europe standards. I contacted the company and arranged to have it returned immediately using Royal Mail and carefully filled in the relevant paperwork with my Post Offices help, I also took a photo of the item on the counter. That’s when big problems started, firstly under their rules I had to pay more than £20 to post it back to China, tracked. It arrived on 11th May and has since been held, apparently, marked on the tracker as pending, by Chinese customs for nearly a month! I have very little confidence that any monies will ever be refunded after this period of time. China Customs seems to be helping the company trouser their ill gotten gain! Reminders to the company get quick apologetic responses but no real help in getting my refund even after I requested a goodwill payment. I’m more than £65 out of pocket and my advice would be avoid this company at all costs. I will be informing UK Trading standards but doubt they can intervene as the purchase was made by gullable me online !

Item returned stuck in china customs for months on end no refund

The garment arrived, very poor quality, cheap fabric, did not fit well. I wanted to return for a full refund, was happy to pay p&p. After MANY emails I was told that because the item was on sale they would not offer me a refund. I am still pursuing my claim. I advise anyone to avoid this company. You will not receive a refund only a voucher to buy more clothes. Very unscrupulous company

I bought two dresses from this website which did not match the description/specifications at all. Instant red flag was when the items arrived and they had no tags, branding or labels and was packed unprofessionally. The material was laughable as to how cheap it was. I questioned this however the response back was a pathetic excuse and again, laughable.

The items took ages to be delivered to only find out that they’re coming from China! I requested a refunded of which they advised I would need to pay shipping (back to China) despite the website saying ‘free returns’ or I could have 75% of the total price I paid in store credit…yeah right!
It was only when I read previous reviews where someone posted about contacting their bank and raising a dispute. Thanks that review I found now managed to get my money back.

This company has increased its rating by a whole point by writing dozens of fake reviews over the past few days.
I hope nobody else has been defrauded as a result.
Trustpilot need to ban elegance urban from using their platform for fake propaganda.
