SCAM! BEWARE OF HIDDEN FEES!

I ordered some clothes, and after the parcel reached my country, my postal office then called me and demanded me to pay the “import duty” / VAT, which shocked me as the 2 only possible shipping solutions on EMF Clothings website says “tax included”.
HOWEVER! THE RECEIPT IN MY MAIL SAYS THE SHIPPING DOES NOT INCLUDE THE TAX! THE ######### SCAMMED ME!

I sent them a mail, and after presenting them the various regulations they’ve crossed, they are defending themselves with an “custom made law that applies to everyone” and then ghosted me?
How tf does that even work?

Well fortunately I contacted the bank and ECC cuz i aint playing no games and they aren’t neither.
Today I got my money back, and can happily say that the law and moral ethics are on my side.

Disgusting!

Disgusting!
I ordered a black vest which cost me £127 and once it arrived it was all frayed on the inside.
I took photos and sent to Geoff Simmonds who I'm guessing is the owner.
I sent Item back and NEVER RECIEVED MY REFUND or even a replacement garment.
With a string of unwillingness to help via email I was left 127 quid out of pocket....
Be cautious they are aiming for maximum profit minimum effort. Horrible people.

A BEAUTIFUL SOUL

When i read the negative reviews regarding emf clothing and geoff simmonds my heart sank , i was so sad that i felt i had to write a review . My story has been TRAUMATIC , for 2 YEARS i slept on an airbed on the kitchen floor not knowing what was wrong , someone heard of my plight and came with a moniter and said the only place i would feel better was on the kitchen floor . All my life i never saw doctors had PERFECT HEALTH but things got so bad my husband and i had to leave and live in a caravan where there was no signal instantly i became well .
We decided to go to a little house on santa maria island azores which we had bought one year earlier ,i became so ill that i had to sleep in the car for 2 MONTHS a huge RADAR SYSTEM had been put above our house and so we had to flee . We went to faial island in the azores and bought a cheap house after one year 3 mobile antennas went up 2 near our house and this is where GEOFF SIMMONDS came to the rescue . When phoning i was met with a very nice person called IVAN he was so LOVELY putting me at ease and then he put me through to geoff .What can i say about this man i have never been so kindly treated he must have given me HOURS of his time TIME WHICH HE WAS NOT PAID FOR this is indeed a SACRIFICE whilst trying to run a buisness .With his help i purchased MANY BEAUTIFUL CURTAINS which kept the microwaves out and also wallpaper i am now able to live in our house . This man is a BEAUTIFUL SOUL my husband and i LOVE HIM VERY MUCH and for providing a service which is so greatly needed , he also gave much time to my husband who is also GRATEFUL . GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR STAFF KIND REGARDS SUSAN CHITTENDEN

Thank you!!!!

I would like to thank Geoff for saving my life. I have been through 4years of hell and the nhs basically left me for dead, they’ve given me nearly every antibiotic you could ever have I was on drips, feeding tubes and nothing worked. I met Geoff at a seminar and he said you will never get better until you are shielded from everything. So I shielded my whole house with the advice from Geoff and 6months later I got my life back. I couldn’t watch tv and collapsed if a mobile phone went off near me now I can watch tv and walk past people on their phones without me feeling it. The advice from Geoff has been superb and he is the only person to have got me better from being in the verge of death to having a life again. Thank you so much Geoff I owe you so much and don’t think I would be here now if it wasn’t for your help. Thank you. Bruno Berwick

Terrible terrible customer service

Terrible terrible customer service. Zero willingness to address the problem, which has taken me many months of emails, and no resolution. I am now £125 poorer with no product, and no resolution in sight. I have found dealing with this company more stressful than any other shopping experience and would DEFINITELY NOT recommend that you purchase from them. Trying to take my issue up with trading standards/my bank but I think they have dragged it out long enough for me not to be able to make a claim now. Really disappointed.

WARNING - EMF Clothing

WARNING - Stay away from this company! Even when buying pricy products they dont care if it gets delivered. Usually hanging up, if they dont agree with me on the phone :-( I am making a case with my bank, to get back my money. I will warn other people to buy anything from this website - WARNING - UPDATE june 24. Still no sign of the last products - I know there is a tracking ID. The fact is, just like explained many times - We did not get the products. - We did not sign for receiving the products, nor did anyone on the adresse. We will get our money back from the bank, as you refuse to resend the products we paid for. Also we dont like that EMFclothing threaten us with a lawsuit as we mention, that we did not get what we paid for, and that we think its EMFclothings responsibility that we do so - We will never even consider buying products here again.

Stay away from this company!

