Fraudulent advertising, product was cheaply made and way too big. Not worth trying to return. In future I will only deal with a company I know.

What I ordered turned up today after a very long wait, happy with what I bought.

SCAM SCAM SCAM

They created a fake facebook post saying they were stopping selling footwear implying they were AN AUSTRALIAN small business manufacturing premium handmade goods but were going out of business. There was no cancellation link in the website which they said existed
IT'S A SCAM

Totally professional scam

Totally professional scam. No red flags until I got the Paypal payment advice and insead of my payment going to "Ella Tasmania" it went to someone written in Chinese characters. I alerted Paypal before the transaction was completed but PayPal allowed my $330 to go to the scammer. I also gave payPal screenshots of the fake closing down sale of "EllaTasmania" the Australian manufacturer of quality leather goods. I think Paypal should protects their customers more promptly when good evidence is provided of an obvious scam. Also very disappointed with Facebook [Fakebook?] for allowing these scammers to put up so many fake adverts.

Fraud

I'm sorry for everyone that has been scammed. I had the ad pop up and thought I'd do some research. The website has only been around for two months and no history in Tasmania in any way. Total fraud.

Poor quality and not as locally-based as suggested!!

Worst quality of product I've ever ordered through any online store.
Website suggests highest of quality, but reality is far from it - thinner than tissue paper and unlikely to even last a wash!
Items are no use to me and I wouldn't even gift them to a friend or family. Have commenced the returns process to a warehouse in China. Products cost me $205 (plus return cost of $56.20), parcel made it to customs 13 days ago. I am left wondering whether the returns address even exists :(

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.

I wish I'd read these reviews before I stupidly trusted a business claiming to be locally-based.

Cheap China rip off

I ordered a dress thinking I was getting a quality garment due to the price and them stating they were a family Tasmanian business , then noticed when it took ages to arrive that it was coming from China , the dress was such poor quality and crappy fabric , terrible fit , no way worth the price , more like a $8 dress from Temu . Do not buy from this scam company ! They make it very hard to get a refund which I never received. They sell under multiple Australian city named boutiques on fb .

SCAM - NOT AUSTRALIAN COMPANY

Do not buy from this company. They are not Australian Owned or Made in Australia as they say, they come from China. Requested Refund and all they would give me is $46.97 out of the $234.85 purchased, this is not good enough. They are scammers and the sooner this website is shutdown the better. The shoes were cheap and not even the correct size. No ABN should have checked before purchasing also have advised Facebook of the false ad. Have put in a complaint to the ACCC regarding their trading and fake website.

BUYER BEWARE

BUYER BEWARE! This is definitely a scam website! I purchased two dresses from a supposedly family owned local Tasmanian business. The goods come directly from China and are 100% inferior quality! Think Temu but 10x the price. The 100%Linen dress I ordered arrived and was 100% polyester. When I emailed and complained I was advised I could return them to China at my own cost for a refund but if they had to pay tax on the parcel once it arrived in China no refund! So I paid $150 and received a refund of $44.92 and I got to keep the two unwearable dresses! Please save your money and spend it at a locally owned business.

Ella Tasmania is a scam.

This company is a scam using the word Tasmania in their title, making like they are an Australian company, when in fact, they don't have an ABN and they are a Chinese company, ripping people off.

Beware! Not Tasmanian, dodgy goods

Beware! Not a Tasmanian own company but owned in China. Very misleading website, cheap nasty goods. The bags I received horrible and plastic. Trying to return them and they are offering 30% refund and I have to send bags to China. Very dodgy! Stay away!

They are not Australia made

They are not Australia made, come from China, items do not match the photo on the web page. Very disappointing. Started that they were hand made in their shop, items received are mass produced cheap and nasty.
