Moving house is already stressful but Dave and his team were the easier part of the entire process. Excellent service & nice lads. They were very careful with all the furniture/boxes, nothing was scratched or damaged. They came with protective rugs for the floors to make as little mess as possible.
I cannot recommend David Emmott and his team highly enough. They did an incredible job in a timely manner to completely empty my house, without me being there, exactly to my specifications. Everything was done 100% correctly! Amazing. Prompt, courteous, timely and a fair price! Superb customer service!

We moved across County Durham yesterday and cannot praise our removal crew enough. From contacting David to get a quote all the way to moving in all went swimmingly. Our buyers and us agreed to book Emmott and Son for completion day. They arrived with two vehicles and plenty of manpower. There was clear leadership and coordination and a good spirit and sense of humour within the team. All were polite and respectful to us and the property. Very patient when we had to wait hours to get the keys released. Thank you for making our move a success.
This removal company has proved to be the worst I have ever used ...and I have moved 7 times previously with no problems. The move out was fine , and we put all of our belongings in storage , as our new house was not ready. The storage container caught fire and damaged our belongings . Our removal men denied knowledge of this fire despite loading up the lorries from there on moving in day. Emmott and Son refuse to take responsibility for this and keeps passing my emails back to the storage manager. We feel so let down. The move in was horrendous , all the boxes were placed in the wrong rooms despite being labelled , they piled everything on top of each other and furniture on top of that. I had to pay a man to come out and sort this. He was also disgusted at what he found . Total disrespect to me and my feelings by Emmott and Son. Never use these people as they appear to be covering this up.
A huge thank you to Dave and his team for taking away much of the stress of moving. The team were friendly, courteous, professional and 'moved with ease' items I thought they may struggle with. Couple that with great value for money and I have no hesitation recommending these guys.

Excellent and efficient service from the team. I would highly recommend them, having moved twice in the last 6 months their help was invaluable.
From start to finish the lads were fantastic who moved us, as arrived they cracked straight on with the job and nothing was a problem the whole day they moved us. They had to call another van to move the rest of our stuff as they realised we had too much furniture etc, but that was no problem and the van was with us whitin 10 minutes. All three of the lads who moved us were friendly and polite and couldn’t have asked anything else from them. Top service and definitely recommend.
Great team..very professional from start to finish.They possessed a real calmness which took the stress out of the whole process.
