SCAM ALERT SCAM ALERT

SCAM ALERT SCAM ALERT

Received Cold Call from Dan of EES Elite Eco Services .. I thought I heard EDF initially so answered some questions.

EES Companies House no 13313411. 57 Southend Road, Grays, England, RM17 5NL

I suspect is sister company of Elite Eco Installations No 13529499, 57 Southend Road, Grays, England, RM17 5NL ALSO AND as Nakayi BUWU is director of both.

Dan stated my solar panels had ORIGINALLY paid for service checks. He said the original company had gone bust and that they were picking up the slack. He didn't know when the installation was done, NOR how many panels. Regretfully I told him date and count!

He stated that about 1/2 way through panels lives they have to be re-certified and forms completed and sent to NATIONAL GRID. By chance there is to be an engineer around tomorrow - what time should he be booked to call!

I was now suspicious. I asked for company phone number - I heard him ask for company number (but not the reply) I was given 07903 811133. Thats a mobile, "YES," for a company, "No problem - it will probably come through to me" - suspect it's Dan's own phone! HOW ODD HE NOR HIS ADVISOR knew the freephone number.

I asked for the company website - he did not know and the phone call dropped, BUT he did call back. He told me EliteEco services and that it would at top of google search.

I said I was not bothered about completing forms for National Grid and if I needed his help I would call back. Call ended.

I phoned National Grid - there is no continuing requirement to update them about PV installations.

This has all been a scam cold call exercise to get access to my home.