Stay away from this company! If I could give zero stars, or minus, I would..
I contacted the company in lots of email about the need for returning a couple of things I bought, that I can not use. NO answer! They were happy to answer my questions before I bought something though… I had to use the only address they had written on their website (which they have now changed…)
I have returned 2 shielding objects I bought from them, they are unused and returned within timeframe. I used signed for and trackable shipping, and they have collected the items, NO refund, NO answers on email.
Before I ordered they also promised I could get VAT deduction for personal protection clothing. That was not true either.
It is true as others state for this company; So stay away!
After reading my review here, they even made litigations against me and wrote:
“I would be grateful if you could remove your vexacious postings about our company on Trust Pilot. Once this is done we will suspend our pending litigation against you..”
They sent me a claim that I had not paid for my order, so they could not ship it before it was fully paid, when actually I had paid for everything, and sent back two items to EMF clothing, so they had both the money and the goods:
“There is a problem with your payment for EMF Clothing Ltd order with the reference xxxxxx. … We cannot ship your order until we receive your payment. “
EMF clothing has changed the writing on their website after my review here. But don’t let that fool you. They never did the right thing and refunded my money for the returned goods. They don’t comply with European consumer laws that says on can return items bought online within 14 days. They never answered any of my emails when I wanted to return and never refunded after I sent it back. I had to go through my bank and credit card company to get my money back.
This is the worst company I have ever encountered. They are so far from customer friendly you can ever get!
What they write here about me is so far from the truth as you can get. I have proof of singed for delivery to them. I had to send this proof to my credit card company to get my money back through them instead.. That says it all.

And I would like to add, like someone else here:
Your response has further displayed your poor attitude and poor business practices!

Rip off merchants

I bought the second most expensive shielding canopy on their site and was told it would effectively block out mobile and WiFi.

When I tested it, it only reduced the WiFi signal from next door by half and a lot of radiation still got through rendering it useless. Was told they had a no refund policy despite them telling me that the product would work in my situation during a phone conversation.

Not only that, the hour long phonecall with the owner that I had, I was later billed around 70pounds for. They had set the number up as a premium number and didn't mention it on the site or during the call at all! So I was charged a huge amount for a phonecall which was also refused refund for.

Furthermore I explicitly stated they needed to state that their contact numbers are premium rate, and they have still not stated this on their website.

I would not buy anything from this company, they are clearly only in it for the money and their products do not work.

Edit - nothing I said was false at all. The individual I spoke to was in Sweden. How is a UK to Sweden phonecall in any way local? When I complained via email to the same individual (owner) he told me that he had spent an hour of his time on the phone to advise me and that somehow justified the payment.

This needs investigation - clearly when I called the UK number on the site I was billed around 70 pounds for an hour call. Saying you use a local number when you are taking a call from the UK to Sweden is showing more evidence that you are deceptive sellers.

Just because I use a mobile does not mean I don't turn it off and want protection from the masts and local WiFi. Your response suggested that because I used a mobile somehow I didn't want shielding. A pathetic attempt to try to discredit me.
I tested the product in real life situations with real phone and to see the efficacy of your shielding and it was totally ineffective. After I requested a refund you essentially ignored me and did not respond.

Customers should be warned of this and this is a valid complaint.

Your response has further displayed your poor attitude and poor business practices. Trust pilot should investigate one thing, are you receiving calls through your UK advertised number to Sweden, which was the case when I called you. In which case this nonsense that you use a local number can be refuted. That is clearly an international call which you make no inclination to share with your customers.

If you don't receive any money and it's not set as a premium line then you still need to let customers know they will incur an international rate calling you. Surely many others have received large bills for this too? Landlines charge much higher fees for international calls not just mobiles.

Id recommend trust pilot to report you to trading standards for not informing customers of the international call fees. No one wants to spend an hour on the phone and then get hit unexpectedly with a massive bill. This is facts. I'm not making it up.

All of these events occured and your response is completely inadequate.

Is your local number a Swedish number? Are other customers getting huge bills for calling you? Have you alerted anyone to the fact you are based in Sweden?

These questions need to be answered and a resolution offered so other customers aren't stung in the same way again.

And there is a reason for your no refund policy - your products are ineffective. If you had any faith in your products you would at least provided a 30 day guarantee.

It's your job to inform customers that they can incur high call charges because you are in Sweden. You advertise as a UK or Scottish company but opertate from Sweden. It's not clear.

All I'm asking for is reasonable and clear business practices.

Our products are all tested to IEE299 International standards at the University of the Armed Forces Testing Lab in Ger,many by Professor Peter Pauli. Our phone number is a UK number, and clients are only charged for a UK call to a normal UK number. Perhaps the callers mobile company were the ones who made the charge.

Faulty items

We bought some protective clothing from this company. After only a couple of weeks of minimal wear inside the house only (nothing strenuous, sporty or frictional), and only one delicate hand wash in cold water with no detergent, the item started forming holes. Despite it obviously being a defect in the fabric of the clothing, the company refused to replace or refund the item. I would be very wary of buying any fabrics from this company.
