Fast website building with instant preview

I tried Elmony because I wanted something fast for building a site without overcomplicating it. What I like most is how the AI chat ties directly to the preview - I can request edits and immediately see the result, which makes the whole process feel way less frustrating.
Also love that you can publish to GitHub and Vercel with one click. Everything has been straightforward and smooth so far.

Very shady start

First of all you need to download a client which your operating system will tell you not to install. If that isnt beyond shady i dont know what is. Mac and Windows both need to drop security measures to install this tool.
Second of all you will need to connect you OWN api key to work with this aswell as install Node.js, just in case the first point didnt feel shady enough.

Now i installed it on a vm but i am not sure what i really paid for. You get a nice interface with things like "Publish", "Chat", "Security",..., that organize the workspace but besides that i am still looking for the benefit this tool will give me.
What i also think is very telling is the fact that to reach the "dashboard" you need to scroll to the very bottom of the page. That makes it feel like this is more about selling a product than having a good product people want to buy
I will continue to test but at the moment even the 20$ for a year plan feel wasted. Why my own API? Why do i need to install so much shady stuff when this could have all been on the website?
