What a fabulous restaurant
What a fabulous restaurant. The three of us simply wandered in as it looked appealing from the outside, and we are so glad we did. It does Caribbean food - they do the softest most flavoursome jerk chicken in different ways (I had the jerk chicken burger) along with fried plantain, sweet potato fries and many other Caribbean dishes. And the desserts were so original we couldn't not have them. We had fantastic mango crumble and completely awesome Jamaican trifle full of gingerbread and dark rum, mango and custard with a dusting of chocolate. I had said I'd share mine but scoffed the lot I'm afraid. And with the reggae playing while we ate, along with their lovely, friendly service, it was really memorable. It's the only place I'm going to eat at when I visit Peterborough.
