Brahim Titafi was very social and patient. He supported me throughout the process by making sure I understood everything clearly. He also helped me discover another grant I didn’t know I was eligible for and guided me in filling out the form properly. His friendly attitude made the meeting feel more comfortable and welcoming.

This company may be doing ok but we would not really know. Our experience was that we signed up as they distributed to the hospital when we had our children. We have three with them. Since becoming embark (formerly heritage) they don’t return emails. They don’t check in they haven’t let us know what is happening for our three plans since 2017.
We have emailed and called them and they don’t return anything. I have no idea how we are doing as I can’t log in to anything. They are not worried about how we feel and as another review said, we have not had any customer service for 8 years.
We have no idea who our rep is. We have tried to contact them. I would not recommend. This should be easy for parents and not a struggle. They don’t have service as part of their model or they would have checked in and made sure. We got one call a year ago from someone saying embark and I called and left messages and got nothing back. They take the money out easy month but that’s about it. So be cautious, they may be doing well but again how would we know. Super frustrated. I think you can do better with someone else who cares about the experience. What will happen when we try to use what we have put in if we can’t contact them. We have some time yet but we should not have to worry about these things.

Milad provided outstanding service. I called to inquire about the RESP plan, and the first representative I spoke with gave a clear and detailed explanation, which convinced me to open an account over the phone. She then transferred me to Milad, who guided me through each step of the account setup process. He also explained which plan would be most suitable if I wanted to include additional family members. Overall, he was extremely helpful and supportive. I would gladly recommend Embark to my friends and family

Experience was amazing, Milad really took the time to talk with my partner and I to explain everything. He was straightforward and efficient with us while also being caring and understanding while we dealt with some technical difficulties and our newborn.

I have had a plan with this company (formally Heritage and then Knowledge First) since 2011. My former representative with KFF, Paula, was amazing. Ever since it became Embark it has been nothing but the worst stress. I cannot login, I cannot get an answer via email. I cannot access anyone on the phone. I have 4 children and a plan for each, and thousands upon thousands of money in RESPs invested so far. Not even being able to access my login makes me sick with worry. The minute I am able to reach a human I will withdraw and try to set up with our bank. My oldest enters high school this September and we’re supposed to be buckling down on saving for the next 4 years and this has been a nightmare to say the least. Im starting to believe that they are no longer a company worth trusting.

Very easy to setup and I felt very comfortable with the advisor Milad. It just so happened that when I got the call to finish my signup process my daughter had a blow out and I was also trying to find her SIN. We were laughing just about the whole time lol and was easy to call back after once we were all settled!

Been nothing but trouble since they took over the original company I wanted my child’s RESP for. There is no benefit to large companies taking over. Customer service becomes garbage and they quit caring about their clients. They’re pushy, and unhelpful. Now they want me to “activate” an online account but I already HAD an online account and they won’t accept the ID I have and I can’t log in to my old online account to update my phone number. This is the third time they have done this. Nothing but a hassle I am closing my account and I will recommend every parent and friend I know stick to RESP through their bank and not this scam of a company.

I'm extremely disappointed with the customer service experience. Or should I say, the lack of service. I've tried multiple times to get help with a simple issue, but it's been an exercise in futility.
Website runaround: The website is no better. It's a labyrinth of FAQs and help articles that don't address my specific problem. There's no clear way to submit a direct inquiry or chat with a live agent.
No email response: I even tried sending an email, and it's been days with no response. It's like my message vanished into a black hole. When finally got response, it was an automatic email replay including useless instructions that did not resolve my issue.
It's incredibly frustrating to be a customer with a legitimate issue and not be able to get any human assistance. This company clearly prioritizes cost-cutting over customer satisfaction. I'm seriously considering taking my business elsewhere. If you value your time and sanity, think twice before dealing with a company that makes it this difficult to get support.
