Terrible set up for the client. You put in your details and specify day and time. Then you get a notification saying 'confirmed'. You should not take this at face value, it is anything but confirmed. It does not specify if that means a cleaner has taken on the job or not.
In fact, if no cleaner has their name on the job, you can't be certain whether the clean is going ahead until 3 hours before it actually starts. Eventually I was informed the night before that they were having trouble finding someone to do it. I found no option to cancel without incurring a hefty fee (even though the job was unassigned!!), so I was stuck not knowing how to plan my day in advance or whether my home will be clean or dirty at the end of the day.
A vague and wordy email was sent by way of apology, and after some back and forth (they clearly don't believe in succinct and clear communication) it turned out there wasn't really any day or time that could be accommodated in my area. I was even more frustrated that they wrote 'confirmed' initially and held back money on my card until it was inevitably cancelled 3 hours beforehand.
I will definitely use a more traditional agency in the future instead. I will only try E-mop again if the client user experience is vastly improved to allow cancellation where the job remains unassigned as well as very clear communication about whether the job is assigned or not.

The inital interaction from this company is pleasant. Very helpful and the price was very reasonable. However, I had ordered an end of tenancy clean of a 2 Bedroom Flat and although we told them they needed to provide everything, the cleaner arrived with no Mop or Hoover. So although the cleaner did a decent job, the clean was sub-standard without the proper equipment. To make matters worth, the solution emop offered was a £15 refund. Pathectic.

Felix was a true professional and hard working cleaning my apartment for an end of tenancy clean. His attention to detail was outstanding. He was kind and friendly and really made me relaxed as a customer. I couldn’t recommend him enough for any job. Great service would love to use again

I had an appointment booked as a landlord and had made arrangements with the tenants for a specific date.
The company will wait until the last minute before notifying you if someone can make the job or not so there is a high level of uncertainty.
I woke up on the morning of the scheduled clean to say that there were no available cleaners and had to pay extra to arrange a separate service via a different company.
Not worth it if you are looking for a service that is definite.

I have nothing but good things to say about Emop. From the cleaner to the support team (email and phone) to how easy it was to book and reschedule my end of tenancy clean. It made my move so much easier and the end of tenancy clean was perfect!

The cleaner himself was absolutely amazing and a lovely man. However, towards the end of the clean I received a call from eMop. A man was extremely aggressive, practically interrogating me as I declined his offer for £150 off my next clean. He brought up details in my cleaning request form, that I was “away for 22 days” in a strange attempt to almost bully me into accepting his offer. After I politely declined his request for the 5th time, he commented “you want us to do all your dirty work”… Extremely strange and concerning, especially from someone who has access to my address. Furthermore, the price suggests customers may expect some degree of professionalism; don’t bother with eMop.
In addition, they aggressively accused me of missing the cleaner’s calls and providing the wrong phone number/one that didn’t work… Which is impossible as I messaged the cleaner WhatsApp beforehand. I “missed” one call—my signal dropped and I called him back the same exact minute (I have proof, obviously) and spoke to him as he was going into the house where my flatmate was waiting by the door for him to knock; he didn’t mention me missing calls or providing the wrong number at all. I was confused, and asked to clarify which phone number I had provided, to which he answered the number I was calling on, which evidently worked…

It’s actually impossible to get a reply from this company.
Purely leaving a review to remind everyone how terrible they are.
After my last review and they replied that they were concerned about it and for me to email them, which I did, yet 7 days later I’m still waiting for a reply.
Doesn’t seem like great concern to me…

Extremely disappointed with Emop. The cleaning was absolutely terrible, and to make matters worse, they charged me for 10.5 hours when the cleaners were clearly there for only 4.5 hours. I’ve tried contacting customer service, but they never replied. Completely unprofessional and dishonest. I do not recommend using this service.

My experience was great ! Shukurat used her initiative in my home. She stayed for 4 hours. The company made sure I could use the website. A relief to have someone so thorough. I will definitely use the company again and ask for the same girl.
Kafilat was very good. Understood everything and was quick and thorough as you would expect. Anytime again.
We arranged for the cleaner to do a deep clean of our new flat. He completed the job after 5 hours and the flat is still absolutely filthy, the carpets haven’t been hoovered, the surfaces are all grimy and the bathroom is filthy. Terrible experience.
