I was advised by another company that Ember fires supplied and fitted gas fires as their website also claims this. I called feeling positive that I had found somewhere that would supply and fit an LPG stove for me. However, an extremely rude and terse girl told me in no uncertain terms, that NO, they did not fit LPG stoves even though they sold them. I asked whether she could recommend someone who fits the stoves that they sell. No, she said. I'm sure someone more senior than that hapless woman would have had knowledge of a gas stove fitter but she couldn't be arsed to enquire. Why do companies employ such rude and unhelpful people?

Really not happy with this company, was told on the phone, we are to busy to come out and have a look at putting you a new stove in, had to take photos and do full description of what I wanted, and they would take a look and go from there, the lady couldn’t get me of the phone fast enough, so I did what they said, 8 weeks later, I get a email saying still to busy and haven’t even had time to look at my email.not even a phone call back to explain and apologise.not good business, so I went elsewhere and got a lovely stove sorted.👎👎👎

The quality of the installation was excellent. Mark and Mike were thorough and explained everything with a great deal of patience. It has transformed my front room.

My elderly Mam needed a new gas fire & with Christmas looming time was tight. The ladies in the showroom could not have been more patient & helpful even allowing Mam to bring a sample frame home to try. Understandably they were not able to fit it due to short timeframe so can’t comment on this aspect, but in terms of buying the product, the staff were very knowledgeable & provided excellent advice when choosing which product.

We moved into our home two years ago and have been rebuilding it. We have had mixed luck with tradesmen but Ember Fires at Workington are a step above for both people and the work they do. The girls in the showroom Carol, Bev and Betty are knowledgeable and a joy to deal with, friendly and helpful. The owner Mark who does the installations and his helper Craig do a great job and again are a pleasure to deal with. They are easy to get hold of respectful of your home and do an excellent job. Marks brother Stephen who fine tuned our plaster work is also professional and does excellent work. As previously stated after dealing with some mixed performance tradesmen I just cannot give this company too much praise. If you want a new fireplace and fire that looks great and a company that does an excellent job then go to Ember Fires Workington.
