Tried to get an emergency gas engineer, they charged us £200 and said it would be within 95mins. 4 hours of calling and chasing later and they sent a text saying the appointment’s cancelled, blocked our number and kept the money. It’s just simply theft and fraud.

Do not use!
Phoned this company in an emergency to fix an issue. Was told someone could be round in 2 hours so paid the £75 deposit. No one turned up. Phoned back and they said they would chase the plumber. Again no return phone call. I phoned back and said to tell them that it would now have to be in the morning. They said they would send me a text within 30mins to tell me what time. That was the last I heard from them. Tried calling numerous times in the morning - nothing. Tried texting - nothing. I told them we had a baby in the house so was super urgent - not a peep.

I managed to get hold of my usual local plumber who is brilliant. When he came round to fix the problem he told me he had got a text from this company offering him £75 per hour (the company would keep the other £75 an hour on completion). Essentially these guys aren't tradesmen. They are middlemen. They just send out texts to local tradesmen. Basically no different to you phoning round. And considering you have probably already phoned around, like we had, they are unlikely to find anyone if you can't. When they cant find anyone seems like they just keep your £75 deposit and then ghost you.

So in conclusion, the good reviews on here are probably from the lucky ones that got sent a decent local tradesmen. Or they are written by the company themselves.

By the way - this is the first review I've ever written. Thought it worthwhile to stop anyone else having £75 taken off them the week of Christmas.

Was desperately looking for an emergency plumber. Took deposit, no-one showed up, contact number doesn't work, no other contact details on the website. Paypal email has a different company's details. Bank have refunded and are investigating as a potential fraud.

Absolute crooks! I wish I’d read the reviews before booking them. I was unable to leave work early to get home for the plumber so tried to cancel. The guy wouldn’t budge and kept telling me that I couldn’t cancel and would be charged. He insisted that we owed him over £300 and started sending me abusive texts and has since emailed us with threats from a supposed ‘debt collection’ agency (it doesn’t exist - we checked!) Reported to Watchdog and will be contacting trading standards. Nothing but a bully but he won’t see the money from us.

Mother in law contacted these crooks to come out and look at a plumbing issue. Never arrived in the evening when they were meant to and didn't turn up following morning. Took deposit from my mother in laws debit card, then we chased to find out when they would be coming. Guy was rude and talked over my wife on the phone so instructed them to not bother coming out.
He then proceeded to put another charge through on my mother in laws debit card and began texting her abuse. Also lied to mother in law and said his "colleague" had spoken to me and talked me through sorting the issue when 1) they never had my number and 2) I spoke to a friend who is a retired plumber to get advice and manged to fix the issue myself
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AS THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND THEN NOT PROVIDE A SERVICE AND WILL ABUSE YOU VERBALLY AND VIA TEXT MESSAGE.

Had a blocked toilet at weekend so called for plumber. Was told that would be able to sort so paid £75 up front, with £75 to be paid to the tradesman. At first thought plumber had fixed and paid remaining £75 but unfortunately blockage further down.

To be fair to plumber, wasn't his fault. Did what he could and don't begrudge paying for him to come out. But ridiculously oversold by Emergency Tradesman. Wouldn't have paid weekend prices if had known may be something he couldn't fix. Called them and bloke was rude and just talked over me. Then sent me an abusive text! Called me a crook!
Not a company I'd recommend (and by the way, if you read this, sending abusive texts makes you the crook - see the malicious communications act)

The worst. One star is a hugely generous rating. Charged 2 extortionately priced 'hours' for just over an hours 'work' to tell me what I knew already. Wanted to source the part the next day and keep on charging £148 an hour to come back. I asked for a report on the 'work' done for my accounts and to source part from my usual non-emergency plumber and they basically refused despite the £300 bill. As close to theft as you can get. Dont waste your time and money on these crooks.
