Perfect shoes for my perfect day with great customer service!!

I just wanted to say a massive thank you for everything you did for me, not sure if you remember me but I am the bride that didn't realise she had the wrong size shoes until a couple of weeks before the wedding despite having them for neatly a year!!! I know, I don't know what happened here either:-). I contacted you and you explained the situation to you and it was no issue for you at all, you advised what I needed to do and what you would do. A couple of days before the wedding I started to get a little nervous and you were great, you sent the shoes our by recorded delivery and made me aware when the post office had tried to deliver them as I wasn't in, and guess what I got them in time. I can't thank you enough for your customer service and going that extra mile for me. As for the shoes, they were just perfect.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend you

Thanks

Swept off my feet by the fabulous service making buying my wedding shoes almost as memorable as buying my dress!!!

Ok so when my chief bridesmaid told me she was taking me to a wedding shoe warehouse I didn't know what to expect. After looking through the well presented website I started to get a little excited by the sheer quantity of shoes this place had to choose from and being particularly fussy about shoes (comfort kinda girl with uber sensitive feet) I hoped I'd find 'just the right heel' that would see me gliding down the isle as well as strutting on the dance floor. So we set the date, Saturday 21st September 2013...shoe shopping day!!! Living in Manchester its not a particularly long drive to the shop and with amble parking we had absolutely no problem getting there. So here's the bit that really impressed.... walking through the door and being greeted by an beautiful display of ivory, white, diamante, satin, silk (you name it they got it) shoes in a pristine shop....WOW! We were greeted by Sophie who, armed with a clipboard and pen, explained how the shop 'worked'....each shoe had on its sole the brand name, model name, price and sizes available, simply make a note of the shoes you like the look of on the form and then she would disappear into the warehouse and return with stacks of shoe boxes. My chief bridesmaid became chief form filler and off we went. I must of chosen 10 different pairs and confidently gave my shoe size (5).Off Sophie went and returned with the shoes and it soon became apparent that I was in fact a size 4 or 4 1/2 or 5 with a insole - this didn't phase Sophie at all, nothing was too much trouble and off she went to get the correct sizes/accessories that I needed. After much deliberating I narrowed it down to 2 pairs both of which I absolutely loved. By now Chief was flagging, tummys were grumbling and I suddenly realised the butterflies in my stomach was actually my bladder screaming. So we suggested that we went away had some lunch and returned later that afternoon to make a decision............. Being the typical 'I want everything to be perfect' Bride on our return I asked for a new clip board and proceeded to select another 15+ shoes to try on and there was Sophie again more than happy to help. She had also kept the 2 pairs of shoes I'd previously narrowed down to till last for me to make the comparisons.....25+ pairs of shoes and approx 4 hours since I first arrived at the shop I narrowed my search again down to the original 2 pairs of shoes.... Sophie was on hand to offer practical, non pushy advice, about the advantages/disadvantages of both pairs. After a further 20 mins parading round the shop to check comfort levels I chose the very first shoes I tried on....typical.... Absolutely fabulous experience. The shop caters for all budgets, and truth be told the lower priced shoes didn't disappoint on quality. There was no pushy sales patter but friendly help throughout the whole day. I would recommend Elegant Shoes to any bride :)

Fab wedding shoes

I ordered the Benjamin Adams Rhiana shoes for my wedding in July. They were absolutely beautiful and everyone loved them. I have just received them back after having them dyed black so I could wear them again and again. I am over the moon with the results and they only took a week to do. I would recommend anyone to Elegant Steps

Professional, personal 1st class service!

As a previous customer I have no hesitation in recommending Elegant Steps. Their shoe selection covers all styles and budgets. You are given a first class service - whatever your budget. The staff are very knowledgable in style and trends are so helpful in guiding you to what the best fit for your dress style would be.
It is for these reasons in my profession as a wedding planner, I now happily and willingly recommend Elegant Steps to my own brides! Best in the business without a doubt.

Excellent service, beautiful shoes.

I've used Elegant Steps several times, and have sent family and friends there too. We've all been impressed by the range of shoes, helpfulness of staff, and also by the shoe-dyeing service, which is always outstanding.

The ONLY place to go for that perfect fit!

I first came to Elegant Steps to choose my wedding shoes and the staff expertly guided me towards the perfect pair of shoes. I've since been back to buy shoes for a couple of balls and a cruise and have always been impressed by their huge choice and professional service. You won't need to go anywhere else!

Not so elegant customer service

I was really pleased when I found shoes for my bridesmaid in the exact same colour as her dress and ordered them online.

I was really disappointed therefore to see that one had a big blob of glue on the top of the shoe. I called customer service, expecting an apology and the offer of an exchange, but to my amazement, they don't class blobs of glue as faults even though it was incredibly unsightly.

They then went on to point out that the shoe in question was in the sale, but as it wasn't advertised as a second that should have no bearing on the fact that they were unfit for purpose.

I was told I could return them for a full refund, BUT at my expense. So I'm £11 out of pocket on postage both ways and without a pair of shoes.

I'd never use Elegant Steps again - their customer service is just awful.
