Impeccable service and total peace of mind for night travel
We used this service both upon our arrival in London and for the return trip to the airport. Our outbound and return flights were both overnight, and we were concerned about possible issues with public transportation. For this reason, we booked the taxi in advance and had an excellent experience. The service was impeccable. Both drivers were kind and helpful. A one-hour journey in maximum comfort. Highly recommended.

Lovely driver but poor customer service from Elite
I booked via Airport Taxi Transfers and was assigned Elite.
The actual booking process was easy although they initially tried to pick me up a month early!
My driver was absolutely lovely it, but my experience with Elite was dreadful.
There was an issue with the baggage delivery at Heathrow when I landed, which is never fun after a long flight. No explanation was given but it seemed to be affecting multiple flights in T5. The bags were being delivered, but in very small and slow batches.
I was called 4 times during my wait, the fourth being to tell me I had exceeded the allowable waiting time. Each call was increasing my stress levels which were probably just high as I hadn’t slept.
I have no issue with policies around waiting times and the need to pay more if they are exceeded, but those should be sent as part of the booking confirmation rather than over phone during a bad time.
I do have an issue with the clock starting at the time the flight lands - taxi companies need to allow time for disembarking / customs and baggage collection before their 1 hour wait time starts.
Tired customers should not be harassed continually while they wait for their bags to arrive - the timing of which they have zero control over.
I subsequently discovered that my driver had been booked for another ride after mine and that was likely the cause of me being harassed as that pick up would certainly have been late.
Overall, a deeply unpleasant experience.

As outlined in our booking terms, we provide 1 hour of free waiting time after the flight landing time. According to our records, the total waiting time in this case was approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes. Once the free waiting time had elapsed, our customer support team sent text messages to inform you that additional waiting time and car park charges would apply and to ask whether you wished us to continue holding the driver. Unfortunately, we did not receive a response to these messages.
Due to the lack of confirmation, our team made follow-up calls to ensure clarity and to avoid any misunderstanding, as holding a driver without confirmation can impact both the driver and other scheduled bookings. The intention of these calls was not to cause stress, but to confirm whether you wished to proceed and accept the additional charges.
We fully understand that baggage delays are frustrating and beyond a passenger’s control, and we are sorry for the inconvenience caused. However, our waiting time policy is applied consistently and starts from the flight landing time, as stated in our terms.
We respect your opinion and understand your disappointment. While we regret that your experience did not meet expectations, we must also follow our operational procedures. Your feedback has been noted and will be reviewed to see how we can communicate policies more clearly and sensitively in such situations.
