To buy a little blindly
It's now acceptable, but you'd purchase a lot more if they cared to identify the sizes of all the garments; you have to buy a little blindly. Everyone else has a sizing chart or a description in centimetres, but Ellos does not.

Beware of the Elpy payment option
Update from the response from Nick at Ellos - I didn't select Elpy and wasn't given that option. I entered my credit card information under Betalingsmåde but was still processed as an Elpy payment without my knowledge. What I am saying is that there isn't an option to choose or not choose Elpy. Please contact me via email from my purchase order account to discuss more in detail.
I was very surprised to learn of an additional fee I felt was secretly added to my last order. When I purchased items, I entered my credit card information, selected the delivery location and thought that was everything and that I paid in full. I kept an item and quickly returned the rest. I was then surprised to receive a bill in the post with a huge interest rate. When I called, I was told I "selected the Elpy payment plan option." I then tried a fake-order, and can't see where I selected anything. Elpy is automatic. Meaning you get changed an interest rate even if you meant to pay everything in total. It's very misleading. There is a purple bar on the screen that mentions "Del købet op med Elby," but I didn't click on anything. Nor did I see a place where I could unclick. I won't be shopping with Ellos again.

In your purchase, under payment method you have chosen elpy account, this will mean you have chosen a solution where you split your purchase, where there is interest + fee.
If you had chosen card under payment method, you would have avoided elpy completely.

They delivered against our will and we had to pay return fee
We wanted two lamps and they delivered 4. Before receiving them we called customer service but they said they cannot cancel the delivery because only the supplier can. So we had to receive all, unpack use the return label , pack and give it to postnord.
So the return is not free so we had to pay for it for each packet. It was not possible to make one delivery of two lamps. So two returns two times pay for return delivery fee. Not happy.

No customer support for horrible delivery
Ordered a pair of shoes from ellos.dk and was not able to choose a specific delivery address for a Naerboks or Posthuset. They ended up sending it to a Naerboks super far away and when I arrived there, the box did not work. Had to call PostNord and they agreed to bring it to another boks and get in touch with me. Apparently they ended up delivering it to a totally different address (a Posthuset), wherefore I dont have time to pick it up before the send-back date. Ellos customer service just said I have to contact PostNord myself, did not offer any support or apology. I get that it is just their shipping provider but a company should never put all burden onto the CUSTOMER.

We are sorry to hear about the inconvenience you experienced with the delivery of your shoes. Our system is set up in such a way that for new customers, PostNord's API selects the 5 nearest post offices based on the customer's postal code for security reasons.
We understand that the delivery address chosen for your shoes was not convenient for you and that the box did not work when you went to collect it. We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused. We would like to assure you that we take such incidents seriously and will investigate this matter further to ensure that such situations do not occur in the future.
Regarding the delivery being sent to a different address, we apologize for the confusion caused. We understand how frustrating it can be to not receive your package on time. We do rely on PostNord for our deliveries and their policies and procedures may differ from ours. However, we take full responsibility for this issue and we will do everything we can to ensure that this does not happen again.
Regarding the lack of support and apology from our customer service team, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service and it is disheartening to hear that we failed to meet your expectations in this regard.
