Really rude beviour from the Oxford Branch! Not happy!!
I recently moved to the area from Southhampton and am in need of a job. So I approached my local law firm, which is here. Found the director of compliance online and connected. She was initially nice but now I wonder if it was real... And she suggested that I send my CV to her so she can add it to the 'talent pool'. A day later, I was about to send my CV only to realize that she blocked me. I'm not happy, I've never been made to feel so ashamed and used before in my life. To be filled with false hope, and then to get thrown aside is awful. I really need a job!
I wouldn't normally write a review, but for this unkind and cold behavior, I imagine working here wouldn't be any better, judging from their director of compliance's behavior - So I do not recommend it! When I asked how she worked up to her position, as I am aiming to get to that role too. She actually admitted to me in around about way, that the staff who work there are lazy and that's how she got promoted as the director!
Also, I have tried a few times in the past to write directly to them about this matter, and before my experience with the director of compliance, I even emailed them inquiring about jobs. But they NEVER reply!
