Hard to even give one star but there is…

Hard to even give one star but there is not a zero star option. We had Emergency Air install three units 4 years ago. We also paid for 5 year maintenance plans on each. At first these guys were pretty good, although now we realize they installed poor quality units (Goodman) and every maintenance visit something has died.

The maintenance visit today found $2000 worth of repairs on a four year old system. Given they have tried to sell us electromagnetic filters for $2000 when you can buy them from trane for $200 should be a red flag!

Do not let them in your house! Biggest mistake we ever made! We will probably sue them for false claims.

Never Again!!!

I've used & trusted Emergency Air but no more. They installed my NEW unit just 4 years ago (in March 2021). The part needed (blower motor) was still under warranty but I was told (by Emergency Air) it was not. The blower was all that was needed and even that quote was way over the $600 I finally paid to another company to fix it (this other company also checked and found out the part was still under warranty). I ALMOST paid Emergency Air $7500 in parts and labor that would have cost me OVER $12,000 with the 10 year loan they got for me!!! Even if EACH of the 3 parts they tried to sell me cost $1000 each (with the "FREE" surge protector) - i thought - that's still $4500 in labor PLUS loan fees for payments for 10 YEARS!!! Thankfully I started calling others that knew a little more about HVAC and 1 by 1 they said NO that's CRAZY!!! Call others for estimates. The company I had come out couldn't believe it. He knew what this "oil thing" was that Emergency Air spoke of AND the surge protector AND the "special filters" and could not even come close to $7500 plus a 10 year loan installment. The part i needed "being under warranty" cost me NOTHING and when ALL was said & done my bill was $600 - it took him all of under 2 hours to do the work......
I'm so disappointed in Emergency Air and the fact that I've recommended them to a dozen friends & family members over the years....
They also owe me $250 for their "1 yr service warranty" that I DO NOT WANT either and paid CASH for.....will I ever see it???? We shall see.......

liars and thieves

liars and thieves. CALL ANYONE ELSE. THIS COMPANY WILL ROB YOU BLIND. Quoted us 20k, left us in 100 degree heat telling us they had to replace the unit and suggested we go to Home Depot and buy a window unit. Another guy came in, bypassed the control board until a new one came in, came back and fixed it for $450.00. RUN - ANYWHERE. AS FAST AS YOU CA
