I’m new to buying conceptual art. Art that needs explanation. I’m a creative photographer and radio show host and love artistry, so when I met Mal from Elizabeth Xi Bauer it must have been fate. He took me along to the gallery to see his artists’ work and meet his colleagues.

I was blown away.

He really went into the history of the artist’s work that was currently hanging. His extensive knowledge of each artist’s life story, where they studied, exhibited in the past and where next, but more importantly his knowledge of each piece of work was immensely thorough.

I’ve bought 3 separate artist’s work so far.

I’m very grateful to Mal and his teammates. They are all very warm and I’m humbled to have met them all.

Visited the gallery with my partner to see a recently purchased piece. Antonio had his work on display which was really nice to see up close.
Farz showed us around and went out of his way to accommodate us, great relaxed environment, really down to earth and people you can trust when looking to invest in art.

Farz is very personable, he helped me work through all my questions and concerns about being a first time investor. Ask me in 2 years about the investment. I am happy to refer Farz to family and friends.

Don’t normally leave reviews but felt compelled to do so because of the excellent experience working with Chelsey at Elizabeth Xi Bauer. As someone with very little expertise in art I find Chelsey extremely knowledgeable about the available art and the artists of which there are some notable up and coming options. Chelsey was also very patient, guiding me through the process and going the extra mile to provide lots of information to aid my decisions which I really appreciated as it has also allowed me to learn along the way. The gallery admin is very slick and I highly recommend the gallery and Chelsey in particular and will definitely be a returning customer. Thank you!

We very much enjoyed the recent exhibition held by Elizabeth Xi Bauer of two interesting and talented young artists at their gallery in South London. I particularly enjoyed the work of Theodore Ereira-Guyer's brilliant etchings sewn onto silk hanging in the gallery space. We had a lovely long, very informative chat with John about the art market today, and the two artists exhibiting. All the staff were extremely friendly and I noticed the crowd attending was a lovely diverse bunch spanning all age groups. My only small complaint was the gallery was a small space for what was clearly a popular event. I'm sure EXB will expand their space if their events continue to be as popular as this one. We will be staying tuned for the next one!
