I detest companies that go for the hard sell. I spoke with a lady who seemed to have serious issues trying to send the two quotes I asked for, getting a second email address from me to try and send them. Turns out the issue was their end. Only received one quote then get contacted by someone in the company outside office hours looking to start the process again so clearly there was an issue with their systems or this person was looking to poach a commission. Left such a bad taste in my mouth I won’t be continuing with them.

Our price was great and our floors are nice. However, Empire uses local contractors. We gave them a 2 day window to do our floors. However, these guys were here on a Friday and did a horrible rush job so they didn't have to work Saturday. I asked them what I needed to cover or move as to not get dirty. They only asked me to move the kitchen table in the kitchen where they were installing. I have an Autistic son, so my husband stayed and I left. When I returned home they were finishing up. When they finished, the guy outside asked me to sign. I said let's look at the work first. After we went inside he told me not to walk on the floor or remove the strip for 24 hours. That was no issue, but there was soot all over my kitchen counters and it went over my open floor plan wall into my living room on my couches all other furniture and piano. I asked him if he was going to clean up his mess and he said they were not responsible for clean up. So I did not sign for him to get paid. Instead, I called to complain and to also tell them that they put the baseboards on wrong. They offered me a small credit and told me they would send an installation specialist out to fix it. But they sent the same contractor who messed it up in the first place. I will never use Empire again!!!!!
Plus, they keep sending ads in my email. I called the corporate # to get them to remove my email a week ago. But the ads are still coming. They have awful communication with the field people. Do not use Empire!!!!!!

I was offered a significant discount if I signed the day of the sales presentation. Four days later I opted to continue but the price went up. I was told by the sales person that he would talk to his supervisor or somebody to see if he could get the same price of course that didn’t happen. I did elect to move forward. The first installer had a flat tire couldn’t come. The second installer called me, stated he was coming from Chicago, but didn’t have the complete order. Stated he had to shop around two or three stores to find the correct materials. So basically it would’ve taken him close to three hours or better to get to my home. I concern was this installer would try to get the project completed in a single day and would rush through. At that point, I decided simply to cancel and go with somebody local. Granted, I paid more but feel far more confident that if I had any issues I had somebody to deal with face-to-face. what’s interesting is that when I went to cancel the contract they offered me another significant discount if I would continue. Definitely a red flag.

My flooring was installed in 2018. At the time I was told my flooring was guaranteed for life. A couple years ago my floor started to buckle up now my floors are chipping. I called several times supposedly the supervisor told me I would have to

Another fantastic job done by empire, had the stairs and living room carpeted customer service was is 10/10 and kept me updated on when it was getting delivered and fitted and a phone call after to make sure I was happy with everything which I was, thanks empire continue with excellent work your providing and see you soon,

I couldn’t recommend empire enough truly professional from start to finish I’ve had the bedroom carpeted and the living room done in laminate with no issues at all meet mark the owner at the shop and he went through which carpet was best and same for the laminate, I’m going back next month for the stairs carpet, thanks mark & empire fitters for a fantastic job you’ve done for me and my family,

Really happy with my flooring it’s gorgeous.Took them just two days for flooring my new house,carpet,laminate and vinyl and even shaved my doors upstairs for a small cost.Mark was brilliant would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I searched long and hard for a decent flooring company when we had our house refurbished. We required tiling across a large expanse of the kitchen and sun lounge, as well as carpeting in a large lounge and stairway.

On checking other reviews and the pricing, we called into the shop in Prescot. We were made to feel very welcome and were shown a range of flooring options by a lovely man. We were then left to our own devices to decide what we wanted, but the gentleman was there when we needed further guidance.

After Mark (the owner) came out and measured up, he provided the cost, which we were happy with.

We were pleased we chose Empire and they arrived on the specified date and time. The young man who fitted the flooring was a true professional and did a fantastic job. He told us afterwards how to care for the tiles and the carpet and fully tidied up afterwards.

I’m always hesitant to recommend businesses to others, but in this case, I have the flooring to show what a great job they did and I would certainly use them again.

Don’t waste your time if you have stairs! Scheduled appointment based on their 50% off ad. When employee arrived he gave me this big pep talk on how great this company was. After seeing I had stairs he said they don’t do stairs with bannisters…guess they don’t have professionals who can do the work…hard to believe given America’s Finest Carpet easily installed floors about 12 years ago…suspect they only want the easy jobs to maximize profit…

The communication was horrible. I wanted my install done in one day, they said no problem, but it took them 2 full days. I had concerns about a particular area and spoke to customer service, never got a reply back.

My name is Albert. I live in the Columbus Ohio area. I have been emailing, phone calling Empire Floors for 6 months, asking them to finish the job. I am missing the closet floor, and white trim around the bathroom.

I have been given three different work order numbers and passed around to service people. I was promised that this issue would be resolved by January 3rd, 2022. I have not received any phone calls.

Once again, their word does not mean anything to them or the company. What happened to quality companies?
